Came in on a Saturday midday. I had an appointment. Place was pretty empty but the weather was rainy and snowy so that may have been an issue. Upon walking it you have to check in on a computer type device. It was confusing because we had two appointments. And it only let you check in one on the phone number. And there was no going back. Then you had to wash your hands in the back. All a bit annoying. There is a very large selection of colors to choose from. I chose a very dark blue with a light blue sparkle on top. Love! My pedicure girl was Crystal and she was awesome!!! She really took the care and effort on my feet. My nails looked amazing after too. Payment is only cash and that sucks. read more

I've tried a lot of nail salons between Vineland and Millville, this is by far the best and most consistent I've been to! They're very sanitary and clean, have a very good variety to choose from and it doesn't matter who I've seen, I've walked out happy. Even a regular manicure lasted me a week and a half before chipping- other salons I can't get dip or gel to last that long sometimes. They are cash only HOWEVER their ATM doesn't have a charge, so it's convenient and a good way for me to get cash anyway! read more

They will take appointments but not credit cards (cash only w/ ATM at nearby bank). I didn't like that despite my asking they not use a drill to remove my polish it was insisted. So the quality of work and the service has always been fine here, I am just wondering about their pricing. I was charged $45 for a full set of acrylic nails with gel polish. No designs or anything, short square nails with a rounded edge. Call came back two weeks later for a fill - acrylic with gel. I was charged $40 for the fill. How can a fill be only $5 less? On the pricing wall it said a fill started at $30 and up. It's just very frustrating when salons are not upfront about the pricing. Happy Nails is THE BEST. I have never gotten a pedi to last as long as one from Happy Nails. I went for the millionth time today and was so pleased (as always). They have so many colors to choose from and the staff is so great. Everyone is always so sweet and does a great job. I also got SNS done here for the first time today. I've had it done elsewhere, but Benny did such a great job! I'll never get it anywhere else now. My nails look amazing. He is so meticulous and sweet. Benny made my nails look so natural and was horrified at how they looked from the place up by my school. Thank you for fixing them in time for graduation, Benny!!! I just wanted to be square the male artist told me if I didn't like them I would get a discount. I did get to paint my nails and asked me if I was satisfied i point out what was wrong with my nails again. i went to check out and asked about my discount and was told I wasn't getting one or my nails fixed. This place has REALLY went downhill. I was there a few years back and it was nice. This place ruined my girl time with my Mom. Which we have very little of since We live 18 hours apart. My Mom chose a color and only asked for a heart design on two fingers. And she got a shitty paint job and no hearts at all. ( he asked when done if it was ok. I said, " just be done." Because they kept getting worse. Then employee a were arguing over client and tips the whole time. ---mind u my Mother and I are on seperate sides of the room for 2hours... Of the 2 hours an 15 Minutes we were there. My pedi took less then 15 minutes. The lady who done my nails rushed them. Then told Me she had the same color as my toes in gel and I must get it. ( and u must Because they don't have the light to set regular polish) so I say ok. My nails and toes are not even in the same Ballpark of color! I have been going for a while, though I don't go ever 2-3 weeks as I have medical issues, the prices change every time. I got a full set of acrylic and price 28.00, they charged me 33.00 as I wanted rounded nails. My nails have always been done round and never got charged! Never touched my cuticles and had to switch staff because she doesn't know how to do the actual acrylic. Missed half my nails when polishing. So disappointed will never go back read more

Made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure for a Friday afternoon a few weeks ago. I made sure to make an appointment because Fridays are usually busy at nail salons. I arrived there a few minutes early. The salon is very large, and it was rather busy, even though there were about ten technicians working in the salon on that day. No one greeted me, and there was no receptionist at the front counter, so I took a seat in their waiting area. I waited for about a half hour while a person that looked like either the manager or owner, walked back and forth several times without greeting me or other people walking in. She made eye contact, but made no effort to greet people. Finally, after trying to make eye contact with several technicians in the hope of being noticed, I got up and walked over to the nearest technician, to let her know that I had an appointment, and had been waiting for a half hour. That technician walked over to the person that I had assumed was the manager or owner to tell her that I had and appointment and had been waiting for half and hour. The manager looked at me and said nothing and continued what she was doing. That same technician, that i had initially approached, signaled for me to come back to the pedicure section, and told another technician in the pedicure section to work on me next. While I was seated the chair waiting for my designated technician, that same manager/owner that had ignored me and other customers, got up from what she was doing, gave me a mean look and then knocked a small trash can over, that was near my feet. In retaliation for what, I have no idea. The technician that did finally work on my nails, Tina, was very friendly and nice and did a good job. Also the large group of employees seemed friendly to the regulars. I guess Happy Nails is not interested in obtaining new customers. They don't have to worry. I have decided not to make purchases in places where employees, owners or managers are rude. Even though I live around the corner, I won't be returning. It's not like there is a shortage of nail salons in this area. read more

I was extremely disappointed with the service here. I wanted to treat my boyfriend and myself to mani pedis, so we figured we would give this place a try. They did not accept credit cards and we waited 30 minutes with three employees sitting around talking. Then when I finally got in the chair the water was cold and I felt rushed. The point of paying to get a pedicure is to be able to relax. They had one lady trying to do my nails and another at my feet, then they both got up because they had an appointment scheduled. So I sat there half way done waiting for someone to come finish. I had to take the foil off of my nails that they use to remove gel polish because my skin started to burn because they left me sitting there with them on.. clearly acetone isn't good for your skin. My boyfriend was shocked when they told us how much it was..$110 for two mani-pedis. He didn't even get his filed or polished! I asked the lady to put another coat on my nails because there was a color difference and she said only two coats... Then every person that was involved with my nails ran to the register expecting a tip.. yeah right I'm not tipping 6 people for a mani pedi that took two and a half hours...will not be going back! Just look at the pictures they made him bleed twice, left hang nails, didn't file, and half of my nails are hardly painted. read more

If I could give this place a negative star review I would. Went in for a pedicure and it was the WORST pedicure I have ever received. The lady was very curt and short. When she asked if I came there for my manicure I said no and explained I was out of town and visiting a good friend.Well she didn't like that answer. When she cleaned my cuticles she cut into the actual nail beds of my toes and almost all of them were angry, red and bleeding. I was flinching and saying ouch as she kept cutting but she didn't seem to get it. She only put the clear top coat on my left foot but not my right. And to top it all off, she charged me $40 instead of the $25 that was advertised. I was so mad I couldn't go back in to dispute without making a scene. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!! Ugh I hate doing this but this was probably the worst experience I've ever had. I was a walk in for a pedicure, the owner greeted me and said they would be with me as soon as they could. Totally understandable since it was right after a holiday. They set up my pedicure station and call me over. I'm far from picky but I know the difference between a good and bad pedicure. The water was luke warm and to make matters worse, I waited about another 10-15 minutes with my feet soaking...I was cold lol. A lady came rushing in the door, with her daughter and they both put their coats away and the lady came hurrying over to my station...sooo you're rushing in for me?! Sweet! I will not go into detail about my pedicure but lets just put it this way...I spent an hour in the chair for the actual "spa" part of the pedicure, flinched with a few "ouches" a handful of times, legs were dry as a bucket of sand when she used the exfoliating scrub...owowowowow...then had someone else polish my hideous, ROUNDED, jelly bean looking toe nails. Not to mention I paid full price. Look, if you're new, COOL, and if I'm your guinea pig, COOL...just let me know and at least offer a discount. I'm far from cheap but that's actual customer service. I would take a picture of my toes but I'd rather keep my socks ON. I even called to explain, not for money back or free/discounted services (because I do NOT want them) but to inform them of my experience so they can work with the new girl. And all they kept asking was when I wanted to come back for it to be fixed...um never. I will not be back. But my 2017 still rocks! The place is just not for me. read more
