I was referred to this nail salon. I'm new here so really wanted to find somewhere I felt could execute what I wanted. I was able to set an appointment very easy. The owner pinky serviced me and I have to say she was the sweetest person I've ever met. She did such a good job. Durning my appointment I was offered a drink. I also had a chance to listen to great music/ watch tv while there. I did end up getting my nails, toe polish and an eyebrows waxed. The salon is running a 10% discount. Not sure how long for but it's worth paying them a visit. I can't wait to go back! read more

Everyone is pretty good there for acrylic nails. The only thing is the prices seem to vary by person sometimes. Even the same person has charged me differently for the same thing. I also don't like that most people get upset if you say you don't like something and then seem to get a higher bill after that. It used to be consistent and more friendly staff. read more

Took my 6 year old daughter to get a pedicure. Picked this place bc their website said children's pedicure was $15. Mine was listed as $35. They took us right away, no other customers were having their toes done. Mine was just ok and took about 20 min. My daughter took about 10 min. They didn't put us under a dryer which was odd to me. When I went to pay they charged us $60 for both and I questioned it, but they told me the kids was $25. I was not happy. I went to my car and pulled the website back up and went inside to show them their website showed $15 for kids. She told me it wasn't updated, sorry. No refund offfered. I did not see any price list inside the salon. I regret not just paying $50 and walking out instead of handing over $60. Will NEVER go back there. read more

I have given this place 4 chances now and all I can say is never come to any of their nail salons I've gone to the one in Mays Landing and I've gone to the one in egg Harbor Township. The prices are absolutely ridiculous and they none of their nail techs are good with people. The last time I went there I wanted to get a fill done with a design. I told the guy I wanted coffin shape and he said he couldn't do the design I wanted but he could do coffin so I said no problem. I found an easier one for him after him telling me three times he couldn't do any of the other designs I wanted when he started on my nails I went on my phone and when I looked up, he was making my nail shape almond and very short. I looked at him and said oh are we not doing coffin shape and he looked at me and said oh you wanted coffin and I said yes I did I told you I did he then goes well I made them almond can we just go with that now? I then said no because I didn't want them that short nor did I want them that shape when he called over his aunt I'm guessing she's the manager of that location. She got very rude with me told me I had to pay for a full set, and when I said I was not paying for a full set because this was on them She then got upset with me, turned off her light and walked away. The only one that was helpful in this whole entire experience of being in a rude and unprofessional salon was the receptionist she was the only one trying to help me out and figure out a way to make my nails the way I wanted them. I'm not one to complain but after 4 bad experiences with this nail salon I had to leave a review, spending $90 on nails that barely have a design on them and the fact that I always have to ask them to make sure my nails are all the same length and $56 on a gel pedicure nothing else no scrub no nothing. It's absolutely ridiculous I will never recommend this place to anyone. I hope you guys save your money. read more

Pros- They took me immediately although i didn't have an appointment and place has nice vibe. Cons - No TVs. I recently moved from Monmouth County and am used to having TVs with subtitles on. Kind of boring with no TVs. Also, price was crazy. Up north, I paid $70 for Gel mani/ Gel pedi. Here they charged me $85. I would be okay with $85, but after 3 days, my nails started to chip and peel. That should never happen with gels. Also, my nails are soft and I can bend them. I think they are using cheap base and top coats - why else would a gel chip and peel and my nails not be rock hard? I don't think I will go back based on the other reviews I read. read more

So disappointed in my experience here. DO NOT GO HERE. Go out of your way to go to Pinky's in Northfield near Pep Boys or Pinky's in Linwood. Or RIO NAILS across the street. I came here in a pinch to remove acrylics and get a Pedi. Simple as that. I am giving 2 stars for the girl in the front being so nice. But for this place being new, it is not clean or tidy. There's stuff everywhere, powder remains from the previous client on the station I was placed - station 13. my pedicure was less than 10 mins. She pumiced and massaged for under 5 seconds. No place to dry your toes after so make sure you bring flip flops and no other sandals. Another woman was getting her nails done by the guy next to my station and he was a complete asshole to her the entire time. I am all for supporting small asian owned businesses, but they should be ashamed of this "new location." Do not expect the spa experience here they want you in and out. Which is fine if you want that but even for me in a pinch - left a bad taste in my mouth. Will not be returning. read more

This was my 2nd appointment with Ray (the manager) & I couldn't be more disappointed. After BRAGGING about his skills as a nail tech, these are the nails I had to leave with. I showed him the reference photo & he said he has done this design MANY times! I asked for black nails with neon pink slime. He told me white would look better, even though that's not what I asked for. The white polish cured weird under the UV light leaving bubbles & bumps which Ray acknowledged but didnt fix... When it came time for the design, he was more worried about the other two customers waiting for their appointment. He did one nail & told them he would be done in 5 minutes? when he had my other nine nails to do. He rushed to finish my set & left me with the UGLIEST nails I've ever had. Yesterday was my first visit at Pinky's. Tyler ended up being my nail tech, and did a fantastic job. He's by far given me the neatest application, out of all the other salons I've visited in the area. The salon is well modeled. Stylish, neat, and modern. The check in will be easy for future visits, as they have an iPad available for efficiency and ease. They also took all the proper precautions for safety, during our current COVID-19 pandemic. Hand sanitizers, masks, dividers, etc. The location is convenient, and stands next to a Starbucks and shopping centers across the street. I foresee myself going to Pinky's from now on, and honestly can't recommend the nail salon enough. read more

I was extremely disappointed the first time I went, but it wasn't until after when I was sitting in the sun that I realized the technician who "dipped" my nails had not cleaned underneath. There were globs of buildup from the dust. I returned and he fixed it, but he treated it like I was being ridiculous! My second visit a few weeks later, I requested someone else. This technician did an amazing job, but the problem is, as is with all of them, they want to rush so they can do more customers. I don't call trying to remove the dip or acrylics by prying them off the nail and taking two or more layers of good nail with it, caring for your customers nail health. I won't go back! read more

Idk how everyone else is In this salon but I do tell u she's the best my nails last 4 weeks or so If need be but I like to go every 2 1/2 weeks and she does amazing designs whatever I come with as far as pictures for a reference she can always replicate that on my acrylics she is super sweet and great customer service and going to continue to be my only nail tech I go to thank you pinky's !!! read more

Definitely recommend Victoria or pinky as they do great work however when you have an appointment, make sure that when you check in they hear you very clearly because I went there and I told him I had an appointment and two girls took me and I just assumed the girl had forgotten about me or got busy and the service was just very average, but Victoria and pinky do excellent work other than this my nails look great by Victoria. Not coming back. The pedicure technicians are excellent, but the manicure technicians are not. Dip powder was not applied with precision that it should have had . The technician I had rushed me through the whole thing. She brought out a color I didn't request and when I told her, she said we don't have this color you want. She rushed me through picking another color. I told her I wanted a lighter color and I felt like I didn't have enough time to actually find a color I wanted. I told her I am the one paying for this and you should have more patience with me. She starts putting the lotion on before my nails are even dry and then says I know what I'm doing. Instead of being defensive, listen to the customer, who is receiving the service so they can get what they want. If I wanted the nail technician to make decisions for me I wouldn't be paying to get my nails done. Nails are supposed to be customized based off of a Customers preference. When I requested to have dip instead of the acrylic, she didn't do a soak off. Instead she sawed off all the acrylic with the electric nail drill and my nails got hot and painful. When I said you don't do soak offs here? She said I don't think you need a soak off. If you don't want to listen to customers why are you doing nails? read more

Gave this place a second chance and it still disappointed me. This first time I went it was for a pedicure. It was one of the worse experiences I've had. The shop manager Ray did my pedicure. He was all over the place yelling and talking loud to other employees. Running back and forth. He rushed my pedicure so much that I don't even think the bowl filled up all the way. I sat longer for dry my toes then I did for the whole pedicure. There were no dryers so I had to sit there and wait for my toes to dry in a chair. Ray was more worried about making himself seen and heard then he was about customer service. I decided to go back and attempt to have my nails done in dip polish. To start off the tech Kevin and another girl next to him wanted to argue with me that my nails were not currently dip polish. Which in essence they were. He then began to continuously electric file my nails down instead of soaking them. As I attempted to tell him how my nails were done with dip currently and what I'd like to have done Kevin and this young lady continued to argue with me over my nails. I ONLY went here again because my regular girl was booked through the weekend and I had a baby shower to attend and needed them done ASAP. Kevin did eventually soak the original dip off my nails and did a new color dip on them as I requested. Another issue is the choices of dip colors are very limited. I chose two different colors and neither were available. This salon has only been opened a few months and already were short on supplies. Needless to say my nails chipped and peeled not even a week later. I will not be returning to this Pinky's location. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

The salon itself is beautiful and clean. The service, however, was well below my expectations. The technician spent more time on his phone then caring to my nails. Pedicure did not include a moisturizer massage. At the conclusion of my dip manicure I was told to put the lotion on my hands myself. The polish on my toes is not very professional looking and there was no effort to fix a broken nail during my dip manicure which resulted in one very lopsided nail. In town visiting and needed a fill, this salon is near my Moms house so I decided to give them a try. When I walked in it was packed so I thought I'd have to make an appointment and come back. The receptionist was very nice, said they could take me in 20 mins (actually ended up being less than that). Tran did my nails and he was meticulous and paid attention to details. I prefer simple, neutral nails and he did a classic ombre manicure that is honestly one of the best I've ever had. I will definitely check them out again next time I'm in town and highly recommend. I went in as a walk in for an eyebrow wax. They were super friendly and took me right to the back to have it done. They were really busy, most chairs full of people getting their nails and pedicures done. The customers all seemed happy and relaxed. Well that was weird. Pedicure was short and pretty sure we got ripped off at the checkout. We both had gift cards from another location I'm assuming, so the pedicure here was $7 more?? And when I gave 2 gift cards I had, I wasn't sure of the amount other than 1 being $25. After some waiting, I was told I was "all good, cards covered the balance". When I asked what was on the cards he hesitated and said "one was $25 and one was $7"??? Like seriously? Lol The card was never used yet. Since I'm not a problem starter... Booked an appointment with my mother to get my nails done before I went back to college. The nail technician was amazing and very sweet. My nails were done very nicely. However, I asked to sit next to my mother who came in 5 min after me. The nail tech said yes very sweetly. However the woman who was managing the desk and the place would not let my mother sit next to me and sat her across the room. I again asked because I do not see my mother for weeks to months at a time and also live 1 1/2 hours away (explaining this to the desk lady). It did not matter who did my nails to me. After sitting on my own for 2 hours while there was an open station next to me and my mother the ENTIRE TIME. I came here the first time and Tran was wonderful! The second time, Tran was busy which I was okay. I got helped by this guy who is all tatted up but oh my gosh he was literally the worse!!!!!! He kept yelling and walking away, so unprofessional! He caught and attitude with a client who was waiting to be helped. Then he went on by asking me why I wanted to sit with Tran.
