Fun place but the service is horrible. Bartenders were rude but the wait for a lane was really long. It was not crowded, they had 4-5 lanes open at any given time with 15 plus people waiting. Probably one of the best bars in cincy if you want to do something rather than sit and drink. They have little bowling and pin ball as well as a cool rooftop. They have a lot of unique drinks and they're all really good. Up until 8:00 it is all family friendly and then after that you must be 21 to enter. Really cool place to check out in OTR. read more

Took our family of six, after reviewing Pins website, and they wouldn't let my kids in because they didn't have ID's. I'm extremely confused, because they have it clearly stated on their website that they can come in until 9pm. My children were devastated, a pointless 2 hour round trip. I even checked instagram and it said nothing about it not allowing kids. Don't bring your kids, it's not family friendly. read more

We stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon, and it was such a fun time! This location has I think 4 different floors: ground for arcade games, 1&2 for duck pin bowling, and roof for giant jenga! They also have a nice tap list and fun cocktails. My husband and I got beers and played a round of giant jenga and a round of bowling. The lanes do get stuck every once in a while, but there's usually an attendant close-by to get it going again. This is a fun place for groups, dates, and even families (we were bowling next to a couple with kids). Definitely a fun spot, and I'll surely be back! read more

We initially came here because of the duck bowling; which was fun and cheap and the wait is never long. But we come back because of the great staff like Danielle, Caleb and Paul. Paul is a pretty amazing bar tender, he can make a pretty decent guess of what you like to drink after talking to him for a couple minutes, and has a really killer mustache. I recommend the baller drink. It's 12$, has 4 different alcohols and tastes like what I imagine a kiss from a citrus flavored angel would taste like. Plus you get to keep the cup so when you come home with 5 of them you can show your wife and kids how big of an alcoholic you are in style. A side note, don't try to bowl with 2 balls at one time. Apparently only a drunk jackass would do and the staff WILL heckle you and probably cut you off. read more

The staff is super friendly and LOVE dogs! Our dog Bella received so much attention from the staff and they even gave her a doggie welcome bag! This place was a super fun first date spot! This place was four floors of fun...and drinks! The mechanical bowling alleys were so much easier than traditional bowling lanes, at least for me. I traditionally can't even break 50 in a real bowling spot but here I beat my date who used to be on a bowling team. This place gets five stars just for that! LOL The balls are wooden and maybe twice as large as the balls for skee. The lanes are obviously not as long and the pins sometimes needed multiple opportunities to reset but they were always accurate. The second and third floor's have a pinball machines; actually the third floor is all pinball machines with a bar. The rooftop (yaassss) has a bar and large games like Jenga, Connect 4 and, you guessed it- a bar and they had my favorite Goeslings ginger beer which any place gets points for that. Each area has lounge chairs and comfy sofas and friendly bartenders and staff. I learned from one such bartender that in Ohio, if they don't sell food at a bar, you can bring your own food in. The night we were there, a group of people ordered like 10 pies of pizza. That is something I was really excited to learn. Next time (and there will be a next time) I will come prepared with fine vittles from a neighboring OTR establishment. The last tidbit I would like to share is that we came during a weekday evening. I think we met at six. There was plenty of metered parking and it wasn't so congested like it gets on a Friday or Saturday night. So keep that in mind, as well. Enjoy! read more

I've been here a few times to bowl but this is the first I just came for drinks. The roof top is super cute and love the furniture and vibe. You do have to order liquor downstairs first before you go up because they only have beer and wine on the rooftop. It's a great atmosphere and many different seat options. I made my first visit to Pins to try out the bocce and bowling. This place was very busy and loud. We put our names on the list for duck pin bowling and were given a 2 hour wait time. The rooftop was so jammed that you couldn't move. Bocce shut down at 8 , so that only left the other video games. The system for bowling needs fixing. We stood waiting for quite a while as they had to text each person on the list and wait 5 minutes before moving to the next name. We saw quite a few empty lanes in this interim.We left after waiting 1 and 1/2 hours. Disappointed in the entire system. I had the Blueberry mule which was very sweet. read more

Pretty unique place. There's an assortment of pinball machines, jumbo jenga, and bowling lanes. It has a cool concept with the whole mini-bowling lanes. Downsides, drinks are a tad pricey but they have unique house-made cocktails. The upstairs has a decent view of OTR and is a great chill spot. Pinball is mad fun too. The bowling itself can be pretty finicky. The pins are attached to strings which can cause some issues when they don't lock in place correctly or get twisted. The bartender on the rooftop on 07/13 was extremely rude and his service was in fact so shocking I almost said to him that I will go downstairs if this is how the service is up here. Went here for a company event, so it was drinks, pin bowling (which many of us had never done before), and a taco bar, which was very tasty for being a bowling alley. Our group was about 20 people, and we had a part of the second floor all to ourselves, with three lanes to bowl. There are bars on the first and third level. My only complaint is that it was HOT on the upper level. Although it is sad to see 16 Bit Bar and Arcade to close down due to the pandemic, Pins the replacement has enough to keep anyone entertained. Between bowling, ping pong, arcade games, and most importantly booze, this multi story attraction is perfect for the family during the day and the college student or young professional at night or on the weekend. I was from out of town but I've been to the Pins in Columbus a few times. This location blows that one out of the water! Three levels including a rooftop. We primarily sat on the rooftop because the weather was great in May. We weren't here for long so I didn't get to play any games but if I ever find myself in Cincinnati I will definitely go back and check them out. read more

I have never been duck pin bowling before but people kept raving about this place and it sounded fun! We went on a Friday night and got there at about 9pm. It was pretty busy already and the wait time for the bowling was an hour and a half! We signed up and waited for about two hours. We went to go check on where we were on the list and they somehow didn't have us on it? They let us go next because they remembered my friend who put her name on the waitlist. The bowling was pretty fun! You have to bowl very hard which takes some getting used to! The drinks there were very good! I was a big fan of the baller which came in a novelty cup and was very tasty (in a fruity way). We would go again!! read more

We had so much fun at Pins Mechanical with pinball & duck pin bowling (mini bowling)! It's so posh - fancy leather Chesterfield sofas are at most lanes instead of creepy plastic benches. And you keep your own shoes on, no renting of strange shoes. I feel this is infinitely better than regular bowling, although surprisingly difficult. We got there around 1:15 pm on a Saturday and had a 20 minute wait. We decided to play pinball on the third floor while we waited. They have an ATM & a change machine up there, as the pinball machines take only quarters. Bowling is $5 / person per game. They are really strict about bringing drinks in, they will not allow you to bring drinks in from the outside. I think they're overly aggressive about it, but I supposed they do make most of their money on beverages. One if my friends bowled in heels. You can since you keep your own shoes on. We will be back! The first two floors are bowling, & the third floor has a ton of pinball machines & ping pong. We had planned on coming here at 6 pm, but a friend of ours tried to come at that time a few weeks ago & had a 2 hour wait for a lane. So I called in advance & they told me that they do Not take lane reservations on the weekends, & that starting at 3 pm on Saturday you're looking at a 1 - 2 hour wait for lanes. Also, there is a limit of 4 people per lane. We had 8 people, so we had to wait for 2 lanes to open up. They won't guarantee they'll be next to each other, but if you want 2 lanes next to each other you maybe have to wait longer. We did, but it was luckily only a 20 minute wait. They projected a 20 - 40 minute wait. At 2:30 pm the drinking / wait area was pretty much full waiting for lanes. When you put your name in they have you fill out your team names that they enter for you by default on your scoreboard. Oh, very important - you also get 3 turns per person, not 2 like regular bowling. read more

Pins has everything you need for a fun night. There's ten or so duck pin lanes, 20+ pin ball machines, ping pong and so much more all on three floors. They have a bar on the first and third floors but they have staff that walk around with iPads and can take your order and bring you your drink anywhere in the place. They don't offer any food but you can bring absolutely any food into the bar. We just had our company holiday party there this week and they did an amazing job! The staff was so accommodating and incredibly nice with any request we had. The bourbon selection is also top notch! We all had so much! read more

Love it! Came here on a Sunday funday after brunch at LouVino. Very cute decor, cheesy 50s theme going on, excellent drinks, lots of beers on tap. They also have punch bowls! I couldn't imagine trying to bowl on a Saturday night here but Sunday afternoon meant there was no wait. It's cute duckpin bowling which means the lanes, balls, and pins are smaller. You get three rolls vs. two. The sitting area behind the lanes is small so it can get crowded if there are big groups. Also, the area where you sign up to bowl could get crowded too. Other than that, it's a very cute concept and a fun addition to Main Street. I definitely will return! read more
