Owner recommended a stylist to color my hair ... platinum blonde with low lights. Wound up bright yellow hair. he tried to tone it with a mousy brown, and it came out mousy brown with pink undertones. I had to come back and have someone else try to fix it. I LOVE THIS PLACE - Specifically Gene & Linda. They really are "The Dream Team". I used to never go to get my hair done professionally. I would pay a solid chunk of money and then walk out of every salon so underwhelmed. So I figured why pay so much for something I can do myself. Then one day I craved a new hair style, and wanted to do some beautiful balayage highlites. After what seemed like an endless search, I finally found Linda and was instantly in love with her work. She's incredible at coloring. After my consultation with her, she led me to her partner Gene, who is an absolute master with scissors. It's been almost a year since I stumped upon these two hair wizards. I've been there twice now and have walked out so happy each time. It's not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for, and honestly I wouldn't have it any other way. They are beyond worth it. I get Eugene to cut my hair. I went in with my hair straight down just past my shoulders and no bangs. It dragged me down. My first cut was long bangs and short just below the ears. At least 4 people asked me where I got my hair cut. I went back, of course, and got a tad shorter and wanted the bangs out of my face. I know it is the style but having my hair in my face is so irritating. So he styled it back and again, many compliments. My hair is not easy to cut or style. I have baby soft crap hair that is dry. I have cowlicks all over that make even parting my hair a chore. So being able to get a decent cut where it can look good day after day is a miracle. I don't always get that cut so staying here. read more

Marc, who has styled my hair for most of the 15 years, selected a color with highlights for me that was absolutely perfect!!
