Great nail salon! I had gone to another salon yesterday that did a horrendous job. The nail tech at Nails Plus was sympathetic, careful, and really sweet. She reshaped them, fixed my cuticles, and helped me fine the perfect polish. And she actually listened to what I wanted unlike the other nail salon. They have great prices and a really clean salon. They are taking amazing precautions to prevent any spreading of COVID-19 too. Plastic dividers for the work station, glove changes, face masks and shields, along with the usual sterilization procedures. I truly left impressed. One of the best pedicures I've had! I'm from out of town, I just so happened to be walking pass this nail salon. It looked inviting, well lit clean and open. So I decided to get a pedicure. They took me as a walk-in it was around 1pm on a Mon, so there were only a few people. I had to wait a few minutes... But once they got started it was well worth it. The lady I had, took her time and really did an amazing job. Some places seem to just rush through the pedicure. She gave a nice massage, cleaned and scrubbed my feet thoroughly! I was so relaxed. Even hot stones! Finished with a perfect Polish. To top it off, that was the express pedi, I can only imagine how the spa pedi would be!! Probably the worst pedicure I've ever had. I'm not sure what my technicians name was, as she didn't introduce herself at all, was an older woman. The water was cold, the massage on my legs was barely a massage. All she did was rub in the green exfoliating lotion/ gel. She cut one toenail extremely too short that now it's painful to wear sneakers, which I have to wear for work, and she used the pumice stone on the upper back of my heel that didn't need any attention, leaving a cut that is also painful. She seemed like she had never painted nails before, it took her a good 5 minutes (at least) just to paint my toes. I'll literally never step foot in this salon again. So upset I wasted my money on that "pedicure". read more

I am new to New Jersey and researched nail salons near me. The 5 star reviews on Yelp helped in my decision. What a FABULOUS salon. It is lovely on the inside and super clean and comfortable. The owners and staff are so friendly but more importantly they do amazing work. I had a gel manicure and spa pedicure and even decided to get eyelash extensions. Plus the prices are reasonable. First of all I should mention that the new name of this place is NAILS PLUS. I'm from out of town and was in the area for business so naturally I go to Yelp to guide me through all my needs. I saw great reviews on here decided to come here. At first I couldn't find it because the name wasn't the same but I just called and was told that it is now Nails Plus. I'm not sure of their names because I forgot already, but the kindest man did my nails and what a perfectionist! I wish this business was where I live! His wife was also very pleasant which just adds on to how satisfied I was with my gel manicure. I'm in love with it it's never been this perfect :) I'll be sure to come here again if I'm ever back in town. p.s Gel manicure was only $25 which is the lowest you will ever find anywhere. read more

If I could give this business a 0, I would. I walked in and asked them if they had availability for a pedicure and manicure, and the workers all stated yes. I walked out to get my mom, who is in a wheelchair, because that's who the pedicure and manicure was for.....and when I got in they started yelling no we can't do for her.....only because she was in a wheelchair. They did not ask me what her Illness was, they simply DISCRIMINATED because she was in a wheelchair. I have been in a wheelchair before due to aches & pains, and even pregnancy before. Do you mean to tell me, they do not service handicapped people, or a person because of what it looks like. My mom said when we got in the car as she felt bad, well I'll just come when I'm walking in a few days.....ummm no mom, we will NEVER patronize any business who discriminated against anyone. I'll spend my money somewhere else. The only reason that I didn't go to my usual salon is because we waited last minute to call and they did not have availability. I'm glad I didn't spend my money on such ignorance. I can sew why they only had one customer in there....and that customer was in disbelief as well. If it was a health risk, or if they even asked in concern why or what reason she was in the chair, I can probably see them not wanting to risk the liability, yet my mom was perfectly fine to get into the chair. I hope this place shuts down and runs out of business. Yet, I won't hope for such, Karma is real. I'll let God handle them. read more

On a whim, i decided to be a lady and go get a pedicure and a gel manicure. I came back here. I used to come to this nail salon i want to say 8-10 years ago. Same owner, same GREAT service and quality! The name is now Nails Plus like the above commenter posted. I wish i never left because the few times i have wandered into various nail salons i never got that "home" feeling. The feeling of not only they want your business but they want to make you feel welcomed, comfortable, and respected. Jessica was my tech and she is not only pleasant but efficient and makes sure her work is thorough!! She fixed my nail shape, didnt cut my cuticles a ridiculous amount and gave a great hot stone massage with my pedicure. I am so happy i made the choice to come back and i def will be coming here from now on. Its clean, inviting, everyone is nice and its CLEAN. Lol. I recommend this place. I oaid $50 for pedi and gel mani so i have to assume both were $25 a piece. Great place, great service and I didn't wait too long for them to start on me. read more

A friend brought me here. I went in for a fill. I had acrylic nails with gel polish over top. I had the male technician. he did not push back my cuticles, nor trim them. He did not clean up my fingers whatsoever. (And they clearly needed to be cleaned up.) He basically just threw more acrylic over what was already there, and sloppily slapped on a single coat of almost sheer polish. I got a very light almost nude gel polish. He argued about giving me a second coat, when the first one was so see-through that you could see the acrylic nails underneath. (This was the first time I've ever even had to request a second coat of polish. Every other technician at any other salon does it automatically.) Then he sloppily gave me a second coat with bare spots, while raising his voice and telling me that there was no reason for a second coat. When I asked him to fill in the few bare spots, he argued with me. I had to insist that he fill in the areas so that they didn't look like there were polkadots of bare spots. He begrudgingly fixed the spots, with major ignorance. When it was time to pay, he charged me three dollars extra for a "cut down" fee. He barely filed them any shorter. And the woman I was with that has been there multiple times before, said that that was the first time she's ever heard of someone being charged extra for their nails being filed. Not to mention that I did not see an autoclave machine in the salon. (The only way to truly disinfect manicurist tools and completely kill 100% of germs fungus and bacteria.) This place is not worth your time or money, or chance of infection, and definitely not worth the stress and dissatisfaction. I'm clearly never going back, and sticking to Pinkys! I am always 100% happy leaving Pinky's salon every time, and over the many years, have never caught any kind of infection or fungus, nor been charged a "cut down" fee. Asked for a full set of mink eyelashes and was told it was $50. Great, and clusters are $28. I have an allergy to cluster lashes so I specifically asked for no cluster, just single lash extensions. I also got a full set of acrylics before I sat down for my extensions. I've had eyelash extensions in the past and I've always loved the outcome and have no issue paying more for great service. Jessica did my lashes in probably 45-50 mins, which I found odd because everytime I got my lashes done, it's taken 2+ hours. When getting lash extensions, they're supposed to be soft to the touch. My eyelashes were all stuck together with visible glue clumps and felt uncomfortable, but I went home after paying her for her service and $10 tip. I get home and get close up to a mirror and count 12-14 clusters on my lashes. I paid for a full set of mink. I called and asked for a refund and she said come back and I'll take them off for you. I come back and the owner I'm guessing, a man said I can't refund you in full. They are getting mad at ME for doing dishonest business claiming the $50 lash extensions were both single lash and clusters! I showed Jessica three different pictures of what I was looking for to make sure it was still $50 and she said yes, I'll do that for you. Completely lied to me while she kept asking if I like it and tending to other customers. My guess is, she was trying to rush me for customers that looked like that had more money for her, which is awful customer service btw. I told them I have no issue paying for a full set of lashes and out of nowhere, they say it's $170 for a full set. WHAT??? Again I have no issue paying good money for good service. Then they had the nerve to say I would never pay $170 for eyelashes...as if I haven't multiple times in the past. The owner says he can refund me half which at this point I'm done arguing with these people. I tell her to take all of them off and the owner tries to persuade me into doing a full set for $170. No way! You expect to get $200+ from me after being completely dishonest with me?? They do good nails, sure, but nothing out of the ordinary. I will take my business elsewhere and if you're thinking about getting lash extensions from here - you've been warned. I was refunded $30 out of $90 (full set acrylics, lash extensions), so I got robbed. read more
