My wife and I explored having a pool installed earlier this year and found Pinnacle. We read the online reviews, as one does before undertaking such a big project, but after meeting Chase and hearing about the new franchise owners and the changes they've undergone, we pushed forward. Chase was extremely helpful in the process. From design to completion he was engaged in the process and answered any questions. Our project manager was Adrian, who was also engaged and kept us up to date on status. They broke ground in early July and we officially wrapped up about a week ago. Overall things moved much quicker than expected and we couldn't be happier with our pool. We wanted simple but well built and the team delivered. I refuse to do this because of how great the pinnacle team has been in this huge investment in our lives. #1 I was not bribed or offer anything compensation for writing this review. Just an honest guy that has received honest and standup work with a great product. Product we receive: 15x30 pool with 8 person hot tube, two water falls and structure. Pool time line signed contract on Nov14th 2024, Dig was completed Nov 21st 2024 and finished product was on Jan 26th 2025. Chase the designer: helped us design a pool that was most kid friendly for our three boys and cared tremendously about safety, he was able to bring particle function and simplicity to our aesthetic wants in his awesome design. Many other pool companies we talked to cared more about $$$$ and did not coach us to design around the now and the future of the design for our family. Chase was best characterized by; honest, patient, meticulous and deliberate with his communication and business acume. Adrian Project Manager: This guy did not stop when I was not happy. If I felt things weren't going as planned he walked me through what would happen next and that I could change or stop it at any moment. Some of the subcontractors were better than others and as I would discuss with him issues or problems he would address them immediately without hesitation. All items would be addressed next day or on the spot! Adrian was engaged with every step of the process and was honest when things would've been "extra" or outside the contract we wanted that would cost more money for little to no reason. He was able to keep us on time and on budget with no extra fees through the entire project. On Jan 26th when the project was done I looked at Adrian and said well I guess that's it my man..... he said no sir I will be in the neighborhood and stop by when I can to check on the pool. Bottom line great people at pinnacle pools now. We have had friends in the past to use the old Fortworth office that were not happy. They have really shown me and my family there is new management in town and they are dedicated to making amazing pools last for years to come. Update: they have come back twice since completing the pool to fix a GFCI outlet and a POOL heater start issue after propane was installed all under warranty as promise. We interviewed with 5 different pool companies before picking Pinnacle Pools and Spa. We could find negative reviews for all five of them. We also heard nightmares of neighbors with liens on their homes from small mom and pop operations. We almost decided not to build a pool at all and just say screw it. Mr. Weaver really impressed us during the initial consultation. He was the one to beat, and no one did. We have started our pool project and couldn't be happier with how things are coming along. We really feel bad for the people who are dealing with the old owners and really hope they get their money back. I used pinnacle pools for my pool and hot tub. It was the best decision in could have made. The pool prices were great, way better than my other quotes. Also the pool is beautiful. What I really appreciated is that the team communicated great throughout the whole process and gave me updates throughout the whole process. A pool is a big investment and it was great to have a team that felt like partners in the project not just "contractors" or "pool builders". I worked with Zach and Dale and they were both fantastic from the start of the design throughout completion of the pool. I seriously cannot recommend them enough. At first things weren't great with Pinnacle pools because of the old owners Aaron and Kyle Franco. They left us high and dry many times. After paying them $70,000. They filed bankruptcy in December of 2023. Our pool wasn't complete. I was in disbelief. I thought Aaron was a good person turns out they don't pay their contractors. Thankfully the new owner Dubal came in and helped finish our pool. The project manager was easy to deal with as well. Chase always did what he said he would do. They are good people and have a proven track record. I would give pinnacle a chance owner the new ownership. After11 months of disappointment by Aaron Franco, Kyle Franco, Ron Garcia, Brandon Gibbs and Pinnacle Pools & Spas; the new franchise owners just advised today that they cannot plaster the pool due to cracks surfacing in the gunite. It appears the gunite shell and surrounding concrete deck are breaking in half due to shoddy work all around. Update to my review based on Kyle P response: Kyle P, Porter? All due respect, are you a new owner or are you part of the Franchise in whole, not this specific Franchise location? We have been given info, finally, that your Franchise "took" the franchise location from the Franco brothers because of their debt and simply changed heads incentivizing the new owners. Your franchise had no knowledge they were that far in debt? Something happened for you to release them? Does your Franchise not have something in place to help take care of existing clients when something like this takes place or do you award a new "company", LLC, and screw all your paying clients? *You're response is a slap in the face and not caring at all, pay you more money, don't think so!* DBA is using your Franchise name, you vet them and allow criminals. The Franco brothers have operated under both Premier and Pinnacle, both belonging to the same Franchise. This is unethical and doesn't even seem legal, however I'm not a attorney but will seek that counsel. My review stays the same, do not hire Pinnacle, period! Do your research, it's a trail and hard to navigate through all the Franchise changes and deception. We're paying the price for that now! I cannot even give this company a rating its that bad. Pinnacle Pools & spas of fort worth, Kyle & Aaron Franco are thief's! We signed Oct 2022, almost 16 months later we still have no pool. It's about 1/2 completed. They lied to us over and over since the start. They said they were inspecting and per our home video they never showed up. We bypassed them and spoke to their manufacturers for our supplies and confirmed they weren't ordering our items. We had their sub contractors showing up unannounced to look at the project because the Franco brothers were not responding to them. We had 3 of their subs tell us they owed thousands and in fact they hadn't paid them for our job address and the work done. We have paid the Franco brothers over 100k, only owing 11k left on our term, financed through Lyons. They haven't completed work from the last fund we released. In mid Jan 2024 Aaron Franco stopped responding to us. End of Jan 2024 a man was walking around our property unannounced. We approached he and he introduced himself as Dale with Pinnacle Pools Dallas and said they took over the FTW location, assured us they would finish our pool. Walked the project for a punch list. We went through picking out new supplies, ect. Again, our hopes up that this nightmare would finally be resolved. This week Dale stated he was scheduling the next phase. Later that same day someone else named, Chase, called us to say they couldn't help anymore unless we wanted to pay additional beyond contract. Keep in mind they were in breach of contract back in Aug 2023! Then we were told we would have to talk with the owner, Duvall, in which he hasn't responded. We have not been told anything in regards to any changes with this company other then the info given to us willingly by contractors and other customers having similar issues. When we were sold the contract we were told they were the largest pool builder and that as long as an office was open the warranty and work would be guaranteed and honored. Well we have found out now that's a lie. So they false advertise to sign contracts. In our case as soon as the contract was signed and finances secured the customer service they faked in the beginning showed. Ron, their CM and Kyle were confrontational to the point we told them they were not allowed on our property any longer. Aaron had a better attitude but apparently the same character and work ethic. At this point we are out 110k, financing for the next 30 years on a pool that us and our 8 kids dreamed of, we have a stagnant hole in our ground and no more funds to finish up. I pray these people have it in them to do the right thing. I could go on and on about all the issues and other customers of theirs that I've been in contact with that share a similar experience whether their pool is finished or not. I've also learned this is not the Franco brothers 1st company so please do your research. They might look ok on paper as they did to us when we researched but ill tell you from 1st hand experience its because they groom their reviews. I made a negative comment on their facebook page in Jan, asking them to finish their current customers pools before they start advertising to take care of new customers. After that i couldn't find their page on Facebook but from other log ins i could. So they blocked me. Recent pic shows no mastic, plaster, equipment, gas lines run, cool decking...all missing. We have a shell/gunite with incorrect measurements, slide finally, disgusting water, their trash, and a incorrect and bad tile/rock job. read more

Do not use Pinnacle Pools & Spas or Premier Pools & Spas. They are the same Franchise. Which means it's a Franchise and only the Franchisee is responsible for work. Other Locations or even the corporate office will do nothing in regards of any contract you sign. They will not even respond, kick the current owner out and put in another owner and say you signed with that owners LLC not them. Our pool, which was financed upfront through a 3rd part Financial institutions who did the payouts at the individual phases, took over about 2 years and was not finished. After the owner received the last large payment (never used on our pool) they were forced out by the Franchisor/Corporate and our pool remained half done until we hired another company to finish it. We were out 45K and were never notified by Corporate/Franchisor that this had happened. The old owner who was forced out claimed bankruptcy. When we contacted new owner and corporate, corporte never responded and refused to respond. The new owner said his LLC was not the LLC at the time of Pinnacle Pools & Spas Fort Worth so they couldn't help. The old owner claimed he couldn't help because of a NDA. The warrnty is only though the owner so if that Locations owner goes under or sells or closes you warranty is gone. Do not trust them. They did the same thing to the Dallas location and that old owner who declared Bankruptcy looks to be co-owner/manager of the Tyler location. read more

After finding out the same group from Dallas was taking over the Fort Worth Franchise, I did my own digging. When my neighbors had said Chase was the only person from Pinnacle to respond after the previous group shut down, and did everything in his power to assist them, I decided to give Chase a call. I'm in sales, I'm not looking to be sold, shoot me straight, give me direct info...that's what Chase did. Chase and Adrian communicated thoroughly through the process. They didn't run from issues caused by contractors. They met and beat the deadline they made for themselves beyond the contract. They didn't try to upsell, or push things we didn't need. We ended up with an amazing pool and spa under our original budget. Don't let old reviews and the previous franchisee's mistakes impact your decision to have them build your pool. Do not recommend Pinnacle Pools & Spa Fort Worth! They have made building our dream pool (Dig day July 2022) a complete nightmare. We got a quote that the Franco brothers stated they would honor for a year. Lies. We went 5 day prior to the year and they stated the cost of supplies had increased due to the pandemic so after we came to an agreement on an increased price we then began to live the nightmare. The guys that placed the stones did a sloppy job and did return to try and fix around the spa and stone. They sprayed the wrong color of sundeck and they actually did fix it after I called them. The plaster guys covered a return line that we think is what is causing our pool to leak. We began to have to fill the pool daily if not every other day. Long story short we had the guys go out twice and dig where we had already layed down grass. Now we have been waiting for over 3 months for answer from Aaron Franco to see when they guy can go look a third time since according to Aaron the prior guys were no longer with them. Our pump also began to leak and when I brought it to his attention, he referred me to the warranty people. In our contract it states we will be granted an Ozone vacuum which he has not given to us and said he would write a check that he has tried to send 3 times. I lost count of how many times he stated he was sick or got covid because that was the reason to ignoring my calls and messages. I am not sure how they are continuing to offer to build pools when they can't even finish or take care of customers that are still needing things that need attention. I did bring to his attention being a big company how is he not able to leave someone in charge of the business when he is ill or unable to answer? If we ever have to build a pool I will make sure not to use them. Two of my co workers had a horrible experience as well with them. Fill day was in September 2022 & we were not home. It was random when the workers would show up & the guys left the water running and the pool overfilled. Thankfully my father in law stopped by the house and was able to close the hose.
