There's a service list around the register written in a white erase board, I noticed that she offers a lot of services! Some of the services listed were threading, waxing and I believe blow out. (I just stopped by to get my eyebrows threaded). Anyways, the owners was very welcoming, she greeted me with a smile asked what I wanted done. She initiated our small talk and began working. It was a very quick, painless and calming experience getting my eyebrows done. The instrumental music, store's scent and her gentle way using thread made it a wonderful first experience at Fusion! Therefore, Yes, I will be a returning customer! She did an amazing job with my eyebrows, prices are fairly reasonable (without tip, I paid $10 to get my eyebrows done) and I love how relaxing my experience was! Highly recommend this place.

Discovered this gem while searching for nearby places that have eyelash tinting. I had seen a…read moreblogger I follow have it done, and thought it was a great alternative to getting false lashes as I didn't want to ruin my natural lashes. Lo and behold, I stumbled upon The Glam Bar. It is located within Luxe Salon and Spa. The building is easy to find and they have their own parking lot. I called to make an appointment for the eyelash tinting, which was super easy. But keep in mind that they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the reception desk and introduced to the Master Esthetician, Enza, who would be assisting me. Enza made me feel at ease right away, with her friendly demeanor and answering all of my questions. To my good fortune, they also offer brow tinting, (something else I've been wanting to try) and both services go hand in hand quite well. Enza showed me to a private room where I laid face up on a table. She then applied hydrating under eye patches. These served a dual purpose, to teat my under eyes and to protect my skin of the tint application. The tint application was easy as you just close your eyes (and keep them closed) while she paints it onto your lashes. Keeping your eyes closed and letting the tint sit, she then applies a tint to match your hair to your bows. You may feel a slight stinging sensation on your eyelids, but nothing unbearable. Enza then carefully cleansed my brows and eye lashes. I had planned on running errands right after, but nixed that idea because just like hair dye, some of the tint remains on your skin till your next face wash. I did try using some micellar cleansing water on a q-tip which helped a little. It's been a few days now, and I am very happy with the results! Getting both the eyelash and brow tinting done together also saved me a few bucks! ($30 each separately, $55 together) I am looking forward to returning to try their other services such as the hydra facial with celluma therapy at their Medi Skin Spa!

(writer's note - I ADORE this company and am an avid customer with great success in the past - please take this as a review of the location, and not the overall company!) First, the girl on the phone who made my appt gave me directions that sent me driving around for 15 minutes trying to find the place. Once there, it was super creepy and noticeable that they were new because all 10 of them were behind the desk to greet me. Then, 'surprise', you don't actually have an appt. Did you make it today? Nope, over a week ago. But don't worry, we'll get you in anyway. Weird, on the phone they said they were booked solid. Then after waiting more, the waxer comes out and actually shakes my hand as she introduces herself. Note to the staff- this is equally as creepy. She is very sweet, but even after I told her that I've been doing this a hundred times, she insists on walking me through every step. Ok, so you're practicing, I get that. Next time though, don't tell me every internal thought you're having. It was extremely clear she hasn't done this before and now I'm anxious I'll be walking out minus more than hair by the time she's done. It took three times as long as I normally take, and all the time I'm hearing her self-talk and I'm praying it'll be over. Here's the icing on the cake - in the middle of this, while I'm butt-ass naked, another woman comes barging in. Is the building on fire? Nope, she just needs to tell my waxer something. When I realize it's not an accident, I said 'you really should warn people before you just come in' and her response was that 'she is the trainer and the fact that she would be coming in whenever she wanted should have been told to me'. Well, shucks, it wasn't. Had it been, I would have run away, and fast. That is not only rude, but embarrassing. Professionals would at least have said sorry, not made an excuse. Flash forward ten minutes and I'm still living in limbo. At one point I realize the room is dirty, with wax pieces all over the floor. Oh lord, help me get out of here! Then we're done, so I said yes, I know what that serum is for, I have it. Wasn't enough, I still got a lecture on how to use it. Finally I'm getting out of there and she looks like she's going to 'rebook' me. No way. I was done. Had this appt not been free in the first place, I would have refused to pay. Perhaps they can work out the kinks and I'll try again in a year or so. Perhaps not.
