Unfortunately, our experience with the staff really left a sour taste in our mouths. The server helping us seemed bothered when we asked if we could sample something before purchasing and kept making comments about us asking to try the products. "If I give everyone a sample then what? No business" ... LOOL WHAT? My fiance was genuinely trying to pick something out and wanted to sample a flavor before deciding, but the staff member completely ignored him and made us feel unwelcome. We had every intention of purchasing a good amount to take home, but because of the attitude and lack of hospitality, we ended up only getting a couple of pieces and leaving. (I regret spending any money here) The products and ambiance were lovely, but customer service really matters, especially when you're trying to support a business. We left disappointed because this could have been such a nice experience.

I got the fit bagel: egg whites, avocado, tomato, black pepper, and added turkey. Just okay. Not the most flavorful. I get that I chose something lean/healthy but it was nothing to write home about. My sister got Uova Benedetto: poached egg, prosciutto, pesto, provolone on focaccia. Decent. Also nothing to write home about. The bagels themselves were just okay. It's hard to find good bagels on the west coast but Philz honestly tasted better. Service was okay. They're friendly if you're a regular and not so much if you aren't... It's a busy place though. Kinda cramped when they're busy. So we walked to get smoothies while waiting for our food. I'd come back to try their coffee or pizza since those items seemed more highly rated. But I'm not running to come back.

They are the best and this one is no exception Flavors - I love the variety and nothing said "balsamic vinegar" or "spiced goat cheese." Don't get me wrong. LBC has very unique flavors. After 4 samples and fun conversation with the staff, I ultimately settled on a trio of: - Banana King Cone. It has soy, gluten, and nuts. But this might be the best banana ice cream I've had because it doesn't taste artificially banana-ey. Organic banana ice cream loaded with chocolate coated sugar cone pieces and roasted peanuts. - Biscuits and Jam. Stone fruit jam swirled into vanilla ice cream with toasted biscuit chunks. - Saltine Dream. Organic vanilla ice cream loaded with caramelized saltine crackers dipped in chocolate and a rich fudge swirl. The banana ice cream was the best I've had, but my favorite in the flavor trip was the saltine Dream. Excellent flavor with excellent texture. Winner of the night. Recommend this place! They have their own parking lot. Limited outside seating. Super friendly staff. So glad my flight was delayed so I could explore.

Everyone was super kind, the scoops were generous, and the space itself was nice and spacious. There isn't really seating inside, but there are a couple of tables outside. As we were leaving, my boyfriend's sister accidentally dropped her cup, and they were so sweet about helping her get another scoop. We can't wait to come back! It's so close to us, and I can't believe it took us this long to finally try it.

We saw how large the scoops were on other customers' orders so we each decided on one scoop in a bowl. They have various cone options and waffle bowls if desired. There were quite a few young people working hard in the little enclosed kitchen. We ordered and picked up outside at the window. I was dying for an ice cream sandwich but theirs featured oreos as the cookie so I passed. Hubby got vanilla ice cream, his go to flavor, and i tried the blueberry cobbler. His scoop was a little larger than mine, so that was a bit annoying. He enjoyed his vanilla. The blueberry cobbler was divine; the vanilla was swirled with a good amount of blueberry that tasted fresh. The "cobbler" bits were pieces of sugar cookie, which were not bad but not much flavor, just sugary. There were crumbles as well as little cookie bits. We agreed they offer a quality product and a good sized serving for the price. I would return to try some of the other flavors!
