No cell phones, no loud conversations, relaxing piano music playing, and scenes of serene places around the world on the flat screen TV. At Annie's, the front door was open, and I could hear the electronic voice of the pedestrian crossing guide on the corner throughout my gel manicure, which was well done, but I'm glad I hadn't booked a pedicure also. I'm going to try another salon that's closer to my home. I may go back to Annie's, but it's not my #1 choice. Sorry.

Service was very quick, which was nice because the salon was quite full and we (2 adults and 2 kids) walked in requesting 3 pedicures and one full set. They were very accommodating to the young girls, going out of their way to give them chairs close to their Moms and adding glitter polish on top of regular colors. But FAST does not equal quality. Pedicures didn't have much of a massage, just applying lotion to the legs (they also charged full price for the 6 year olds as they did for the adult, which seems dicey). The most upsetting was my full set. Like I said, she was very quick, but the result was quite subpar (also zero massage, hand or shoulders). I asked for short almond shape, and you can see in the photos that they are barely close to oval, and the overall work is sloppy. I was picking off bits of acrylic/polish all over my fingers for hours after.

She shaped them just how I asked and added in some extra finishing touches to make them look more festive for Christmas. I read other reviews and realized I'm not alone with my experience. It's a great looking salon but just be warned that the quality of work is well below standard.

My massage therapist, Tisha, was amazing--so kind and professional, and her massage truly melted all of my stress away.
