    So beautiful!

I love cupcakes. All kinds of cupcakes. But there is something about Pinkitzel cupcakes that just automatically makes you so happy. These particular Pinketzels were delivered to my home, sent to me by a beloved colleague. I was having a tough day, but the sudden surprise of sugary goodness really changed the entire day for me. There is no telling how many of these pretty ladies they have created over the years, but each one was absolutely perfect. They were all different flavors, and each one was crafted with the maximum amount of attention to detail. I think it is impressive to see the quality has not changed in years, and that they were able to get to them to me in such perfect condition. They were not, I'm pleased to report, too pretty to eat. We ate them all over the course of just a few days. My favorites were the carrot cake and the red velvet, but I really think they were all delicious. You know I love my kids when I let one of them take the coconut one and I didn't even try to fight her for it. It was such a good reminder that all delivered surprises need not be flowers. These were every bit as beautiful as flowers, but I could eat them! More importantly, I bribed my children with these cupcakes for two days. Anytime anyone acted up, I was like, no cupcake for you, and man, they straightened right up! The cupcake as a secret weapon is something I can get behind!

I decided to give Pinkitzel another chance and once again the disappointed. Super small (mini), overpriced, and just ordinary. My usually and favorite cupcake place, Buttersweet Cupcakes, is further, but worth the drive. I gave it 1 star because the shop itself is cute.

What a fantastic visual overload of treats this place was. A totally delight! I wanted to get a sweet treat before returning to Tulsa and because we were already in Edmond we decided to give it a try. At first it looked closed but after driving around the side we saw it was open. As the pictures show, this boutique is a great place for browsing (unless on a diet) and has a ton of unique gifts. Everything from tiny cupcake mints to imported theme birthday supplies. Very cool. The baked cupcakes were super cute but tiny for the price. Tasty though. The service (rated poorly by other yelpers) was okay. Not rude but not super friendly. The cashier didn't seem to share the same enthusiasm I did about their establishment. I didn't care. I still showered the place with complements. I'll be back.

Super cute store! A lot of pink! All the candy you can Imagine. Great selection of cupcakes, Truffles, and macaroons. Weird selection of cotton candy. Little pricey but worth it, Would recommend. Go check it out!

Hands down best cupcake I've ever eaten. I chose the strawberry shortcake. Let's begin with the candy sprinkles and malt ball on top. Perfect strawberry flavored hints, made it feel really exciting and special. Strawberry frosting: Amazing! Tall swirls of pretty delicious pink... Thick, creamy. It was almost too much but hell, when is that ever a bad thing when were talking frosting?! White cake: moist, dense, little compared to the tower of frosting. *Bonus: real strawberries piped in the middle! I didn't see it coming! Made a mess, totally worth it! My husband had the lemon chiffon. His reaction was (verbatim) "Dayumm! Dayumm! Dayummmmmmmm!" Super charming place with a hint of funk. The cupcakes displayed beautifully. Thank god we are just traveling through because if I lived in Edmond I would live on these cupcakes. They are better than Hey Cupcake in Austin... There. I said it. They're better by a lot! That felt good.

Candy is a wonderland, and inside pinkitzel is a beautiful fantasy. I went to pinkitzel in edmond for valentines day this year. Wanting to get my boy friend at the time some cupcakes. I looked it up and was really impressed with the alice in wonderlandish decor. I LOVE IT. It's very candytastic. When i walked in i was blown away by the decor and all the colors. This is a real candy store. Chocolate cover nuts of all kinds taffy truffles bon bon cupcakes and things that make your mouth swoon. I was unsure about how to order the cupcakes at first. But i just walked over the to cupcake area by the tables and the lady behind the counter asked me what i needed i told her i had never been there and she started telling me about the different kinds of cupcakes. I got four but the two i remember the most. Were the red velvet and the chocolate salted caramel. The chocolate salted had a caramel square on top of the icing on the cupcake. I actually took this across town and put them in his fridge and then they got moved back across town and take out of the fridge two days later. As they were back to regular temperature we bit into them. Oh my goodness! I can still taste the amazing mix of sweet and salty and chocolately carmel. The red velvet was so moist and the icing was just as perfect. I won't lie the prices are high on everything but it's a speciality candy store. It isn't walmart. You are playing for the decor and those beautiful well made cupcake boxes and the uniqueness of it all. It was worth the price. It was an experience and i will be taking my nephews soon. Every kid should grow up visiting a fantasy candy store like this. It's like tasting a bit of willie wonka's day dreams.

My wife and I stopped by after 2 PM, and almost everything was already gone -- which honestly says a lot all by itself. We've been wanting to try OKC Sweets ever since hearing that Stephanie Embree won the Next Level Baker competition, so even arriving late wasn't going to stop us. The only items left were three cookies: two Snickerdoodles and one Chocolate Chip. I grabbed all three without hesitation. While checking out, I chatted with the counter staff about the best times to come by and what treats are usually available. With Valentine's Day coming up, they were gearing up to highlight some seasonal offerings -- sadly, we already had an appointment we couldn't miss. Major bummer. That said, after tasting those cookies? Wow. Soft, flavorful, and perfectly balanced -- absolutely worth the hype. If this is what's left at the end of the day, I can only imagine how incredible the full display must be earlier on. All I can say is this: I'll be back -- and much earlier next time. I can't wait to see what else Stephanie and her team put out on the counter.

I love that you grab a tray and tongs and can load up what you want. It's a bit pricey, but that's expected for good pastries in the U.S. These rival any European pastry I've had. My iced tiramisu latte was incredible also. Staff were quick and friendly. And it's bright and spacious inside with lots of seating. I'll definitely be back to try more.

Baked items and snacks everywhere you look. We went around closing time but managed to snag some really good stuff. The staff seemed nice and the guy who checked us out was really friendly. The girl counting items wasn't super friendly and didn't say anything to us when we walked in. So first things I saw was a matcha brownie with an Oreo in the middle of it! A what?! So I don't really like brownies, but I love matcha, so I had to get it. My boyfriend got one too. Then I saw a beautiful green tea cloud cake waiting for me to buy it and try it! Funny enough, I tried to find a matcha cake for my birthday when I was in Dallas. Surprisingly I couldn't find any place with a matcha cake. Who knew little Oklahoma would have my cake. We bought our goods now the hard choice: do we eat in the car or wait to drive home? Hm we ate it in the car of course. The cloud cake was so magical and airy. The matcha was prominent and not overpowering. Same with the brownie. It was a soft brownie and the chocolate worked great with the rich matcha flavor. I'd get both of those again. Price for two brownies and slice of cake was about $15

I originally had some issues getting them to answer their phone (we get busy, customers walk in, I am in no way upset because I was also busy with college). I went down to the store and got things squared away. I REPEAT, go into the store and double check with them you're in their system because their was some miscommunication over the text even when I thought there wasn't. Great place for weekend breakfast!…read more I went here with my breakfast group for our monthly meetup on a March Saturday morning. I am grateful to OKC food writer Greg Horton for mentioning La Baguette as a good breakfast spot in a piece that I read recently. Our server recommended the crepes as a standout breakfast item, and they delivered. My companions ordered the crepes normandie, while I ordered the crepes parisienne. What a delight! I hesitate to order some breakfast items because I prefer mildly sweet things. I like pancakes and French toast with just a drizzle of syrup, and I only need a thin layer of jelly on my toast. This strawberry crepe was delicious! They put strawberries and whipped cream inside a crepe, folded it over a few times, and then mounded some more strawberries and whipped cream on top. No other toppings needed! I tried the crepe by itself and was delighted to find that it had a mild taste. The strawberries were surprisingly ripe for March. Kudos to them for finding a great supplier of late winter/early spring strawberries! Also, the whipped cream tasted great mixed in with my hot tea. Definitely need to come back for more breakfasts!
