I just moved to the area so I was really dreading looking for a new nail salon. Envy Nail Spa made me forget all of that the moment I walked in. They really made their salon look and feel the spa part. Granite counter tops at reception at the nail bar. Comfortable seating if you're waiting. A separate section where your nails dry, not crammed up against a nail tech's desk. There were a lot of pedi stations and everything was spotless. Both receptionists I spoke to were extremely friendly and welcoming and my nail tech, Annie, did a beautiful job. I got a gel fill. Every nail is the exact length and even. No bumps, no uneven ridges, she perfectly filed them to make my nails look natural. She was pleasant and I didn't feel like she was rushing through me to get to the next person. She showed pride in her work. At the end she did a little massage and moisturized my hands. It was a nice touch I wasn't expecting. The whole thing cost me $30. I used to pay more and get average work. I will definitely be back! Make sure you make an appointment if you can, they get pretty busy! read more

I honestly don't know what happened to this nail salon. I started going when they first opened and was nice nail salon. I was there in spring wasn't sure I go back they cut my cuticle so bad bleed for while. Decided go back two weeks ago and had women said her name was "Lee" kept telling me her name repeatedly. She gave me regular pedicure and dip manicure which what i always get. Long story short my side my foot were bone is bleed and powder dip nails polish on my fingers nails chipped two days later went back redid my nails but I definitely am done with salon. Sadly use be nice place. I've had other nail salons do much nicer work without issues I'll stick with them. And each time I've gone always new faces never use be that way. read more

I asked for a manicure and pedicure for my daughter, which came out great. I asked for a gel fill and a pedicure for myself. I thought the pedicure was great until I got home, and the polish started chipping all over and was missing color in spots all over. When I sat down for my gel fill, the woman seemed as if she had no idea what I was talking about. She insisted that i do acrylic nails, but i was adamant that I've been getting my nails done for 24 years, I hate acrylic and just wanted a gel fill like id asked for. She then showed me that there were two options for gel builder, different colors, but with a nail fix, she couldn't come up with a solution as to what to do and had to call over the manager. The manager offered a solution, which wasn't what I wanted at all. At this point id been there almost 2 hours and needed to leave for an appointment for my daughter. I had to leave with an unpainted set of nails because the tech couldn't figure out how to use the gel polish (that i didn't want) on my nails. In the car ride home, I noticed my nails were all uneven and the fill looked TERRIBLE. I ended up paying $139 + $30 tip for my daughter and I, paid for services I didn't get because i had to leave, and then when i got back home, had to go to a local nail salon to completely fix, level, and paint my nails. Which was another $40. Id never ever go back there nor would i recommend anyone else go there. read more

- [ ] i truly don't like leaving negative reviews however i'm fed up. at first the experience was good so i continued to schedule appointments i found annie and she shaped my nails the way i liked so i continued to request her. as per every nail salon i always had to wait 10 minutes past my appointment time however i patiently waited because i know this about nail salons. i switched from acrylic refill to just a manicure. my nails were so strong i was surprised as ive had acrylic all my life. they were fine. i chose to book an appointment with someone else bc i desperately need my nails done and when i arrived she was in the middle of receiving a pedicure... it seemed so unprofessional to me. the manicure was not worth the 40+ i spent. she didn't push back my cuticles and was clearly in a rush to get back to her pedi. i made sure my next appointment was with annie as i've always had a decent experience with her. a day after getting my nails done my middle finger nail cracked so i called twice and left a message but never heard back... instead of waiting for a response (which i didn't get) a few days later i just ripped the rest off. i go back today with annie and i was 15 minutes late as i confused my time so maybe she was annoyed about that not sure. i asked when checking in if she could still take me and i was assured yes. she asked if my nails were powder i said no, just a regular manicure with gel polish. she asked again and again i assured her no i only get gel polish. she continues to ask and tells me it's ok if it's powder to which i start to question myself and ask if powder is when you dip ur nails in the powder she says yes and i reconfirm for the 3-4 time all i got was gel polish and told her she's the one that last did my nails and ive been her client for almost a year... she refused to believe me it was so uncomfortable because there's no reason i have to lie, she said "it's too thick to be just gel polish" to which i respond "im not sure what to tell you but i didn't get dip or acrylic". it was at the beginning of my service and just set the tone. she still at this point refuses to believe me that she has to ask the receptionist what i last got.... the receptionist tells her "manicure with gel polish" to which she proceeds to ask her about my service history.. it was so bizzare to me. as i'm getting my polish on she kept forgetting to turn on the uv light which the first few times i understand but i kept having to remind her throughout the process. i let her know after the first coat that my index nail is literally breaking wnd if she can cut that part off.. she says she'll fix it. she didn't and just added 2 coats of base. i realize she didn't even push back my cuticles and missed steps for the manicure and still charged $40+ i got french so i get there's an added cost and i wouldn't mind paying that if the service was good, my results were good and she didn't harass me about my previous service. its been a few hours and my index nail of course is chipped and getting caught in everything.. my cuticles look atrocious...all my nails are different lengths but im more concerned about my curlicues. im not even going to bother reaching the salon to get my nails fixed as i haven't heard back from them in the past. i will no longer be a customer there as ive had issues for awhile. a few months back i also recommended my sister go so she booked an appointment with annie. when she arrived i guess they double booked her and had my sister waiting over 30+ minutes for an appointment with anyone because annie fully declined to take her as she was booked all day. my sister had the confirmation text for her appointment. hopefully they receive this feedback and chose to do better in the future. l read more

Recently moved to the area and this place was ridiculous. When I walked in, there was no one at the reception desk (I waited for 15 minutes) and employees walked past me as though I wasn't there. Not one person said hello to me - not one! I sat looking through nail colors waiting to see if anyone approached me and no one did. Finally, someone sat behind the reception desk so I walked up and asked to have acrylic nails put on. Anna came and got me. She showed me to the chair and was nice enough, but did not talk to me for the hour I sat across from her in the chair. The only time she spoke was to tell me "no soap" when washing my hands before polishing - 2 whole words! Doesn't she speak enough English to communicate with the customers? She only nodded the few times I spoke so I stopped trying to talk to her thinking she didn't understand me. I've had the same problem with most of the salons I have gone to and it is very aggravating not to be able to communicate what I want, when I am the one paying! I now have to carry pictures around to make some technicians understand - it's ridiculous. This IS America, right? I'm not thrilled with the outcome, but I can't explain the issues (because I only speak English) so I'm stuck with what I got. Acrylics are nowhere near my cuticles, so they will have to be filled in a week, instead of 2 weeks. Half of the nails are completely crooked on my fingers. She never touched my cuticles, let alone push them back. Worse hand massage I have ever received, barely touched my fingers and left lotion on my wrists because she never bothered to rub it in after she put it on. Awful experience! read more

I've been going to Envy for years as a pedicure and eyebrow waxing client. Firsts, it's a beautiful salon promoting laation and cleanliness. They have a tea and coffee bar which they encourage you to try as you await your appointment. All tge techs are professional and friendly. They're always accommodating, even when it's busy. The young lady at tge desk (I think Mary) is efficient and friendly as well. It's not the least expensive around but worth every penny for quality work in a beautiful environment. read more

I was visiting the area and stopped in. Work was decent but prices were ridiculous. 2 pedicures and a fill in cost me $175 . When I made a comment about the prices not adding up, receipt shows they charged me $35 to only paint half my nails which they considered a design. To add insult the handed me a gift bag with chocolate in it as a Christmas gift, I guess to appease me. Never stop here again read more

When I went into the nail salon the receptionist told me to pick a color... I have dipping powder on my fingers and regular polish on my toes so I confirmed with her that they would have the same polish color in both types... She said yes all of those colors we have. When I was getting my pedicure I confirmed with the nail technician that she had the same color in dipping powder and she assured me yes we have the same color! Do you have an idea where this is going? This was Halloween they were closing at 5o'clock and when the polish on my fingers was finished I realized the colors were not the same... She offered to redo my toes but I had already spent an hour drying & having dinner plans didn't want to leave wet. If I had not been so specific and asked both of the women I interacted with for the same color I would not have been upset. The receptionist offered an eight dollar credit which I have no idea where that number came from but she said she would have the manager call me on Tuesday... It's been over a week and of course the manager never called. I've been coming to the salon for years when I am at the shore and always had a good experience...today they didn't care nor did the manager. Bad customer service read more

I have been a customer of this nail spa for over 10 years. I use to get acrylic nails and I was always satisfied with the service and my nails were always beautiful. Over the years I stopped getting manicures because I changed professions and I continued to go get pedicures. My pedicure technician has changed but I continued to be greatly satisfied with the technician, Diane who does a wonderful job. I recently was out with some friends and their nails were beautiful. They told me they get their nails dipped with powder. They explained the process and told me it lasts about 4 weeks. I decided to try the procedure after I got my pedicure. The technician, Diane said she does not do the dipping procedure but I was given a technician by the name of Lee. Lee was pleasant and appeared to have done a great job. Unfortunately 7 days later I started experiencing snagging from the nail bed near the cuticles on all of my fingers. While out shopping I looked down and 2 of the nails were completely bare. No polish nothing. The coating was completely off. Very disappointed I went back and spoke to the owner and he said because I came back after 5 days from the date my nails were done he could not redo them without charging me. I have been a long time customer and I don't think that his decision was the way you should treat a long time patron of your business. I actually don't think that anyone who spends that kind of money should have to return after a week because of a procedure done incorrectly. I don't like leaving negative reviews however this was a negative experience and I was not even considered to be compensated. I was shown the little 5 day policy sign and dismissed. I called back and was told they probably didn't last because some people are rough with their nails. People I don't work in construction. I hate the thought of changing salons after so many years but when a business shows no dedication to a loyal customer maybe it's time to move on. I have referred several people to this business and I know they will be equally disappointed. Very disappointed, Andrea read more

So I must say I loved my experience here by my nails just did not last. As I mentioned before this was my first time getting gel and I had my appointment on Dec 4th. Sadly within 5 days my nails were already chipping and I had to completely removed the gel polish within 10 days. It just looked terrible and I was told gel nails typically last between 2 to 3 weeks. I am not sure why it did not last for me, I have a desk job so nothing really strenuous where my nails could be damaged. This is disappointing as I really enjoyed my experience at this salon. Maybe because it was a bit of a rush job? read more

The picture is what I asked for. That's what I got. Overpriced for extremely short nails. Lady I was with was inexperienced. Removed the police and reapplied it at least 4 times. Went to dipped nails removed. The tech assigned started my nails and got as far wrapping then to remove the nails. She then went and got another customer and brought her back and told me and would have to wait in between her doing her nails. When I came in I asked for the nails tip to removed and to get my nail polished. There 4 to 5 other not working on customer at the time. It took 10 minutes for her to return to me. She did my left hand and re soaked the thumb. She removed the tips and attempted to buff them and use a file on them. she go wash my hands and I came back for polish and had returned to the customer and told I was done. On my left hand next pink and middle finger I still layers of the dip not removed. And I would wait again for service. at the desk she told me you only wanted them removed but she telll the manager. This spa is great, if you get the right person taking care of you. I used to just walk in but quickly discovered that if I wanted quality work I needed to schedule an appointment. My daughter and I went here on 5-21-16 for vacation mani/pedi's. I had an appointment with the manager, who did a great job. I couldn't tell you the name of the tech who did my daughters nails or whether they did a poor job because she's a kid, but her service was certainly lacking. They didn't even bother to use the same silver on her pedicure that she had for her manicure that she requested. If you are looking for a great pedicure though, I highly recommend Mike. read more

I really enjoy coming to this place. It is a little Pricey but it is one of the nicest salons in the Southern Jersey area. This place is super clean and professional. You always get a good feeling when you are here. When I get my gel manicure from here it always lasts about 2 weeks before it starts chipping. Got these nails done 5/19. As you can see it's not the same and the nails are very thick and one nail is already growing out which it wasn't placed right and I was nicked. I told the lady to use dip powder because at other salons I was able to achieve the look I wanted by dip. However I did not know they use a different dip powder. I showed her the picture and she said she could do it. If she wasn't able to do it I wish she would've recommended me another service. I noticed my nails looking chunky and I was getting a little upset because she didn't know what I was talking about when I told her they didn't look like the picture. I then had someone else do my nails and they tried to fix what was done. The front desk lady told me I should've used a different service but I wish I was told that before I had this applied on my nails. I'm very disappointed and won't be returning. I wasted money on nails that I don't like and I don't feel my best self while looking at these nails. I've been coming here for pedicures and that's the only thing they are good for. read more

I wish I lived closer because this was a gorgeous nail spa. And I DO mean gorgeous! From the minute I walked in I felt like I was in a high-end spa. The upscale appearance, the professionalism of the receptionist, and subtle music made me know this was going to be a good experience. I got my first gel manicure. (I would have loved to stay for a pedicure too but had to catch a plane.) They don't rush. This is a place where they want you to relax and enjoy your visit. They can even sync your iPod with their music system so you can enjoy your own tunes. My manicurist was cute and nice. She admitted that she didn't file nails into a square shape very well so I said it was all right to file my nails into the rounded shape that's popular right now. Uh, I don't really like the rounded shape. I feel like I have old fashioned hands now :-\ "Hello Granny" The only other reason I couldn't give this great spa 5 stars is that she did cut me twice. And one of those cuts is still on the mend from 12 days ago. :( But, the gel polish still hasn't cracked and is looking great. If I were to go back here when I'm in the area again, I would ask for a different manicurist. But, I will say, I would frequent this place often if I lived close just because it feels so luxurious just being there. read more

After what I've heard, I will never step foot in here again. Take your business anywhere else who treats their employees better. They recently lost at least 10 of their best nail technicians, which all happen to be the most talented (in my opinion). Envy Nail Spa - Recent design by Trinny - Nail Salons Near Me - Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey

Envy Nail Spa is my current spot for pedicures and manicures. I started going here after I received a gift card and enjoyed it. It's in the same plaza as Jo-Jo's Pizza and everything in the shop from what I could observe is kept clean, they have a nice little area for complimentary tea and coffee from a Keurig, and it really does appear "spa-like" with soothing stone walls and a neutral and green color scheme. They also have a massive selection of high quality polishes for both gel nails and basic manicure/pedicure. I love Essie and they probably carry every color. Despite the "spa" name, it doesn't have a spa price tag. Their prices are very reasonable and competitive to any other local nail salon. I believe the standard pedicure is about $26 and if you get on their email/text messaging list, they do send out discount coupons thru text message. If someone says they referred you, they notate that on your account so you receive 10% off the next time you come. I like that and think it's a nice benefit. As far as the work they do, I switched from my previous salon because I like to get a gel manicure and was running into an issue that my polish was peeling after a few days. I don't find that happening at Envy Nails and they usually last around 2 weeks. I've had several different people do my nails at Envy, and if the person isn't available it's really not a big deal for me because I don't get acrylic, but I do like to have Lindy or Tiffany do my nails if they're available. I can't comment on their wax services because I haven't received a wax from them. As far as appointments, I normally wait no more than 10-15 minutes for my appointment. I would highly recommend an appointment, although I think they do try to accommodate walk-ins, I like the fact they don't just squeeze people in and they actually honor their appointments. I also agree with the previous reviewer about their payment system being a little odd when it comes to debit cards, so if possible, I would hit your preferred ATM beforehand and have the cash. read more

Came down to the Galloway area to visit family and I really needed to get a regular manicure + pedicure. Envy is a beautiful salon from front to back. I felt relaxed just stepping in. I had two great nail techs for my nails and overall it was a great experience! Very clean. Tons of nail polish colors to choose from. If you are into extravagant nail designs, they offer that as well. Yes, it's a few more dollars than your average nail salon but it's definitely worth it! I highly recommend for my fellow shore travellers this summer if you are looking for a nail salon in a pinch! I hope I come back! read more

Careful and deliberate, and asked me how I wanted everything done then did exactly that. Highly recommend. read more

Came here because my usual salon was busy and nail tech was on vacation. Workers and nail techs were nice. They're a little more expensive than any other nail salon in the area. With the higher price you would expect better quality but the work is sloppy and was not worth my money. Not terrible but not good either. I came in for a refill and the finished product wasn't to my standards. My nails were extremely thick, looking like a mountain of acrylic powder, and ended up making my slight coffin nails a squoval. Not sure who my nail tech was but definitely will not be coming back again. If a salon like this is going to hike up the prices they should at-least provide 5 star quality nails. Added an additional star because at-least they were all nice there. read more

I really wanted to like this place more. They do so much right. They have a very efficient check-in process, and lots of space for the various services they offer. Great little perks with the beverage station (coffee, soda, water, wine, etc.) and fireplace in the pedicure areas. And finally, a place that plays things on the TV's that their customers are likely to enjoy. And they are very attentive. But I had to go back twice in less than 48 hours for nail repairs, and then within a week my manicure was completely wrecked. Nails split at the corners due to over filing. Polish chipped and lifted - i'm wondering if it was the base coat or thinned out products. The ambiance is great, and the staff is friendly, but having to go back repeatedly for fixes to ultimately have it look a mess a few days later, ruined the whole intention of a relaxing/pampering experience. I'll have to keep looking for a nail spot in South Jersey. read more
