Never again. Obviously this place does tons of business, but is run more like a sweat shop than a "luxury spa." It's jam packed with manicure stations and as soon as my manicure was done, brief as it was, I was rushed out to make room for the next person. The manicurist used the dremmel grinder for acrylics to grind down my cuticles which left me cut and bleeding in three places and my fingers looking worse than before the manicure. I'm glad I didn't spend too much money on such a poor painful job. They seemed to be giving much better service to the customers who were there for acrylics or who they'd bullied into getting a gel manicure (spending more money.) I was a walk-in and they took me right away which was great. However, I didn't get any polish- not gel nor regular. Just a pink acrylic set. Still charged me $40 though, for what? Again, I didn't even put polish on them. My thumb was horribly crooked and the woman who did my nails was on the phone the entire time (talking and laughing very loudly in my face). I like the way Andy did my nails he was very nice and did an excellent job. Le was sweet she did my lashes ( but they started falling off in two days so $25 isn't worth it) and the manager did my eye brows. It's a little more expensive than what I'm use to ( I live in philly) but I just needed a quick fix I changed the rate to 3 stars because my lashes were too expensive to be coming off 2 days later ( I usually pay 18 and they last 2 weeks) and 1 of my nails cracked... read more

Never again. I took my nieces to get their nails painted for their birthday and nothing that I requested was done. There were no seats for us to sit together, even though I called days in advance to reserve it. They did a nice job treating the girls like princesses and giving them detail on their tiny nails, all while rushing through my gel manicure. Not to mention they rubbed my skin RAW. I chose a red color for my polish and now the skin around my nail matches from how hard she rubbed. They are red and puffy and literally sting when anything touches them. 5 fingers are this awful and it is totally noticeable. So then I go in the back to get my eye brows waxed and the lady just walks me in the room where a lady is getting her chin waxed. They expected me to stand while they put hot dripping wax on my face. If you are looking for relaxing pedi and mani, dont go here!!! Staff are constantly yelling and screaming at each other and patrons have no idea what they are saying. Mmmmkay. I was in Atlantic city visiting and I needed an inexpensive place to get my nails done. I found Pinkys on yelp. It was blazing hot the day I came in and the staff made sure everyone had a tiny water bottle :) The little things make a difference. They also have a decent selection of OPI polishes which is a requirement when I'm getting my nails done. Looking around the salon at the other womens' services, I think this might be a better place to come in and get a fill or acrylics than a really good pedicure. Most of the girls having their nails done were getting awesome designs and "rihanna" like styles. Although they do have the hot towel wrap included in a basic pedicure, I would have preferred that they spent a little more time scrubbing my feet. But, thats just my opinion. read more

I went with a friend on a Sunday looking to get a normal Polish pedi and Gel mani in same color (this was a total of $50 not including tip). By Wednesday I had noticed the gradual change of my mauvy pink colored nails, they turned some type of salmon (i obvi had my toes done in same color so it was the gel that was bad). I called them and explained, man over the phone says come back to fix no charge. I showed up in the next few days after work because it's the only time i could squeeze. Walk in and what i assume is the man who spoke to me over the phone on Wed. kept pressing to know exactly what tech did my nails (like if I was lying lol i had receipt with her name and a rewards account i made same day so look it up?). She comes over, asks what happened, talks to this man then tells me to sit down, talks to him again in their language, then comes back to me asks am I having gel mani I say yes i had it originally she says $20. This is the big LOL cause the man is standing right behind her so i say no he said it's free of charge. She proceeds to say ok real gentle then goes off in her language as she talks to him. Then tells me to pick a color, then a different man sitting there is talking to her in their lang then talks to me says she'll take care of it. This lady who originally did my nails calls over another girl to do my "fix" , she brought the foil to remove the gel, (maybe thinking since i was getting it fixed for free I wasnt gonna tip), put foils back, only to just file over the salmon color and paint on the new color. I still tipped her but honestly I shouldnt have, you can still see the salmon color on the sides of some nails and the under side of them. Plus when she filed over the color, one of my nails she filed straight thru the salmon color into my real nail and u can see where she messed up right smack in the middle. Looks weird. Also seriously it's so rude to have everyone come over to stare at me like I'm in a freaking zoo. I had to ask an older lady who just came and pressed up on my arm hovering over me as im sitting if she was a manager. She only smiled and walked away. Many people were talking about it because they kept glancing my way and speaking in their language to my original tech who was standing by the new tech. Basically, wouldn't have had a problem if the man on phone would've set it straight with my original tech that I was not supposed to pay for the switch in color, the new tech choice to file over the old color instead of taking off the color completely when she had the foil in her hand, the crap paint job, and the employees who kept making me feel so uncomfortable like an animal in a zoo. They knew their gel polish had to be bad they said it themselves so i dont get why people had to come over and look on like it was the weirdest thing in the world. Extra notes: time of original mani pedi was rushed. Needs better ventilation, and is so cramped i was surprised how many chairs they squeezed in you feel like you'll knock something or someone over if u turn, not worth the money u pay if u want to be taken care of, this is a money factory no focus in comfort for customers. Terrible. ..I usually go to Hollywood Nails,they are great most of the time. But, I was in a hurry. When I walked in not only did it smell dirty but, no hello...I got a "what you want?" The older woman who first came to do my pedicure, she switched with another girl after cutting the nails on the first foot, was rude and barely looked at me... the second girl didn't know only the one foot was done and had to go back and cut them. No massage chair...no hospitality. ..NO foot and leg massage. I was going to get my nails cleaned up but no way! This place is terrible. I will plan better next time and go to Hollywood. I've been going to Phoenix Tran for years and she is amazing! Can do anything I ask for perfectly, and I always go for glitzy acrylic nails that I'm hard pressed to find someone able to do elsewhere. In the past she's given me ombré, marble, and Swarovski crystal designs. Luke is also very good, and ruby is sweet and helpful. Definitely make an appointment with either Phoenix or Luke as they are usually booked days in advance and rarely do walk ins. This was my first time to Pinky's and most likely my last. I'm giving it 2 stars because the family members I went with didn't have any problems but I did. We walked in and the place is huge and like a mad house with employees running around and yelling, and like other reviews have stated it is not ventilated properly, the smell of chemicals is so strong I left with a headache. But the real problem I had was with the man that did my nails. He started out by watching the soccer game over his shoulder while doing my nails, then he was playing on his phone (while still doing my nails), but the most ridiculous part was that he started FACE TIMING with someone while still doing my nails!!! But the worst part was the actual nail job. He didn't close enough to my cuticles so it already looked like my nails grew out and I asked for matte, he put on two layers of the matte coat but it was still shiny. Attached is the job he did but I went out and bought the Essie matte top coat and went over the job he did on the one nail. You can totally see a difference, if I ever go back I'm definitely going to have him do my nails again. read more

I was very hesitant to write a review because I wanted to give Pinky's a chance considering everyone loves them. So a couple months back I went to the Linwood location. My tech was Christine. She greeted me with "oh I didn't know I had an appointment", that was strike 1. Strike 2 came shortly after she started my nails after requesting a new set of nails due to them being old. She had the nerve to tell me " not today, I don't have that kind of time". I knew at that moment I should've walked right out! I bit my tongue and sat there. Minutes later I notice my nails were pretty nice. Strike 3 started after admiring her work, she kept saying " I do the best I can, I do the best I can your nails looked horrible". Other customers started looking!!! I was beyond embarrassed!!!!! I let her finish my nails to my surprise my nail cracked later that week. If she had given me a new set like I asked I wouldn't be pissed after just getting my nails done! I went back a few weeks later to the same place requesting a different tech ( I refused to give Christine another chance). I request a new set again because I had the cracked nail and I explained to her the set I had on needed to come off. She brushed me off and said " I fix it, no new set". Now, at this point I'm pissed and I didn't want to make a scene so again I stayed to give this tech a chance. I asked for coffin shape nails...... she did the complete opposite!!!!! After ignoring my request I said no designs (I was pissed and ready to go) she says " let me do design to show my work" I let her and end up hating it!!!! When I left a few days later the same nail cracked!!! I should have listened to my gut the first time with Christine! I don't understand why they don't listen to the paying customer's request! Needless to say I will never return to this location. I might try my luck with the brand new pinky's that's set to open in Mays Landing after Quarantine is over. read more

As I was driving from Virginia, I called to schedule and appointment for 3pm. I was told by a lady no problem. I arrived two minutes before my appointment, walked into the salon and a gentleman working the front waived me to leave. I waited for him to get off the phone and informed him that I had an appointment. The first words out of his mouth were, "we are closed". I said I have an appointment, he argued I didn't. I showed him my cell, the phone call and how long I was on the phone. He said you can wait over 35 minutes, we have people ahead of you and we need to close for a party. I couldn't wait as I was attending an event in the area. He told me to drive to another Pinky's location. So I did! Thank god for Jennifer. Went in Pinky's Nails 3 on Sunday Feb 28. The salon was so nice looking and relaxing just walking through the door. I wanted my eyelashes tinted. The girl at the desk said that no one was there to do the tint but she called the other locations. Pinky's 2 said that someone was available. They were told that I would be right there. I went straight to that location, only to find out that the person had "just left". I will not try there again. Too many other salons that offer the same treatments. read more

If you are a fan of being rushed, sloppy work, having to ask for basic things to be included and having your requests ignored, this is the place for you. I went for a gel manicure. Before I could pick a color the person assigned was rushing me to her station. Repeated requests to slow down were ignored. She had my hand in acetone before I could even look at the colors (Wrapping each nail to remove polish is conspicuously absent at Pinky's.) Scraped away at the nails, did a fast push and had polish in her hand without ever bothering with soaking or cuticles. When I asked whether she was going to actually do a manicure she shrugged and returned with plain water for a two minute rush one. I was not even offered the chance to wash my hands after she was done. I asked repeatedly to make sure that no polish got on my cuticle. She ignored me. The woman (who I think was "Pinky". She was oddly dressed in a tight ,pink cocktail dress.) at the next station, seemed to translate my request. It didn't help, there was polish all over the cuticles. I hate the way that peels when gels grow out. The technician refused to clean it off and the woman at the next station glanced and said they looked fine to her. At that point, I came to my senses, offered to pay for the time and left. Even having wet, sticky gel polish on my fingers didn't prevent me running out of this awful place. They may have rushed me in, but I rushed out and will not rush to return. Ah, and the prices are higher than the place I drove to for a decent manicure! read more

Hosted a Bachelorette party with 7 girls at the salon this morning. Beside the confusion of which location we were scheduled for everything was fantastic! They put out treats for us, took us back immediately, and even had a small gift for the bride! We were even served fruit and snacks at the pedicure station. Everyone was thrilled with the work the Tech's did. We ended up at the Pinky's III location. It was so organized and clean! Pinky's 2= Nails were awesome. The nail techs were awesome. I did not know I could not put tip on my card. Like every other place I have been to in America. They made such a stink and the cashier an older man was so rude. I explained I have never been here this is my first time. When I mean he made a big embarrassing stink he flipped on me. So I flip out back. I said how dare you speak to me like that I explained over and over I did not know tips could not be on the card. Worst nail experience I have ever had. The only reason I am giving this salon two stars(I'm probably being way to generous with that) is because the woman who greeted me was nice and the man that tried to help my technician was very nice and apologetic. The girl who did my nails didn't even say hello to me. She had no idea how to do an sns manicure. She used a nail drill. The point of sns is to protect and strengthen your natural nails. My technician had never done sns before and was having someone teach her as she was doing my nails. The colors were also misnumbered and she grabbed wrong color at first. My manicure came out sloppy and then my technician used the nail drill on my actual skin to try and clean up her mistakes and cut me is multiple places! The manicurists were swapping out instruments and not sanitizing them so I was probably cut with dirty instrument. This salon advertises about their cleanliness but this salon was filled with dirty workstations, tools, and brushes. I should of said something when I was in the salon but I was so upset I didn't want to angrily cause a scene. read more

In the last month I've visited this location twice. First time I asked for a gel manicure & a gel pedicure. My technician and I believe the owner were rushing me to pick a color, I showed them a picture in which the owner took my phone and I had to ask my technician many times if I could have my phone back. As my technician then proceeded to do my manicure, I kept having to ask her to keep reshaping my nails because they were uneven! Then she just tossed me the nail file and told me to do it! As she's then polishing my nails I asked her when she was going to put the UV light on my feet and she looked at me and asked "You wanted gel on your toes too?" At this point she immediately stops doing my nails and crawls under the table to redo my toes. Two weeks later I came in to get the gel on my nails removed and get a new gel manicure and they put me with the same technician as last time. I didn't want to say anything at this point because maybe last time she was having a bad day and I wanted to give it a second chance! She sat me down at a table and began to ask me what I had done to my nails. I told her it was gel polish and she was the one who applied it two weeks prior, she then took a drill bit to my nails and started to sand them down! The whole reason I get gel polish is to protect my natural nails! I then asked her to stop and see if she could soak them off. Again I felt very rushed when choosing a color and again pulled up a picture on my phone and my technician asked the lady at the front desk to help. She returned with a few options and said "We're not going to have this exact color, but here's what we have!" I didn't expect them to have that exact color, just something similar. Just the way she approached the situation with such an attitude was really unprofessional. Also both times I had to go home and reshape my nails because they were extremely uneven! Pinky's used to be great years ago, but now they rush their customers and rely too much on their popularity! Won't be recommending them anymore! read more

Second time here. Thought I would give it another chance. Won't be going back tho. The place was packed and everything is so jammed together, after I got my pedicure I ruined 2 of my toes by banging them again the desk thing they have set up to hold the cash register. The girl who did my nails kept telling me how bad my cuticles are and she was trying to sell me some kind of salt hand massage and a gel manicure. I explained to her, numerous times, that I was taking a break from gel because of the damage it has done to my nails. Once again - don't you want gel?! Ugh. I changed my mind about the color polish I wanted on my nails and you'd think I asked her to cure the common cold or something. She gave me my hand massage immediately after she put the second coat of polish on my nails and she never had me wash my hands. The whole experience was weird and far from relaxing.
