What was confusing was that Nicole continued servicing the other client while leaving me waiting in the hallway to "see what she could do." The communication felt completely inconsistent. If my appointment couldn't be accommodated, I would have appreciated being told that upfront instead of waiting around for an answer that was apparently already decided. In the end, I wasted an hour of my time, left with no service, and ended up having to shave. Would recommend this place if you're looking for a unique way to spend an hour accomplishing absolutely nothing. Otherwise, I'd recommend saving yourself the trip.

She is appointment only and you can book yourself on her website. She uses hard wax and also has skincare products for sale (ingrown hair serums (Bush Balm and Fur Oil), exfoliators, and body scrubs, etc.). She also offers 3-month waxing packages. They do not need to be used within 3 months, but you can use them for your next 3 waxes. When I got home, I noticed there was about 5-10% hair left over but it was in a spot that I remembered European Wax Center staff either also missed or weren't able to get as well. I normally would go to a certain business that has locations around the country. But they were booked up for the time and day I was looking for. Then someone referred me to Blue Rose and when I arrived the esthetician was very nice. I have had bad experiences with small places like this before. So I was kind of nervous and asking a lot of questions. Which she was able to answer for me and helped ease my nerves. If you ever have been waxed you know it's not painless. But if you have a good person who is experienced then they can make it as painless as possible. And that is exactly what they did for me. The best part she didn't double dip or have used sticks in the wax. Again I have been to small shops before and noticed them trying to double dipping the stick to save money. That is not hygienic nor safe for others. So I always watch for these moves. But not here and I really felt comfortable and loved the atmosphere. I am now wishing she lived in my home state because I would be a regular customer. But I guess the next time I'm flying over I will make another appointment with her.
