For 5 years now I have been coming to Jackee's nails in Ventor, NJ and Cindy has been my favorite person for my care. There are many wonderful woman who work here. If you should find you are not happy with something just let them know and they will fix your concern. FYI: I have not had any issues. I have been very very happy with their services. I've usually don't complain because I walk in and don't have an appointment so you get what you get. Sometimes the work is good- sometimes not so but that's ok. Last time was my last time. It was busy and my manicurist was in a hurry. While cutting my nails, she cut my skin and I was bleeding. She was so upset. I felt badly for her. She tried her best to help me. Jackie walked over and touched my back and whispered "sorry." I couldn't get the manicure I usually get but settled for gel nail polish (not my favorite.). My problem is after if being cut, I would have thought that Jackie would have offered a little better customer service offer a discount , next one free? I wouldn't have accepted it- I would have paid full price... full tip- But I had my skin cut- injured/ an I'm sorry whisper... I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

TL;DR If you want fast and no frills, this place is great. If you are looking for quality work and more of an experience, look elsewhere. Service was very quick, which was nice because the salon was quite full and we (2 adults and 2 kids) walked in requesting 3 pedicures and one full set. They were very accommodating to the young girls, going out of their way to give them chairs close to their Moms and adding glitter polish on top of regular colors. But FAST does not equal quality. Pedicures didn't have much of a massage, just applying lotion to the legs (they also charged full price for the 6 year olds as they did for the adult, which seems dicey). The most upsetting was my full set. Like I said, she was very quick, but the result was quite subpar (also zero massage, hand or shoulders). I asked for short almond shape, and you can see in the photos that they are barely close to oval, and the overall work is sloppy. I've been several times and do NOT use the owner Jacky. Not only is she rude and nasty, but does not do a good job. They argued with me when I told them I did not bring cash and needed to pay with my credit card. They were rude and I told them I would go to an ATM and bring back the cash. They didn't trust me and then decided to take my card. My nail polish did not last the week and most girls here to not do a good job. They rush you through as fast as they can. If you need waxing services, hard pass. I went in for a lip wax and left with three bloody spots where she tweezed hair. I was wondering why she didn't hand me a mirror at service completion to see her work. I only saw the blood spots when I checked the mirror in my bag after I paid, tipped and started walking home. I just shook my head at the crappy work. I'm not one to get my knickers in a bunch over something that can't be undone. Fortunately, I carry alcohol swab packets in my bag, a COVID practice that keeps germs at bay. In this case, I immediately wiped my upper lip to avoid any infection. She asked me what length I wanted and when I told her I wanted them longer she told me no and cut them shorter than I had asked. I went there after 2 Weeks and suddenly the prices are higher. When I came before the manicurist gave a shirt shoulder back massage but when I asked the first said it was extra. When she was polishing my nails I asked to brush the tips to and she answered okay. I didn't see her do it when she sent to the dryer and I asked about it. First she insisted she did it but then said it would be extra money. I paid 18 and gave her a tip. I told her it is very little and she rolled her eyes and sighed. I said forget about it and then she quickly touched up the tips. She stormed out of there afterwards. She was so rude. I even said something to the manager who went on in Vietnamese. Very inexpensive, a pedi is $18 and then I decided to add eyebrows ($5) and a full set ($25). A very spacious is salon and for once, the nail artists aren't obnoxious! After years of getting mani/pedis here, I will not go back. I know that summer is very busy so I always make an appointment. The experience started with being told to wait in the other room rather than look at the polish colors. Wait time was 15 minutes even though we had an appointment. The whole time we felt rushed. When I asked why I did not get a base coat for my manicure I got told there was no need. I needed two nails repaired but when I asked she didn't want to be bothered. Jackie's is great! I went in for a pedicure and powder dip manicure, 55$ total. The woman who did my pedicure did a great job and even got out two ingrown nails! Ok look, I don't profess to know a whole lot about pedicures, as I've probably only had 2 others in my entire life, but I do know that $25 is insanely cheap for both of these. After we came back from the beach my friend asked If I was up for a "mani and a pedi".... I'm a bit of a self professed metrosexual and considering I had to work for 6 hours on a Saturday while I was at the beach (life of a venture capitalist) I was definitely game for something relaxing. We went to Jackee's and the girls whisked us away and got right to work. The calf massage I received was divine.... I damn near fell asleep in the massage chair. After the 20min "process" I was then taken by the same girl to have a manicure. Several cuticle cuttings and nail filings later I was done (and, of course, I asked for them not to buff or add any clear polish to my nails) For $25, I'm definitely going back. We sat around, watched the Olympics, talked women, cars, and business, all while getting hand and foot massages... fantastic. read more

i went to there nail salon, all I wanted was a white acrylic set simple right? well that's what I thought, I showed them a picture of white long nails they told me that it would be $60 for it to be longer so they told me that I would pay $55 if it was the length they said to do so me thinking it would be ok, it wasn't they cut them really short and when she was painting them they were was like a line that looked like it wasn't painted properly and at the end they looked so uneven, short, clumpy, and overall just terrible and I was very upset I just wanted a cute white set. read more

I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. My gel chipped the very next day and now 1 week later my pedicure polish is chipped. This cost $45 and a $10 tip. Not cheap at all so I expect my mani to last 2 weeks and my pedi to last a lot longer than 1 week. I am so disappointed in this service.
