Her vibes were cool until I went back two days later asking her to fix my nails because I honestly wasn't pleased when I left but I was being rushed because Lily (1) had a party to go to at 6pm and the shop closed at 5, so I didn't feel comfortable asking for a fix as they were already rushing. Went to ask for a fix two days later on my next available day off and they started talking in their language very aggressively. Tina pushed my hand away and told me she couldn't make my nails look natural because I chose to get polish. Lol that's hilarious and upsetting at the same time. $175 down the drain. Im never going back because of Tina! And Lily (1) you definitely could've done better! Tina is so fake after she gets your money. She really doesn't know what shes doing. Ended up going to Gloss bar in EHT and I literally had to get a whole new fill. Tina didn't even do the fill properly! The worst 2.5 hrs spent at Trendy Nails because of Tina!

One pedicure was also amazing. The last time I went, however, it was not good at all. Also when I went to pay I was told that I got a"deluxe" pedicure and that it was going to be $50! I did not ask for a deluxe pedicure and refused to pay twice as much. I couldn't even tell the difference! It took a lot of back-and-forth bantering to actually pay for a regular pedicure which is what I asked for. This is not the first time it's happened to me that I've been "up sold" without my agreeing upon it. I do not appreciate that at all. If it were not for this experience it would definitely be a five star review.

Even the receptionist seems unprofessional. The whole salon felt chaotic with employees talking loudly across the room to each other, customers looking frustrated, and just an overall stressful atmosphere. From what I saw, the employees didn't even seem happy working together, and it showed in the service. I could honestly write so much more, but this review would be way too long. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. I personally won't be coming back, and I'd recommend finding another nail salon instead of supporting any of the Pinky's locations. Sucks that Pinky's has gone downhill ever since that owner left because the chain was amazing back then.

Apparently it's an additional $25 for pink "Gel" polish. "Gel" nail polish is everywhere. They need to stop acting like it's such an extravagant choice. Besides, it a quicker turnover for them because it dries so fast. We are literally doing them a favor by choosing the gel polish. Don't get it twisted, I am prepared to spend money in a salon, I just don't appreciate the subterfuge and the downright lies on their website. I'm surprised they don't charge to use their bathroom or sink to wash your hands. Expect to be over charged. Expect them to try and upsell you on everything. The next day, the polish on my toes turned to look like I had a toe fungus which I did not. When I returned I showed Van what happened and she told me I must have used something to cause that. She tried removing it, but the discoloration was all the way through. I've never had a problem with polish on my toes in the past. I couldn't wear sandals on vacation, they looked horrible. The gel manicure I got that day had a nail break within a few days. I was never offered compensation for the bad polish on the pedicure and after the nail broke so soon after my gel manicure, I believe I need to find a new salon. Please don't waste your money.

Review for June 2018…read more Had a great experience at Kelly's. Called the week of for an appointment and was lucky to end up with Janinne. The welcome wasn't so great (i think the receptionist was on break) and we started 15 min late but all was well with the shampoo cut and style which is what i came for. I like my hair cut without blunt ends and otherwise am not too picky. Janinne cut it perfectly and was super friendly for a chat. Will be back in a few months!
