very unfriendly staff. It was unclear where to pick colors and what was for regular/dip/gel and nobody wanted to assist and just stared at me. I watched a manicurist leave a service half way to take a smoke outside and then come back to the finish the manicure. I will not be returning. I will say that MY manicurist(Haley) was very sweet and lovely but the entire unfriendly atmosphere made this a very unenjoyable and unpleasant experience. My nails look pretty though!! read more

I went with my mom to get a regular mani. The price on the board said $12, but the technician told us it was going to be $15. I had gel on my nails from a previous mani and asked how much it would be to remove and get a regular mani. First she said $5 to remove and $15 for a mani, which turned into $25. I was okay with the price but then the entire time the technician was doing my nails she tried to upsell me to get another gel manicure, which I had already said I did not want. Then all she did was file my nails, cut my cuticles, and a sloppy job painting. At the end she squirted some cuticle oil and told me to go rinse and that was it. Will not be going again. read more

So idk about anyone else but I think most people want to relax and enjoy their mani or pedi. You won't enjoy it here! The place is a factory, they rush you out and several employees are rude. I decided to change my service slightly and they clearly were talking crap in Vietnamese. My nail guy was so rough and rude, grabbed my hands so hard and was just rushing it like Crazy. Also if you get nails put on they don't manicure your nails?! Ridiculous, didn't think I had to ask for that. Afterward I looked at my nails and the technician was like WHAT WHATS WRONG?! So rude, I can check the job you did no?! Anyway, they are clearly so burnt out and need to do something else if they hate customer service. We don't pay to be treated like garbage. And I had to ask the lady to scrub my foot, I took my finger nail and scratched off dead skin and showed it to her, she began to speak in Vietnamese and spitefully scrub the skin off my ankles, I have scratches on my leg!! If you want your nails rushed then this is the place to visit! The "lash tech" glued my eyelashes to my eyes supposedly they'll stay on for 10 days but I was forced to Take them off within a day bc of the pain & itchy ness ( get my eyelashes done from super nails all the time never exp this ) & they don't even cut your cuticles they say " they fine, next time" that's why they always get $2 tip bc they can never do their JOB right! In my travels, I've been forced to go to many many nail salons, from NYC to California, from expensive spa pedicures to dirt cheap chinatown mani/pedis for $20 (never again!), but absolutely nothing beats a deluxe spa pedicure from Pinky's Nails! I love this place! + Their chairs are fantastic, the kind that kneads your back, not the cheap vibrating massage chairs that essentially does nothing for sore muscles. If you have kiddies, they even have these cute kiddie chairs. + The facilities are kept clean. I've even seen the staff scrap the gum off their sidewalk! + The prices are extremely reasonable! You can get a regular pedi for $25 which includes a lot of extra treatments! I think their spa/deluxe pedicures are around $35. + The nail technicians are always super sweet and makes sure you're well taken care of. + My mani/pedis always come out looking nice and if you're clumsy like me, they're always more than happy to fix the chipped nail you get from accidentally hitting the dryer. - The only thing they can improve on is their massage. It's more like rubbing your skin vs. an actual massage. But honestly, I don't expect them to be massage therapists... that's when I head next door to green garden massage for an affordable massage!! read more

My only complaint is that they don't have all the colors on hand so after I spend 15 minutes picking out a color they tell me they don't have it and I have to pick all over again but if you're willing to go through the color selection Andy does an awesome fill. I used to do my own acrylics, but I decided to treat myself and start having them done. I like trendy designs and can't do them on myself. I have been to Pinkys I in the past and decided to go back. I have been three times now and only had to wait once (it was a rainy Sat). My nails have looked great everytime. They have several young men that seem to do acrylics well. I have not asked for anything too challenging yet lol. The young men are good but they do skip or forget steps sometimes either because its busy or because they are watching world soccer on the TVs and their phones. Not a huge deal but if you like the "whole spa experience", this may not be the place for you. My nails look great though! read more

Pros: lots of tables and lots of pedicure chairs. Lots of technicians. I'm not sure if I got lucky or if all the technicians are as thorough as mine was. His name was Huong. He talked a lot in rapid assumedly Vietnamese to the girl next to him but was efficient gentle professional and thorough. I was able to walk in and get immediate service on a Sunday afternoon which was a risky maneuver on my part. The price was very reasonable. Cons: looks a little shabby inside -could use a facelift. Also, smelled very very toxic. They could do a little ventilation - I know the weather is hot but still that cannot be healthy for clients or workers! Overall I would come back to this place and it was not a disappointment and I'm happy to have sparkly shiny good looking feet again! read more

I called before I went and asked how much a gel mani pedi was in case the price went up to make sure I had enough cash. I was told $50. I went in that day and had another gel mani pedi. My regular girl was in vacation so I had a different girl. When I went to pay she told me it was $65. I said I always paid $50 and I just called earlier and was told $50. She said no it's $65. I told her I wasn't paying $65 and to call my regular girl which she did. I have no idea was she said to her because she wasn't speaking English. Went in today and was greeted and got started almost immediately! The women who did my nails did exactly what I wanted and quickly, which I enjoy as long as they get done right and they did. The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is because it's very crammed and the ventilation isn't great as soon as i walked in I could smell the chemicals and it was very strong. First time going to Pinky's - Went to get a Gel Manicure, the nails came out OK, definitely a lot better than the last salon I went to. The salon was clean and the staff were friendly. My only complaint is that my nails do not look like the picture that I showed the technician (a picture I got from someone else's Yelp review). The French tip on one of my pinky nails is a lot thicker than the other, I also have bubbles in some of the nails. Even so, I probably will return in the future. read more

This place is not worth it at all. First of all it looks kinda run down inside. Second of all the lady who did my nails didn't even file my nails properly, even when I asked her to fix it. I had a pretty good experience! I went on a Friday morning and it was pretty packed. We had called ahead and were seated right away. The acrylics were great! Also the gel nails were done pretty well. The nail salon emptied out a little bit so my pedicure wasn't rushed whatsoever! The prices are pretty standard, not cheap but not too ridiculous. I have been going here in and off for about a year or so. I JUST go here for an eyebrow wax nothing more and not consistent enough to really have a set appointment or person that does them. I USUALLY have no problem, as they are quick and attentive here and but I never have the same person twice. Today I popped in to treat my self to getting my eyebrows and I now have to completely different shaped eyebrows! It's obvious that one is in fact longer than the other! Now I have to wait for them to grow out again. Horrible. Never again. I just want better attention to my eyebrows because I like the price & quick service but not the way they make my eyebrows look sometimes. Cheap. Affordable. Quick.
