Kim did exactly what I asked for and was meticulous about the details and making sure I was happy with the result. I came in with a bad set of acrylics that needed to be reshaped and thinned out. My wife and I come here about every 3 months. They do a great pedicure, clipping, sanding, cutting and coloring. Communication is very difficult, they just don't understand what you are saying to them so don't plan on any type of conversation. They have a man there that is quite rough with his massage, he moves fast and punches the bottom of your foot, I think I would rather have a relaxing massage than a rough one. You can ask for someone else but it seems like they have a plan and don't want to change it. Yea we will go back. read more

My daughter wanted gel and every color she picked they said wasn't available. The girl didn't like her choices of color and kept trying to get her to change it. We went back and forth for about 12 minutes in regards to a color. Ugh! Last they butchered my toes! They cut them so short they look horrible. Love getting my nails done here! The pedicures include thorough massages. They take their time and make sure it's a good experience. I fall asleep during the massages cause they're so peaceful! The polish also looks so beautiful!! I highly recommend Pinky's! And their prices are great- not too bad for all that you're getting! read more

Me and my friend called and made an appointment, there was a slight bit of miscommunication on the price, that wasn't displayed on the price bores either, but whatever I'm very happy with the result. Not impressed. Went for a sisters pedicure day. Made an appointment since it was 6 girls. Should of known that making an appointment wouldn't matter still had to wait. The polish looks horrendous it's not even and it's spotty my nails are uneven they clipped and filed them and still couldn't get them even. One of the girls got a full set of nails and the lady destroyed her cuticles she looks like she has cuts all over by her nails I hope she doesn't end up with an infection with all the open wounds! I've given this place too many opportunities. Today was my last day. I will not be going back. They don't sanitize all their tools, especially the electric files they use for acrylic nails. This can be a huge problem if they cut you like they did to me today. Technicians do not wash their hands in between clients. The place is pretty dirty and dusty. Their nail files and buffer are so used it is gross. And oh yea, 4 out of the 7 licenses they have displayed expired in 2015. The other 3 expire at the end of the month. How is this possible? Both my shellac pedicure and shellac manicure were fantastic. Great price, great cleanliness, great service and great results. I'm picky about my French tips and the gal listened to how I wanted them then did them perfectly! My manicure was fantastic- the girl doing my polish gave me options because my nails were so weak but was very clear about the price differences between products. My shellac manicure literally lasted an entire MONTH without chipping. This. Is. Unheard. Of. Fantastic place, my new spot for sure. I drive 40 minutes from Sandy UT just to go here! This place is the worst customer service ever. I don't expect much in the way of communication at any nail salon but they treated my little old grandma so rudely and roughly it was almost appalling. Plus this place is very, very dirty. I wouldn't even wash my underwear in their spa tubs. So gross. read more

Just went in for a gel polish change, so I didn't expect anything fancy. But I could have at least had them painted cleaner and not have the tip of my nails painted and stuck to the tips of my fingers. Bummed about it :/ not the worst, but definitely could have been better. read more

I got a really bad shellac manicure here and horrible customer service! The color is so unevenly coated, I can see the thin spots, she missed the edges of my nails, and it didn't dry all the way in between her coats. They were busy and in a hurry and moved me to four different chairs during my time. I didn't talk to them very much but they were very rude to other customers who asked questions. read more

SUPER upset with this nail salon. I've gone here for awhile and they usually are always great and I never have had a problem. BUT this time I went in I got my toes done it was $35 total and I had cash for the tip. I crossed out the tip on the receipt and wrote in $35 and they handed me the receipt for $35 back and handed her $7 dollars cash!! Went home checked my bank statement and my card was ran for $47!!! Went in there and they pretty much said no and the girl at did them was avoiding me. Bottom line they did nothing about it!!! I never got my money back and I'll be reporting them to my bank. I am visiting from Arizona and picked this place based on reviews but I totally disagree. It was disgusting. They "cleaned" out the tubs with water and the towel they just used on the previous client and their tools were not sterilized. The cuticle clippers had dried skin on them and the regular clippers were rusty. I had made an apt for me and my two daughters and they were clearly annoyed at having to paint my girls' nails. Very disappointed. Now let's hope I don't need any antibiotics. read more

I asked for a manicure with gel nails. When I left I had gel on my cuticles as well as my fingers around my nail, as well as one of my fingers wasn't even cured all the way so it was rigged and wrinkled and my nails were all uneven lengths and shapes. I noticed all of this after I had left, so I decided to make another trip for them to fix my nails (I live about 20 minutes away). When I walked in and asked for someone to fix my nails, the owner (at the first station) was very defensive and asked what was wrong with them, I explained and she proceeded to stand up and look at my nails. She told me that there was nothing wrong with them and that I should have gotten longer acrylic nails put on. I let her know that's not what I wanted and that just because I have natural nails, that I can still get gel manicures and have before at other places and have left pleased. I asked her if I could get them fixed and she told me to come back in an hour. I explained that I live 20 minutes away and that it would be my third trip to the nail shop and that I didn't want to do that. She then got very angry and upset, she stood up grabbing my hand with file in hers to "fix" them. I asked her to not because she was frustrated and I wasn't even sitting in a chair, we were standing. I asked her to please give my money back then, if no one was going to service me and she refused. I could not believe the experience I had. And it was in front of servers other clients. At one point the lady who did my nails stood up toward the end of the salon and started telling me I was wrong too. It was extremely unprofessional and will not ever be returning. I would never recommend this business to anyone. I hope that $30 was worth an awful review. read more

We tried getting our nails done somewhere else and had to go to pinkys to get them fixed. My sister and I just got our nails done for Halloween and we love them. Miley is the only manicurist in 20 years of having my nails done to shape them the way I like them. She looked at their shape before she started, seemed to made a mental note and got to work. When she was done they were perfect! For the first time ever I didn't have to go home and re-shape them! She was timely, efficient and gentle. Which is important to me because I hate it when a manicurist is in a hurry for whatever reason. I usually end up with nicked cuticles and sore nails beds. That's kind of a drag and defeats the purpose of getting your nails done. Scabs are NOT attractive. My biggest pet peeve is when the manicurist working on my nails is the only one in the salon who answers the phone, handles the money exchange for other manicurists, or has to take care of walk-ins. I'm very loyal once I find someone who is good, and I've changed manicurists at this salon over that issue. She was a great manicurist but I don't have the time or the patience mainly because when someone is trying to multitask like that, that's when things go wrong. I've had it happen one too many times so I've learned my lesson. Miley is also the first person to give me a pedicure (which I usually avoid like the plague!) that didn't beat my legs up in an attempt at some kind of medieval massage, or have me squirming in my chair and yelling "UNCLE!" Another bright spot, she didn't chastise me for not wanting her to shave the callouses off my feet with that cheese grater thing. *shudder*. P.s. Those things are illegal in California....for a reason. All in all Pinky Nails is a wonderful salon with lovely ladies there to help you with your mani/pedi - wax on, wax off - Shellac - gel nail needs. Ceanliness-4. Outcome of my nails- 3 at best. I would never have written this review if my nails hadn't started peeling two days after getting my acrylic fill, and gel top-coat manicure. My manicurist answered the phone 5 times, and helped 3 walk ins while doing my nails. That was frustrating. I wish some of the other staff would've pitched in to help her because she seemed like she was distracted and in a rush every time she came back to my nails. She didn't ask me if I liked the shape (which I didn't) but she's also not my usual nail lady so I didn't fuss. This place seemed AMAZING!!! at first... the whole experience was great, things seemed pretty clean, and the pedicures felt great. I got gel nails. I also went with my mother, who got acrylics. The lady (I believe her name was Tina) did both of our nails. On my mom she used a natural alternative, that was less damaging to the nails. Great, but expensive experience. I thought. I was doing the dishes a few days later, when one of my GEL nails chipped. I was furious, but didn't think to go back. The NEXT DAY (3 days after my nails had been done!) ALL of my nails began to chip, and gel, once it chips (which is typically only towards a week) comes off in one piece. I was very mad about this. It cost a lot of money for me to get my nails done. $50 for a gel mani and regular pedi (the toes are chipped too) and $75 for my mom to get a "Deluxe" pedicure. Normally, this place is spectacular... especially for the price. The staff is honest, efficient, kind, and they do a great job. Today, I went in and a man who gave me a pedicure last summer was there. He was awful and as luck would have it, he did my pedicure tonight. Not only did he smudge polish and not get it all of the way on my nails, he started asking me why I don't have children, if I had seen a doctor, and what the doctor said. Not only do I want to go to the salon to relax, I don't want to be asked questions about my reproductive system... ESPECIALLY by a stranger. My friend and I went there for a pedicure last Thursday. We paid 30.00 for the works. We were suppose to get the hot wax treatment too. When I called up to complain they said we got the jelly which was suppose replace the wax. Well, the jelly is suppose to be 23.00 - a 7.00 difference. Today, Jenny happened to be the one who did my nails and I have never been happier. She also did my eyebrows and did an amazing job on them too. The salon is clean and professional.
