Hi really like it here. It kind of depends who you get, though. Quinn is, apparently, the manager and she is phenomenal. I've gone two other times for pedicures. One pedicure was also amazing. The last time I went, however, it was not good at all. Also when I went to pay I was told that I got a"deluxe" pedicure and that it was going to be $50! I did not ask for a deluxe pedicure and refused to pay twice as much. I couldn't even tell the difference! It took a lot of back-and-forth bantering to actually pay for a regular pedicure which is what I asked for. This is not the first time it's happened to me that I've been "up sold" without my agreeing upon it. I do not appreciate that at all. I have been to Pinkys 3 numerous times. Yesterday I went for an OPI powder dip manicure. I have their app and they sent me a coupon, so I figured why not. A lot of friends have tried the powder (at other salons) and rave about it. Well, I'm not raving. My manicure is atrocious. My nails look gritty and are matte finish as opposed to a shine that I am used to. Kevin used the Dremel on my cuticles after it had dried because the powder dried all over them. Needless to say, he caught my skin a couple of times. Moreover, I still have hardened polish on my cuticles. When I went to pay, the woman asked me if I liked it. I said, "no, I don't think so....is this how it's supposed to look?" She showed me her nails and I instantly thought they were gel. And she said, "no, they're powder." Mine looked nothing like hers. The manicures and pedicures are wonderfully done, but success has given them dreadful time management problems. Even when I have an appointment, I always have to wait. And while I am waiting, often other people are taken first. And I have seen people with appointments turned away. I was visiting family in EHT and wanted to get my nails done. It was honestly the worst experience ever aside from the fact that I spent time with my mom. I believe the woman who did my nails was the owner. Her and whoever sat next to her were incredibly rude, gave 0 craps about my nails and continue to hurt me and make me bleed. I went for my first mini/pedi last week. After reading good reviews, I called to make the appointment and was told that the regular mani/pedi was $45. I was taken on time and the salon was decorated nicely. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the service provided. The entire mani/pedi was over in 40 minutes with the foot massage being completely rushed. In addition, I was told that the price was $50. As soon as we walked in the door after making an appointment, we were given about 30 seconds to pick out about a color. I felt very rushed all for my mom to get her toe cut during her pedicure and later it formed a blood blister under her toe. I'm sure this was a once in a while mistake, but it was careless and we should not have paid for this service. I have been coming to this nail salon for awhile no problems, sometimes there is a wait which I understand. Unfortunately that was not the case this visit. I had made my appointment and arrived 10 minutes early and waited at the door like usual, the receptionist was with another customer so one of the nail techs opened the door and had me sign in. Two customers walked in and asked the nail tech not the receptionist how long of a wait for the two of them, she had said 20 minutes. They then walked out as they had no appointment and couldn't wait that long, another nail tech ran to the customers car and brought them in with no wait. I was then asked to wait outside as they were not ready for me!! I waited a little while and ended up leaving with no service!! I will never come back to this nail salon!! They recently upgraded all their tables and pedi chairs. Even though they will take walk ins, they get busy. I always make an appointment and I never have to wait. I normally go to a salon on the island but since this one is closer to my house, I figured I would try it. First off, all I wanted was one color for fingers and one different color for my toes and I explained this to the girl who then explained it back to me, so she understood me. Luckily I was mostly paying attention when the girl was doing my toes because she was using the wrong color. When I corrected her, she then started using the other color on the remaining toes. I thought she was correcting herself but then she did the same thing on the other foot. I decided to just go with the color she used most even though it wasn't at all what I wanted. Then during the manicure, I said to cut my nails very little so that they weren't stumps seeing as though i grew my nails out so that I could get them done in the first place. I left with little ugly stumps that were cut uneven and then paid $80 for the experience. I also was bleeding from being picked at so much on one finger and she kept spraying it with alcohol. Reading the rest of the reviews shows that they have done little to fix any of their issues. Probably should offer money back. I will not be going back. read more

I had my nails done a bit a week ago. One of my nails broke off completely literally every day for the past 4 days. As a professional in the industry I am left completely disappointed and unsatisfied with the service I received there. I had a similar issue months back, I called to voice my complaint and they told me to go back in and they would take care of it and because I chose a different color I was charged without notice. At the end of the day we all work very hard for the money that we have and the getting my nails done is the one luxury thing I do to care for myself. I made an appointment after reading all the good reviews for a gel mani and pedi. Wendy was the one doing my nails. This woman was yapping away on her phone loudly and FaceTiming the entire 1.5 hours I was there not asking me a single question during my mani pedi. I interrupted her conversation twice. Once to tell her the water was burning hot and another time to tell her I wanted my nails square. The entire time she was staring off into space while doing my nails and chatting away. I felt like I was such a bother. A customer called and asked to speak with her to make an appointment for her pedi and she says, "omg this woman won't stop talking she wants to chit chat and I don't have time because we're busy" and goes back to talking on her cellphone the rest of the time. If you don't have the time to pay attention to what you're doing while you're doing a customers nails and everything is such a bother then stay home and talk on the phone. I left upset and as for my nails, they turned out kind of lumpy and I have gel on my cuticles so I won't be surprised if it starts chipping tomorrow. I wanted a design originally too but she didn't ask and I didn't even want her to do one anymore after my experience. I had an appt with Angel today, simply the best! I had a fill & pedicure done, she gives the best leg massage & is very patient with my ticklish feet! I am on my feet in service industry & so look forward to my pedis with Angel, she brings my feet back to fighting form! First visit Kim cuts me twice and overheats my nails on the drill. Second visit today I go in for a pedi and pink and white fill. Appointment at 2pm. I let the receptionist know what I was there for and my appointment. I sit down promptly as they were busy. Group of four young girls come in for their pedi appointment and they get all sent back right away. Really? I guess my money isn't green enough. Envy has better pedicures anyway. I work at an office and our whole staff, 6 girls, frequents this location since it opened. However we will not be returning. Each of us had multiple experiences where we had appointments and still had to wait 30+ minutes. One of us was told to come back in 15 mins and when they returned they were told they could no longer take them because other people came in while they were gone. Another girl waited 30 mins, with appointment, and then told they were closing and couldnt take her. Numerous times we were told 10min wait that actually turned out to be 30+mins. The facility is beautiful and comfortable but the service is terrible. And thank goodness there are many other nail salons we can go to that would love to have our business. read more
