I had been going to Trendy for about two years now just for a pedicure. One time I went and they cheated me out of a massage for the mini spa. Still deciding to give them another chance. Went Sunday and met Tina! New tech from Cape May. Her vibes were cool until I went back two days later asking her to fix my nails because I honestly wasn't pleased when I left but I was being rushed because Lily (1) had a party to go to at 6pm and the shop closed at 5, so I didn't feel comfortable asking for a fix as they were already rushing. Went to ask for a fix two days later on my next available day off and they started talking in their language very aggressively. Tina pushed my hand away and told me she couldn't make my nails look natural because I chose to get polish. Lol that's hilarious and upsetting at the same time. $175 down the drain. Im never going back because of Tina! And Lily (1) you definitely could've done better! Tina is so fake after she gets your money. She really doesn't know what shes doing. Ended up going to Gloss bar in EHT and I literally had to get a whole new fill. Tina didn't even do the fill properly! The worst 2.5 hrs spent at Trendy Nails because of Tina! read more

I have been coming to this place since I was 14 now I am 40 and I get to bring my mom. every Thursday every 3 weeks we go to trendy, it's our home away from home. Lily and all the the girls treat us like we are family. the girls have been there with me for prom, my wedding and bridal showers ! the amount of patience and attention they show my mom. is worth everythjng!!! we highly recommend trendy!! read more

Trendy Nails is great! I saw the dramatic event described in another review -- and I can confirm, it was not quite the chaos of a disaster movie. A woman did trip over some chairs (those chairs are sneaky), and my 10-year-old daughter just happened to be standing there like a tiny, unexpected airbag. The woman did not hit the wall because she landed on my daughter, who helped her up like a true salon superhero. Yes, my daughter bounced off the wall (kids are resilient), but she was totally fine and frankly kind of proud she saved the day. The woman got right back up and walked out like nothing happened. There was no stampede, no salon pileup, no "Trendy Nails: The Musical." It was just a busy Friday afternoon at a nail salon, the kind of "busy" you'd expect in the summer when everyone's toes are on display. I've been going to Trendy since last Fall. Lily #1 does my nails and Tam my pedicure. The service has been fine.....it is clean and always peaceful. This is my first summer going there and the walk ins and tourists seem to be more important to them than the locals. I went today and it was total chaos.....I got a manicure....pedicure and waxing. When I was drying my toes....one of the employees ask me to move....I said I'm leaving....she had her client behind me and she was pulling out the chair next to me. When I stood up to leave ....I got caught in the chaos....,fell back against the wall.....my arm is black and blue...my back and buttocks are killing me. This was a very small area....the problem was they are running it like a factory...all about the money....and it's certainly not cheap. I am waiting for a call from the owner. I normally don't get my nails done in this areas so I relied on Yelp to find a place. I was able to get a walk in appointment on a Saturday which I find to be rare! Everyone was super friendly and nice. The place was clean and Covid friendly with lots of dividers. I got a gel manicure which was $30, that's what I'm used too. It was really good. The technician paid a lot of attention to my cuticles and caring for my nails before painting. She also did a great job at painting my nails and making sure she went all the way up to the cuticle. Overall it was just like my place at home so I will definitely be coming back when I am in town again! read more

I went to this place based on the reviews. Everyone was nice and accommodating here but my gel mani I got yesterday has clear top coat pooling in my cuticles and on the sides of my nails and is uneven at the cuticle and starting to peel from corners. Granted I picked white but I always get white and pale colors at my regular nail salon at home and they normally look fine. Strangely enough one hand looks better than the other but if you look closely they look sloppy. I went back and Tina redid three of my nails TWICE bc of a tricky formula and was super sweet about it and took her time and I really just had the best experience. We even hugged at the end! Would highly recommend her. Bottom line, I think the formula of their gel polishes are bad because just three days later my two pointer fingers are chipping and the white has little cracks it look like scratches in it. I've never had white crack before. A gel mani should last at least two weeks. read more

Went in to get a toe polish change for a 1pm appointment my friend and I had. There were 3 ladies working. I was seen right away, but she seemed extremely rushed and cut my toes so whack. She barely painted my toes all the way, and painted part of my skin. When it was finished, I noticed she didn't paint my pinky toe. Asked her to fixed it, and it still was bad. My two friends and I called ahead to make appointments and showed up a little early because we had the free time. The owner was very accommodating and we ended up getting sat down very soon after we got there! The nail technicians were all friendly and professional. My friend and I got mani/pedis and another got a refill for her acrylic nails. All three of us were very impressed by the thoroughness of the technicians, we really felt pampered! My friend commented that she never gets such good service when she gets her acrylics done, as the technician cleaned her nails underneath the acrylics which she says rarely happens in other salons. The salon was also very clean, bright, and it was nice to be able to park right out front. It's right over the bridge from Ocean City, and it's well worth the little trip. After a week on the beach, my toes were ready for a pedicure. I searched for a nearby salon near my hotel and Trendy came up. I was hesitant to cheat on my local nail salon, but it was worth it. Trendy's staff was kind and attentive. I recieved a regular pedicure with a long and relaxing massage, followed by a perfect gel manicure and an eyebrow waxing that was done with extreme precision! At first glance, it looks lovely. Do NOT waste your time or money here. The Owner does even speak to customers. I went here for a few months when my tech was here and will never go back. The employees don't even try to talk to customers, it is like a morgue in there. I am used to everyone talking to one another and it being a fun outing, this is NOT. I have never been to a place where there is so much tension. The employees try to overhear your conversation. I recommended a friend to try it at the beginning and she wasn't able to get to my tech. The girl that took care of her refused to give her the color polish she wanted and put a much brighter color on her. My friend returned home and removed it. OMG...AND she paid money for this.
