I was robbed. I went over the contract. It states "If you return after store hours, verify the…read moreequipment return on mobile device by going to uhaul.com/share. Or you can choose to have a U-Haul Representative verify it for you the next business day. There is $20.00 convinience fee for this option." So since I did verification of the equipment return on mobile device while I was dropping off the truck. That should have covered the $20.00 convinience fee. But, U-Haul decided to charge me just because I dropped off the key after hours, although I did the verification on the mobile phone.  Basically, U-Haul decided to rob and steal money off of a customer. Very dissappointed by the how thing were handled. Because i E-mailed about this fee to the genral manager, Arcturus Johnso, and I STILL owe the $20 fee even after following the steps as it is stated on the CONTRACT. I did not know U-Haul was a thief that steals money from customers. General manager stated unless if the trucks are returned in person, there is a $20 fee. The general manager, he himself does not know the company policy.

Kenny showed me several units, answered all my questions, and even helped me think about which unit is best suited for me instead of just going with the higher priced unit. He even stayed an hour after closing time to show me more storage units because I couldn't make up my mind. I didn't even get this type of service at Chanel! The storage units are well kept, clean, and well ventilated. The prices are just as great as their customer service. If you're thinking of renting anywhere else - don't. It was difficult to secure a 1 way this time of year from Cambridge to midwest. U-Haul dispatch in MA confirmed everything the Monday before pickup. Truck in excellent condition. Drove it 2 days west and will drop it next week at another location. We did see 2 big bugs in truck interior but were able to kill these before loading items. I know there are reviews talking about rodents in the storage location here. I am guessing this truck was moved to Cambridge for my 1 way since dispatch was working on my reservation. There was no information disclosed to us about what to do with the furniture pads when done. When we arrived, one of the employees said "I'm going to have to charge you for that", with no context on what he was referring to. When questioned about what he was talking about, he stated that since we did not have the used pads folded, we would have to face a "folding fee?" Never heard of that before. Avoid this place. Total cash grab.

The shipping cost was already paid for as I had the prepaid label. The store was quiet as it was Saturday afternoon no line so we were in and out in like 10-15 minutes. Overall good experience here! The movers made contact when they were en route to my location, and showed up on time. All three of the movers introduced themselves, and post my tour of what they needed to move, they went to work. Our move was sizeable 3bd apt in a house to a 2bd smaller townhouse. They disassembled, reassembled, and arranged furniture in the most effective configuration. They were real people who truly cared about the job they did. They also understood how stressful moving is. My move took 6 hours and they were moving the entire time. Nothing broken and they were a super effective team. (hopefully no time soon...the process of moving bites) If I ever need movers again Mozart Movers are going to be my choice.
