I did not do a trial with them prior and they took the time to learn what I was looking for and did an absolute perfect job with my tan for it to look so natural and to be the perfect shade. Terrible Experience, Ruined Wedding Weekend, and Zero Accountability…read more​Rating: (If I could give zero stars, I would) ​Do not go to this salon if you have a special event or care about the quality of your tan. What should have been a seamless part of a busy wedding week (August 4 through August 8) turned into an absolute disaster, completely mishandled by the staff and the owner, Eileen. ​Here is exactly what happened: ​Unprofessional Arrival: We were explicitly told by the technician to show up at least 10 minutes early. We arrived at 6:56 PM for a 7:30 PM appointment, only for the technician to show up just minutes before the appointment time with the salon completely locked and unlit. We had to wait outside, and when we finally got in, she was scrambling to turn on lights and set up the credit card machine, making the entire atmosphere feel rushed and chaotic. ​Wrong Solutions & Blatant Mistakes: Halfway through my mom's spray, the technician realized she used the wrong tanning solution on one of her arms, stopped, wiped the wrong tan off (though some still remained), and then switched solutions. For whatever reason, my mom's tan took on a completely orange look. Meanwhile, my tan was botched because the technician lost track of where she had sprayed, leaving obvious patchiness that multiple people pointed out to me all weekend long during the wedding events. ​Disorganized Products & Communication Failures: We were charged for disposable underwear that are complimentary at most other salons. Furthermore, we were handed two different types of soaps lumped together on the counter with zero instructions on who they were for or how to use them. We even had to remind the technician afterward just to send us the basic aftercare directions. ​Wider Industry Feedback: Other industry professionals have told us they frequently hear from clients who experienced uneven and orange-looking tans from this exact salon. ​Contradictory & Dismissive Management: The technician demanded that I send natural light photos, which I did. When I spoke with Eileen on the phone, she initially admitted she could see spots that were much lighter. But the moment I reminded her that I had no time to come back in to fix their mistakes, Eileen completely walked back what she said, claiming she couldn't tell from the photos and that I had to come in person. ​Ignoring Clear Scheduling Constraints: I had made it crystal clear from the very beginning that I had zero free time from Wednesday through Saturday due to being fully occupied with out-of-state wedding events. They also knew I worked on Wednesday before heading straight to a wedding gathering. Even knowing this, Eileen insisted I come in Thursday morning, completely ignoring my schedule. ​Insulting "Resolution": Refusing a refund of our $153.52 and only offering a "complimentary tan" when I have no time to return--and when it is now well past the development window--is useless. After this level of incompetence, no one would ever want to risk stepping foot back in this salon. ​Hiding behind a strict "no refunds" store policy does not excuse terrible service, ruined results for a major life event, and completely unprofessional behavior. Save your money, your skin, and your sanity, and go to a professional salon that actually knows what they are doing.
