Came in here with my mom to check out a front entry door. The whole process was smooth. We had to wait a few weeks for our door to come in (they had a door coming in that was perfect for us) throughout those few weeks, Nikos kept us updated and made sure to answer all of our questions. Wow!! The only regret I have is that I took so long to order my door. The wait was painfully long (6-8 weeks) but I am so happy with this decision. As a huge bargain hunter, this purchase makes my heart happy. I went to several local companies that offer "free" installation with the door and this was still about half the cost. I was concerned about finding someone qualified to install such a heavy door (don't want it to fall on me when I answer the door after all) so I went to another local iron door showroom to talk to some of their workers and was able to negotiate a $300 install from guys that literally do this all day long. So you could try that The delivery was a breeze. Pinkys called me after speaking with the delivery company. Apparently I had missed several calls. I didn't expect Pinkys to put so much effort into coordinating the delivery. The door came sooner than anticipated and the delivery guy helped us unload it from the truck. I read several reviews that stated the delivery guy didn't want to help; didn't have that issue at all. He even helped us move it into the garage. It was huge and very heavy but VERY well packaged. Plus we got scrap wood from the crate it came in to add to our collection Very pleased. read more

Just stopped by with my husband and was disappointed to find they are closed. I can understand it's a holiday weekend but we called first and the office hours listed were still 11-2p on Saturday. We even called back when we got to the showroom to double check and spoke to someone from their answering service. This person too was under the impression Pinky's was open. There was a delay with our order due to a packaging error and waiting for back-ordered door hardware to come in stock, but Pinky's was on top of all the communication. Beautiful door, HORRIBLE installation NIGHTMARE! Go ahead and buy your door from Pinky's but DO NOT use the installation company they recommend. I've been dealing with this fiasco for 3 weeks now. Extol Construction did not fully disclose all fees up front and now I discover that the door is not hung straight and the finish is scraping off of the frame. Pinky's is trying to do the right thing but they are falling short. Again, the door is beautiful but find your own contractor to install. read more

Updated review: I initially gave Pinky's a one star review due to an issue with delivery expectations and the customer service I received as a result. I am updating that rating to four stars because we were able to sort it out satisfactorily, and Pinky's did go the extra mile to get our products delivered within the communicated lead times. My contractor has unpackaged and inspected the products, and he is impressed with the quality and mentioned they are comparable to other more well known steel window and door manufacturers. The process of getting the CAD designs right required a little back and forth, so I would recommend alotting for some extra time in the process depending on how many products you are ordering - we purchased multiple windows, doors and bi-folds. I will update this post with pictures of the finished product once they are installed, but thus far, we are very happy with the quality of the products we received. read more

My wife and I just purchased our home and one of the many projects we had was to replace the rear door to the backyard. We needed a custom size door with a custom feature.... A doggy door for our very spoiled dog (literally the main reason for this purchase). Being that it was a custom size and wasn't something that we could just go to the local Home Depot for, we had searched for months for the perfect door. I went to check out their showroom in LA and needless to say it didn't take long for me to be completely convinced that we had found what we were looking for. Ryan showed me around and made my decision very easy. I told him exactly what I needed and he made it happen. Process was super easy and communication with Ryan were always quick and accommodating. Once our door arrived, I decided to install it myself with some help. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself but that's just how I am. The door is heavy but we managed to make it happen.... I had to call Ryan for some pointers and he was super informative and I couldn't be happier. Door floats on it's hinge and opens and closes effortlessly. We met Dionne and Ryan at the Home Show in Salt Lake City. The were very nice and helpful. Their Iron Doors were half the price of the competition, so we decided to order our door for our dream home. They told us the door would be in the end of July. So when they called and told me the door came in early, approx 2 weeks early, and they would get it shipped to Utah that night, I was so excited!! The door showed up 2 days later. Unfortunately, the door had severe damage due to the handling of the shipping company. I was so upset!! I thought, well this is what I get for ordering a door that's half the price. I called Dionne, expecting them to blow me off. But actually they did just the opposite. They jumped right on it. They contacted the shipping company and handled everything. They wanted to ship the door back to LA, to make sure it was fixed right. But I really didn't feel good about it being shipped again. So Dionne went out of his way, to locate a local Iron Door shop to get the door repaired in Utah, just to make me happy. They dealt with the door shop and the shipping company on the repairs and who was paying for what. I didn't have to do anything! Everything can't always go perfect.
