I guess they don't inform their Receptionist when a service is discontinued. Since the thought of having any other service done there made me anxious, I asked for a refund. They said no problem. Few days later I received another text saying that they had refunded my money. When I inquired as to where they refunded it too since it was a gift card, they said oh we don't refund gift cards. I had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau just to put them on notice. These people have no business sense whatsoever. They are a small local business who is risking their reputation for $100. I have also filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs. This is not a way to run a business.

Recently, the shop has changed ownership, but the new owner, Hana, is a long standing employee and she has the bonus of having the former owner, Samantha, still working there with her. Samantha ran a clean, relaxed and fairly priced shop with great hours and easy access at a fantastic location and I expect that nothing will change now that Hana is the owner. It's always been a GREAT salon and I'm sure the high quality the customers are used to will remain the same!
