My friends and I decided to go bowling and wanted a great night. Unfortunately, we were heavily disappointed. We got there over two hours before close and they didn't want to give us a lane. The lanes stopped working multiple times and when we asked for help, they ignored our group. We sat there for 15 minutes before we asked them once again to fix our broken lane. The employee gave my boyfriend a dirty look all because we wanted our lane fixed so we could bowl. The workers were clearly high while on the clock and on their phones. Music was so loud my ears were hurting and I couldn't even hear my group. In total we bowled about 15 minutes because the lane kept breaking. Horrible, horrible experience. Not sure if I would come back again if i knew these people were working. read more

Got there there was over 1 hour wait on bowling. They would text us when they are ready. After waiting over an hour they text us our lane is ready in 10 min. We made our way to the counter only to be told we have to go to the back of the line of about 50 people that hasn't reserved yet. Why would we have to wait and hour then have to wait another 30-45 min to accept our lane. There should be 1 line for new and 1 line for people already reserved. This can be an easy fix. read more

This was our first visit here. The staff was pleasant and tried to help us with our issues. However, while yes, there was construction being done, it was just a mess. The bowling floor was slippery. It would have been better and safer to just wear our own shoes. We told them it was slippery and they just did a quick sweep and that didn't help. We had our 3 kids with us and we promised them we would bowl so we stayed and they tried to be careful. Our 7 year old did slip once, but luckily she was fine. Additionally, the photos on here look nothing like that. The photos look better than when we visited. 100% better than when we visited. Those photos may have been before construction. The balls were old and dented and were in no way organized by weight. The holes were tiny in the size I needed that I just had to size up for my fingers to fit. Mind you, we've bowled at a few different bowling alley's and I've never had that issue. When we went to the rest room we noticed wires everywhere. Some were very close to the shut off valves under the sink. Going into the bathroom, it looked like it had not been cleaned in a few days. (Check photos for all). It just reminded me of a saying "if the bathroom is dirty, imagine the kitchen". 2 stars because we did have fun, but the safety precautions and cleanliness could have been better. Great value! I took my high school physics class to Strike & Spare on the evening of the eclipse for some bowling fun. The prices were incredibly affordable. The management went out of their way to accommodate my large group, getting lanes next to each other and so on. The pizzas we ordered were delicious and the free refills on the pitchers of lemonade were especially nice. The shoes we rented looked brand new. And when our prepaid bowling hour was over, the management gave us a wink and let us finish up our almost-finished games. It felt as though my family was running the place. read more

Last night 10 of us went and asked for 2 lanes. A girl wrote down My brothers number because their Wi-Fi wasn't working to add him to the list to wait for lanes. After seeing about 30 people behind us get lanes we went up and asked if they had our information and they confirmed they did. After seeing all of the lanes fill up an an hour and a half go by we asked a second time and the manager confirmed they didn't have our information and it would be another 20 minutes for lanes After getting there at 8:30 PM and finally getting to Lane's at 10 PM we had to clean our own area and throw away stuff from the previous people including their food and beer We put food in and ordered buckets and three of us were charged different amounts for the exact same bucket. When we put in food the ticket and the beeper was given to us so when the beeper never went off we went to check for the food and realize they gave us the ticket they should've gave to the cook and never put our food in Three of us was giving two left or two right shoes to have to return three different times. I love the new look of the place but the experience was a nightmare last night and I would've thought after that huge mixup and huge wait- something nice would've been done to make up for it And oh my god not to mention it smelling like a sewer backup all night. I'm very disappointed in this place! Why treat loyal customers so poorly? I used to recommend this place until now. I suggested a group of us go for a game of bowling. The woman at the counter rudely stated that they close at 9 pm, and would not be giving us a lane. I was confused by if they close at 9 why can't a group play at 7:30pm ? Our group would have easily been done by 9:00pm. It seemed also that multiple employees were confused by this communication also. One of my group called and reserved two lanes from 8-10pm!! They make you wear a mask the entire time, even at the lanes. FLORENCE BOWL does not. They also make you write you name and number down, require you to use a plastic glove to go pick out your ball and constantly announce about the masks over the intercom. I actually can't believe all the horrible reviews for this place. The music was great, every employee was super friendly and the shoes didn't stink! I called ahead and asked if we could get a lane with bumpers for 7:45pm. The girl on the phone was really helpful and gave me all of the info I needed. It was a little confusing to figure out where the entrance was but we finally saw where the majority of the cars were parked, so we parked and went in there. The place was pretty clean and they had newer vending machines that weren't that pricey - a bottled water was only $1.00, most places charge $1.50 or more. We bowled 2 games and ran about 10 minutes past closing time on our second game. The employees were super nice about the whole "we're closed" thing. We turned back in our shoes and left and all of the employees gave us sincere thanks for coming genuine smiles. They are pretty family-friendly - I brought my 2-year-old daughter for her first time bowling and she had a blast. I've definitely been to nicer, newer bowling alleys in California, but as far as Cincinnati is concerned this was the cleanest and friendliest I've been to. We will definitely be back! read more

Bowling here is awesome! It's a THURSDAY night and not that busy. How could it be, they have two floors. This bowling alley is all non smoking. We haven't been here for years. I had to stop bowling for awhile because I couldn't bear taking my kids into a smoke filled place to have fun. They have arcade games, snack machines and some pretty cool music "oldies". They do serve alcohol. They do have an attached bar/ restaurant mainly used on Friday and Saturday night and for parties. You can always order things from the bar like nachos and pretzels, whatever alcohol. They have combo specials available during specific hours.example: midnight bowl 11-2:30a.m plus shoes for about $10. You could go to their website and buy a two person summer pass for $26. The kids can bowl two games free whenever the adults are bowling. What a GREAT deal! I'm so excited about this summer pass! If you're ready for some good clean family fun this is the place. Wow...I generally don't give low ratings, but Super Bowl earned this one! I might have enjoyed it if I had gone when I was 16, but as an adult Super Bowl is a giant disappointment. Okay seriously...this place is like walking into the early 90's. That's generally not a terrible thing (I personally really enjoyed the 90's) however it seems everything here is actually FROM the 90s and hasn't been replaced/cleaned since. The attendants are beyond rude and clearly don't know the first thing about customer service. Now...I do imagine they get their fair share of angry patrons due to the fact that at 11:30 the bar pretty much shuts down. That's when you are only allowed one tiny dixie cup cocktail per person. I mean as an adult...I like to drink whilst I bowl. That's virtually impossible after 11:30 (who goes to the bowling alley early?!). From the old school equipment, poor customer service and atrocious music I was unable to find anything 'SUPER' about Super Bowl accept maybe seeing it in the rear view mirror. read more

Several of us went to Super Bowl and we had the misfortune of both our rented lanes not working along with several others on the lower level. After about half an hour ( while their crew was working on it) several other lanes opened up. One member of our party went to the desk to enquire how much longer it would take and if we could possibly be moved to 2 other lanes. He was treated very rudely with a sharp retort that they'd rather not! With no apology and/ or maybe a statement of we'll see what we can do. Everyone in our party was very patient and waited longer, then another member went up to enquire. The answer was they'd be willing to give us our money back. Then possibly management or another employee let us know they will move us to other lanes. If staff from Super Bowl erlanger reads this, I want them to know we are directing this only to the cashier in the red with a ponytail. She needs training on customer skills and should never be in a position that requires courtesy to the public. Shame on her. I give this one star because we did have fun after they finally rectified the situation. However, we will never go back to the Erlanger location. read more

I confess that I own my own bowling ball, it's the curse of briefly dating an avid bowler and considering joining a league. We never organized enough for that but for a period of six months I spent a lot of Tuesdays in Erlanger trying to figure out how to will my bowling ball into a hook to catch the split. Super bowl one of several large bowling alleys in the tri-state. call ahead of time for specials and to avoid league night since it can be nearly impossible to get a lane. I don't recommend any menu item for morning bowling but after a few pitchers of beer I recommend all the menu items. The staff is very friendly and smoking is still allowed. read more

After being told that our lane would be ready in 30 mins we ordered food and waited. We ordered chicken nuggets which costs $5.50 thinking we would get enough to share.
