Oh man, I really wanted to like this place, but it has some room for improvement. Pros: the staff was attentive and kind and seemed keen to address any issues with the nails (for reference, had a very straightforward, single color OPI gel manicure, and eyebrow wax). Cons: inconsistency throughout manicure (filed down one hand, forgot to do the other without prompting). This was quickly remedied with reminding the technician, but it just felt kind of weird that it had to happen at all. Veryyyyy slow service, and it wasn't due to an overtly meticulous technician. Application of both gel and eyebrow wax was painfully slow-I'm not sure why. Price point for gel manicure was medium-high, but $18 for eyebrow waxing is wild behavior! I've been to a lot of nail salons in my 35 years on this earth, and I haven't had an eyebrow wax at a nail place cost that much outside of dedicated wax studios like European Wax Center or UniK. All in all: nails look good enough with some patience and technician prompting, eyebrow wax was far too costly relative to service and ambience. I had a jam packed day and was unable to return, but I'm extremely disappointed and feel like I wasted over $100. Amy was my nail tech and she was amazing! So cute and kind. She gave me a full set and a gel pedicure. I showed her lots of pictures and she helped me pick the cutest combo. I made an appointment 2 days prior to going in. It was really slow while I was there (around 10am), which the nail technician said was unusual for them. It was a nice place, quiet and relaxing. The nail technician was very pleasant and did a pretty good job. No cuts or damage to my cuticles. I got a full set of colored acrylic nails and had little designs painted on the ring fingers. Because of my horrible experience at Nail Crush, I decided to go to to a different salon. The nail tech told me that the previous nail tech(from Nail Crush) did not take off all of the gel polish before putting on new polish & also took off some of my natural nails. She could see the redness of the nail where it happened. The previous nail tech should not have been doing nails, please be careful on who you let do your nails. They were kind & professional over the phone, where several other salons were abrupt, or flat out rude. I also looked at the photos listed on all the sites; the work done speaks louder than any review (the odd unhappy client happens, so I take reviews with a grain of salt) The salon is clean & so classy; all the employees were so kind! I am impressed! They were very busy, but Nikki took the time to personalize my experience, & make me feel like a long time regular. She did a fantastic job, & solved all my broken nail issues. Got pedicures here with my boyfriend. Both nail technicians were super nice and took their time.

I've been to NailCrush twice. The first time I went for a manicure and the girl that did it was amazing! I received a gel manicure and it lasted until it grew out too much to tolerate; 3 weeks. The second time I went a male removed the "soak-off" gel polish with a small chisel, as if I'd had acrylic nails. The second gel manicure lasted less than 2 days when it started to peel and chip. My nails under the gel polish are now destroyed. Thin, peeling, very bendy. I was hesitant about gel polish because I had heard it can damage your nails. I was assured by the receptionist that the new formulas are safe because they soak off and don't need to be chiseled. My nails are in terrible condition now because of the second attendant chiseling off supposed soak-off polish. I don't want to risk another careless, inattentive manicurists. I walked in, with my two daughters (age 5 & 3) in tow. I didn't have an appointment. I felt like they were happy to accommodate me, & my girls. We all opted for manicures. Steve took both of my girls to their chairs & started on their nails. I was impressed at how well he interacted with them. Because he made them feel comfortable, I was put at ease as well. This place is awesome! Went here for my first time today to get a gel manicure. Vanessa helped me and was SO lovely to talk to and so talented! The appointment was fast and painless; Vanessa was as sweet as could be even though I changed my mind a couple times on the color I wanted. EDIT: Took off a star because the second time I went in, I called because I was running a couple minutes late (100% out of my control, there had been an accident) and the receptionist insisted that they would not have time for me if I showed up a few (literally five) minutes late. The call was a courtesy call and she suddenly wanted to turn me away! I showed up anyway and basically wouldn't take no for an answer, they ended up doing a great job. I had looked up some pictures on Pinterest to show the nail tech what I wanted to have done (I can't remember the techs name) but he told me "they were too expensive" and didn't want to do them. I love getting my nails done here! Discovered them about 6 years ago and don't go anywhere else. They are friendly and the place is beautiful. The price has gone up some but it's understandable. Also, the biggest thing to me is that I love they speak English out on the floor so you can understand them. I asked for a relatively easy design, and she attempted but it was no good. At which so she gave me a basic flower, (You know the one I'm talking about ) . She also asked if I liked the length I had on my nail, which I said I did and didn't want to go much shorter. She ended up cutting pretty much most the length off. I plan to visit this spa one more time to break the tie. I will update my review accordingly. I have been to this nail salon two times. I love that they have multiple pedicure stations so my girlfriends and I can enjoy a pedicure together. The massage chairs are novel and add to the experience. The first time I came here was with 6 other ladies. We all had great service and a good time. My technician (I've got to remember to note names!) was very conscientious and did a wonderful job. She attended to my heels and one nail in particular that needed extra attention. She spent a full hour and the pedicure included a foot and leg massage. I returned four weeks later on a Saturday when I needed a little getaway time. The pedicure this time was scant and I felt my attendant was looking out the window more than he did my toenails. When he used the orange stick on my toes, he literally tapped each toe with it once. He rushed through the entire pedicure in about 20 minutes, led me to a foot dryer and went on to his next client without a word. Pedi prices here are very reasonable, which is why I really want to like them, but I'll take my chances at a good foot massage from my husband than pay for another crappy one like my second pedi here. read more

So I ended having to file my own nails when I realized at home the polish was coated unevenly, there are two little hairs in the gel polish and air bubbles in the other ! I would have liked to give them more stars because the nail techs are so nice, so I apologize to the lovely people who actually take care of the actual services once you get past the heinous front desk girl. I'm not sure if this self entitled woman child is the owners daughter, a family friend or just working there to make her the place look bad but with so many options to get your nails done she should probably be fired before she shuts the place down. Five of us came in with appointments mind you for a bridal shower. The bride coordinated beforehand to have manicures and pedicures for the big day. What should have been a relaxing fun day with the girls turned into a stressful experience once we got there. The front desk person mentioned before was actually so unwelcoming and unfriendly that we really debated leaving at one point. If her goal was to make the bride cry she almost succeeded. Bravo sister, I hope you slept well with your sense of control in tact. I would NEVER return here other than if my darling sister in law asked me to and I can promise you that the little reach I have in Kaysville clientele will be well aware this is not the place to go if you are looking for a nice time with your friends. The first time I went the girls working there were dancing in the front and laughing. When they saw I had an appointment they fought over whose turn it was to do my nails. The girl who did them was mad it was her turn and clipped my nails really short. I decided to give them another chance. The next time they did great.
