I really would just give this place a 1.5 but 2 it is. I waited a couple weeks before posting this because I didn't want to get the nail tech fired even though maybe it would give her a wake up call. If the owners want to dispute whether or not I really went here and got a service done, I took a video of what the tech was doing during my service. Not only did she have a FaceTime call going on but at points she put my foot done while doing the exfoliation part and picked up her phone to start texting. I won't post the video but if the owner cares to see it they can contact me for it. Two of my nails were not cut properly and left slightly crooked. Atmosphere is nice, place seems clean but if your nail techs are on the phone like that don't expect repeat clients read more

Horrible service. A complete waste of time. Don't bother making an appointment because they don't keep them. They will take any walk in that comes in. I made a double mani/pedi appointment in advance for 2. We got there with time to spare, told them we had an appointment scheduled and they were only able to take 1 of us for a pedi. After 70 minutes of waiting, someone finally came to say they were ready for my pedi at which point the other person I went with was already completely done so i left. What a joke! read more

I just got my nails done the other day and my experience was not the best. I used to come here for years when they initially opened but stopped because their nail techs were becoming less and less skilled. I decided to come back when my usual tech at a different salon was booked. I asked for pink and white French ombre and wanted a narrow square shape. Even showed a picture. The owners wife (who won't give you what you ask for and just does what she wants) did my nails and gave me a shape that I didn't want. There were also humps in my nails that I asked her to file down. After my nails were done, my middle fingers looked crazy. One had a huge hump in the middle and the other was missing acrylic on the side. She told me to come back the next day so she could fix it and I did. I came back the next day and my nails are still not right. The left nail still has a hump in the middle And it's longer than the middle nail on my other hand. I asked her to fix it and she said she couldn't. So even if you pay money and ask for something specific, you can't get it? She isn't a nice woman and could stand a class on customer service. I can't wait to go to my regular nail tech so he can fix them. I won't be back again. This place is also filthy and falling apart. It will be closed soon I'm sure. There are hardly any decent techs in there. Enter at your own risk. Update: all of my nails were lifting after two weeks and my normal nail tech had to basically give me another full set. Also one of my nails just broke off after a week and I'm not rough with my hands. Yeah, don't go here. You will be wasting money and time. read more

Had an appointment today with Lindy (Lindy has been doing my nails for over 5 years & I wouldn't trust anyone else). I had the BEST pedicure & full set I have ever had highly HIGHLY recommend. Deluxe gel spa pedicure & treated myself to a full set (pink & white). 10 out of 10. Ask for Lindy!!! Worst nail salon ever . I went in two weeks ago On a 12pm appointment . The nail tech " (The owner of the salon) didn't greet me I thought Was very rude, then rushed me to pick out a color . When I finally sat in the chair . She was rushing so much she cut me a few time with her drill and didn't apologize for it , after she rushed the whole entire refill . The application was lumpy it didn't even look like I gotten a refill . Then refuse to give me my money back .. don't waste your time or money here . read more

This nail salon is getting two stars for the decor. It is beautifully decorated and larger than it appears on the exterior. They have wonderful pedicure chairs that gave me an incredible massage during my visit. Other than that... the service was not what I expected. Diva Nails is located in the Tilton Plaza right next to Island Gym and Fitness. I go to Island Gym and have seen many people in and out so I decided to finally give it a whirl with my sister. We were first greeted by the oh-so-not-so pleasant receptionist with her lack of facial expression and monotone voice with a combination of her attitude. We decided to get pedis ($25) and were directed to pick a color as per any salon and then one of the nail technicians guided us to our chairs immediately, no wait for a walk in at that time. The two technicians quickly began what became our half assed pedicures. They mostly spoke and whispered amongst each other about food and didn't ask us a single question. It wasn't until they heard another, actually friendly, technician (Tracy) offer her customers refreshments that they then offered us a beverage... because well, at that point they had no choice but to offer. My technician, whose name I do not know, did a lazy job with the cleaning of my toenails/feet but I will say that she gave a mean foot and leg massage! It wasn't until after she was done that I noticed she filed and clipped my left big toe nail to be rounded and my right big toe nail to be square rounded. After my toes dried, I headed to the front desk where my "favorite" receptionist sat miserably and asked what I had done and who I had. I informed her that I did not know my technician's name and that she had a black bow in her hair with a black shirt on. The receptionist decided to give me her lovely attitude and tell me that all of the technicians have bows on their heads when ... they clearly didn't. My technician was the only one. she then continued with her wonderful tone through the rest of the transaction. However, I didn't take it personally because she was equally unpleasant to each and every customer I saw her interact with. This truly made my first and last impression of this place. I come here for pedicures and manicures. They're fairly new but I absolutely love it there and they are so nice. The decor is like ceasers palace and there is no gross acetone smell. With pedicures they use the automatic callus remover which I love because it doesn't tickle and leaves my feet smooth. I just got the candle spa pedicure and it was just lovely and relaxing. The candle isn't wax but turns into like a lotion/paraffin and I left feeling amazing and relaxed. I come here a lot and they always remember me. Got my nails done a week and a half ago and doesn't even need a fill yet. I'm very impressed every time! read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I have been getting my eyebrows professionally done for years, and I have NEVER received such poor service. I recently moved to the area, and I went in this store to get my eyebrows done. I explained how I like my eyebrows to be done. The employee who later stated she was the manager, started to shape them, She stated that one side was thicker than the other. I had not had my eyebrows done in about a month so she had a canvas to work with to make them presentable and even. After she started, she showed me in a mirror, and I said at one point that it's not a problem, I could just go somewhere else if she's not sure she can shape them the way that I requested. She said no it's ok, I should let her finish because she was just getting started. She then proceeded to Pull the mirror out of my hand although I was still holding it. Following this, she BUTCHERED by eyebrows. I said I did not like it, and I was dismayed as I looked in the wall mirror. She proceeded to yell and flair her arms (including in front of my face) stating that she told me my eyebrows were even in the first place. I get my eyebrows done professionally ALL THE TIME. This was my first time coming to this store and I have NEVER received such poor service or such poor reception to feedback. She then went out to the main area and continued yelling, though now in her language to her colleagues. I stayed in the eyebrow room while I looked up a picture of how my eyebrows are normally done. She came by the door and I asked her to come so I could show her how the eyebrows are usually done. She refused to come in and said I must come out. I came out and showed her a picture, and she accused me of having eyebrow pencil in the picture that I showed her. I asked to speak to the manager, and she said that she was the manager. I explained that I'm a physician and I need to look presentable for work. This is why I was bothered by the uneven and rough job. She continued to yell and flair her arms, now in the main area of the store in front of costumers. She yelled for me to get out of her store and not come back. Utterly Unprofessional. I have never encountered such poor skill technique and also such poor costumer service. read more

I've always had a great experience here until they gave me nail fungus that has caused me over $800. This was before they started using the replacement plastic bags. I gave this place a second shot and guess what now I have foot fungus! Very disappointed with my experience. I was asked to pay upfront before even having my nails done which was a sign that I should of just left. The nail tech spoke in her language with the other nail tech the whole time while it was just the three of us in the salon, which was extremely awkward.The women cut my nails extremely short (after I spent weeks to grow them out) before even asking if that was what wanted and she also cut my finger...When she was finished she just got up and didn't even let me know she was done her job on my nails. This nail salon was my favorite for a while. Unfortunately that is not the case anymore. I used to go there at least once a month for a mani/pedi with my daughter. The last few times I've had the worst manicure I've ever gotten. I figured, since I didn't recognize anyone working there, it was bc they were new. No big deal. They used to carry Essie and OPI exclusively. I just went today for a regular manicure, noticed the basic polishes they now have, picked a regular OPI I would usually get and they changed me an extra $5. No where on their price board did it say there was an extra fee and they didn't say anything when I picked the brand. That's the last straw for me. My experiences here have been so hot and cold. I've come here with my young daughters, and the technicians are so kind and helpful. I guess that's why I've come back. However, today will be my last trip here. I came to get a pedicure. I had already taken off my polish. Like someone else mentioned, another technician offered a drink to her client. Mine did not, which is fine because I didn't need anything anyway. However, at some point in the process, a wad of used cotton ball got stuck on my foot. I was a little grossed out because I knew it wasn't mine because she never used a cotton ball on me because I didn't need polish removal. Then, at the end, while my feet were still in the water in the tub, she took out some filter thing (I guess) and pulling out more wet, soggy remnants of used cotton balls -- and threw them in the tub with my feet. This place is expensive for the quality of service they offer. For example a regular pedicure is $27-they barely scrubbed my feet, didn't apply an exfoliating scrub on my legs, or hot towel. At other locations a regular pedicure ranges from $20-25 and they take their time to scrub your feet, exfoliate your legs, apply hot towels, give you an above average massage for a lesser price. Also, they charged me $30 for a refill and the woman did not take my desires into consideration. I kept telling her the shape was not straight, the lines were not straight and or consistent through out my nails. She kept saying that she wasn't done she was going to fix it and what happens is I waited for her to be done just to see she messed up my look. Their business and quality of service has gone drastically down and they overcharge for lower quality services. Go somewhere else. read more

She put in lots of time and work just to make sure that the nails we great and that I was happy with them. Brenda is great! She does a wonderful job with acrylics. Very natural look. It is hard to get an appointment with her because of her busy schedule. She is worth finding time to see though. I haven't found anyone other than her that does a great pedicure though. Very nice inside, lots of color choices. The owner is very welcoming and always makes sure to offer you a beverage. They have a great loyalty program where you get money off your bill after so many visits. read more

This place gets no stars. First of all, they were all completely rude and were talking in Chinese about me in front of my face. It was very uncomfortable. I paid 45 dollars for dippy nails with acrylic and they looked like a 5 year old painted my nails. When I called back to complain they told me to come in the next morning to get them redone and when i got there.. they did not do what they promised. They put on one top of clear coat and then tried to charge me the SAME PRICE to get them redone. Absolutely horrible and I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

Also were very rude to me when I was asking to have my niece and I have manicures at the same time and pedicures at the same time. They decided not to give me a pedicure and just polish my nails until I asked why are you not giving me a pedicure and they told me I didn't ask for one! Then when I said it was not a relaxing experience they blamed me for the order of the services as they wanted to start with pedicures and I said I did too and you told me to go get my manicure first!!!!
