Food- This establishment does not offer food so this part of the review is not applicable…read more Cost- During my first visit here I did a gel mani and a regular pedi. I personally don't get my nails done often and so I found their service to be comforting and interactive because they asked me questions on what color I would be interested in and etc. I don't quite remember the actual total cost of everything but it was comparably cheaper than other places that I usually get my nails done at. Environment: A little hole in the wall, not a ton of space but it was fairly clean. The items used were sterilized and I did not find any red alerts in regards to their cleanliness. Service: I found their service to be great! They don't talk much but the lady I had did a fantastic job! Uniqueness: This place is a gem because of the cost! I don't want to spend a fortune on just my nails and toes to be honest.

I've been to this place years ago and since near my hotel I decided to go back. The name is changed…read moreto Nikki nails. I showed the lady exactly how I wanted my nails done by explaining and also with pictures. She shaped them perfect. I got glitter polish and then she dipped each nail in a jar of loose glitter which enhanced the nails. She then put clear polish on top but because of the loose powder the manager told her she should have put uv gel. The clear polish gave a smokey ice effect which was ugly. She added more clear and then put me back under dryer which had the same effect. She was able to fix it by just adding uv gel but it left a bumby coat that ruined the fresh set. She would have had to drill everything off and start over. Didn't want to wait but will go back in couple days to get it fixed and the manager said no charge. If it hadn't been for clear polish these nails would have been awesome!

Came here to update my original post. I got an acrylic set for $72 and was somewhat satisfied…read more I went back after 3 weeks to remove them and found myself very disappointed. The nail tech drilled too much of my nail off on almost all my nails, leaving me with super thin and sensitive fingerbeds. I was thinking of getting another set but I'm going to have to wait for my nails to get healthy again. I would rather her have left a thin layer of acrylic than drilling too much of my natural nail away. It hurts to open cans and do certain things now. I have to wait for them to grow back. I think this place is good for simple mani/pedis but anything more technical, I'd go elsewhere.

My friend who usually does my nails canceled bc she was sick so I went here as a recommendation…read morefrom my boss. She told me to book with Rosa or Annie, so I did. I was warned not to book with Tara. I noticed halfway through my set that the name Tara was on the nail light my artist was using. When taking off my cuticles she was very rough, made me bleed bad, said I have thin skin, then continued to yank the skin at the edge off post push back. The inspo photo (attached) looked NOTHING like what I got. They were thick and the shaping (allegedly coffin?) was just so awkward. I spent 90 on them + a 20 tip so I was just gonna stick them out until an hour later one popped right off when I picked a bucket up at work. It would've been one thing if it hurt, because that would've proved it was on there pretty good. But I only noticed it falling bc I watched it fall. It came CLEAN OFF an hour after I paid. When I called for a refund the lady working the front desk promptly asked "What did you do?" which as someone who works in customer service, is probably the last thing I'd start out with. They offered to fix it for free which I politely explained that I had an event coming up and I didn't want them doing my nails again beforehand. Then she told me Tara offered a whole new set, which granted was incredibly generous, but I explained again I just wanted a refund. I got very frustrated towards the end of the call because at one point they offered half (45$) refunded and a repair which turned into no refund when I said no. I ended up being not very kind then hung up. Went back to my phone at the end of my shift and found that they'd left me a voicemail abt my refund. I was on the phone with her for FIFTEEN MINUTES. She started off by offering to have the owner herself come in "special" for me at 9.30 the next morning to fix it herself, and kept on pushing this offer after I explained I have work. Reoffered the fix and half refund. I wore them down to a half refund alone. It took her five minutes to explain to me that their system was new so instead of giving me half of my money back on my card it would be cash. When I went the next day, she took a photo of my hand and made me sign a piece of yellow notepad paper ? Then before giving me the money she told me the artist was very good and had 25 years of experience. I've since told this story to two of my friends who say they've had her (after I gave description; pixie cut, silver earpiece in, 40s/50s(?) ) and they both said they had similar experiences. Note: the nail with the cuticle that got cut was the one that fell off. She did the prep differently because of the cut, but used a brush I watched her take from a random drawer then put back in after touching the wound. I did notice some signs of infection a few days later !!
