Had a great meal at pink taco! The staff was super friendly! Our server was Freddy and he was great, very personable and got us everything we needed! This restaurant is so fun and has some great decor that is super insta-worthy! From neon signs to murals, and everything link this spot is so much fun!! The food and drinks are also incredible! For cocktails we got a strawberry marg, sinful sangria, Cadillac, frozen mango com chile, passionista, and something pink drinks that all had beautiful presentation and tasted great!!! For apps we tried the nachos, birria quesadilla, Taquitos and queso fundido that were all delish but the birria quesadilla was prob my fav! For mains we got the steak fajitas, carne asada tacos, fried lobster tacos and carne asada enchiladas. And of course we couldn't skip dessert so we tried the tres leches churro ice cream sandwich, the chocolate cake and the fried ice cream! The chocolate cake was a bit dry but the fried ice cream was wrapped in fruity pebbles and was SO good read more

We had high expectations of this restaurant because of other comments. We came in about 12:30 and were met by a server and a trainee. That was fine except the trainer wasn't listening to our conversation nor the trainees. We asked for coffee and they said they don't have coffee yet they serve breakfast and coffee was in their menu. This was the waitress speaking. We ordered guac and chips. Guac was fine just needed salt. Chips were made there and stale. The salsa tasted like store bought salsa and we asked for spicy salsa and they brought Cholula. Boo. They came back a few minutes later snd said e could order spicy mango habanero salsa for an up-charge. We said no. I ordered steak and shrimp fajitas. There were 3 slices of peppers and 5 slices of onions as the vegetables. The steak was not seasoned and the beans tasted like canned beans. My wife ordered carnitas tacos. They were terrible. No flavor, super dry, and the corn tortillas were old and crumbly. Ambiance was TexMex with a bit of southern cali but the food tasted like Jim Bobs TexMex. They were trying to beat Bobby Flay and ended up beating themselves. We did complain about the food quality and NOTHING was done or suggested. We even said give us something else and they just looked at us. We paid and left without finishing our food. They even said this was the new menu. So sad. To bad. read more

This was my first time going because I always heard the drinks were good but the food was mid and I love to eat. Based off my experience, I'd say yes to the veggie nachos 10/10 , yes to the coconut shrimp tacos but 3 is a lot. Maybe to the drinks because they have a decent amount of options but they aren't strong. The grilled shrimp tacos are a no for me , they were kinda bland and it felt like the ingredients didn't pair well. Tbh, the ambiance is a vibe. Full of culture and definitely an aesthetic for the girlies. Service was okay, nothing special. He was nice. read more

I visited this restaurant on a Thursday afternoon. There was no one else there except the staff, who were all pleasant, and my friends. The space was quiet and cozy, and we were seated at a high top. Sadly, my good experiences kind of end there. I had the nachos, which were undercheesed and pretty bland. I also ordered a grilled vegetable burrito. It was smothered in a green sauce that didn't appeal at all and sour cream. The grilled vegetables had an unfortunate aftertaste to them and were pretty underseasoned. I had a few bites and then said no to the rest. I also tried a friend's shrimp fajitas. The spice blend on them was pleasant, but they lacked salt, and I felt it was a mediocre effort. Maybe I just ordered the wrong items, but this restaurant wasn't my cup of tea. read more

The food was good but not good enough to excuse the poor service. There are plenty of other great Mexican food choices in the city of Boston, I wouldn't go out of your way to try Pink Taco. And I hate to say that because I absolutely loved the Pink Taco in Washington DC. I sat at the bar with my boyfriend hoping for quicker service, but somehow still got forgotten about. We waited about 10 minutes for my margarita and a refill on water. The classic margarita was not tasty or refreshing at all. We also waited a while for chips and salsa, which was devoured in a few minutes. Make sure to ask for extra salsa because the cups are tiny. The restaurant didn't appear to be busy, but giving them the benefit of doubt maybe they were short staffed? After waiting and waiting we finally got our food, the chicken fajitas looked amazing but I had to wait a few minutes because the tortillas weren't brought out with the fajitas. I was super impressed by the seasoning of the chicken, it was so good and I think it will make for some great leftovers tomorrow. I'm glad we tried the Boston Pink Taco, but we probably won't be back due to the inattentive wait staff. read more

(Visited, 2/28/25) I visited Pink Taco (my second time here) with a group of friends to take advantage of Restaurant Week. The restaurant wasn't as packed as we expected, so we could actually hear each other talk -- a nice surprise. We all ordered from the special menu. I started with the taquitos, which were delicious and perfectly crunchy. The meat was seasoned really well. For my entrée, I got the enchiladas, which came with rice and refried beans. Everything was super tasty. I'm someone who loves to smother my food in sour cream, and I definitely did! Since dessert was included -- and I knew exactly what I wanted -- I made sure to save room by not finishing my whole entrée. The dessert did not disappoint. If you love Fruity Pebbles or fruity flavors in general, this one's for you. The mix of the pebbles with the cinnamon on the bottom is the perfect combo. It's a must-try! One thing I loved: they serve Coca Cola in glass bottles. It reminds me of home, and honestly, Coke tastes so much better from glass than plastic or a can. Our server was friendly and attentive for the most part, though I did have to remind her twice about a couple of things I asked for. Side note: I'm not sure if it was because of the occasion, but they had a security guard at the entrance checking IDs. He was on the phone when I walked up, so it took him a minute to acknowledge me -- not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. read more

I was visiting in Boston for a fantastic event at the Cambridge innovation center and decided to stop for a drink and an appetizer before I headed to the airport. My friend and I pulled up and sat outside, and we were served by a really eclectic but wonderful waitress who made sure I had one of the best margaritas I've had in a while. We didn't have enough time to dig into the food, but I definitely recommend this location for people watching and.good service. read more

After attending a fun event at Pink Taco, I decided to visit on my own! When I arrived, the restaurant was surprisingly empty and quiet, but I rather have that than having to wait and dealing with the noisiness. Inside, it's spacious with the tables spread out. The indoor lighting is darker, which is nice and easy on the eyes. Since I love food coloring, I ordered everything pink: the original pink tacos and the pink pancakes. -- Both were delicious! But they're quite expensive... $19 for three small tacos and $15 for small pancakes. For the experience, it's worth trying Pink Taco once, just to say that you have eaten pink food. Otherwise, I'd only consider coming back for happy hour, where they offer a pink taco for just $4. read more

I am honestly really disappointed in this place because I really like the scenery, vibes, and food. Yet, the service was slow and unprofessional. My friends and I arrived for a late dinner, the restaurant was not packed and was quite empty. The server was efficient at getting our orders in. After that, the server barely checked on us (once every 30 mins or so) and no where to be seen. We did not get our food after 45 mins. When we tried to call the other servers for an update and the check, we got unwanted glares. The food was amazing! The nachos were one of the best nachos I had in Boston! The burrito and enchiladas were phenomenal. Something Pink drink was very diluted in juice and I could barely taste the alcohol which I am not a fan of. Unfortunately, the food took too long to arrive and the service was bad that I lost my appetite once the food arrived. Pink Taco has great potential. They need to work on their service and efficiency. Hopefully they can improve throughout the next few months. read more

Nut allergy friendly: Everything we ordered was fine. Order - to - Appetizers: 15 Minutes Order - to - Entrees: 40 Minutes We walked in on a Monday night with a group of about 12 after having a reservation messed up somewhere else. Thankfully, Pink Taco had the space by putting some tables together. There are a variety of seating options here, from circle tables to bar seating to normal larger tables. The food was overall okay. Overpriced if anything. The appetizers were adequately sharable and if I came back I'd just get some nachos to share. $20-$30+ (with tax and tip) for three tacos is absurd, and they are not that filling. My margarita pitcher was around $60 after tax and tip and served about nine small drinks - I'm still not sure if it was more efficient, with the amount of ice they gave. Service was not great either. I had to go up to the bar for water refills and to get cups for people when they combined tables and forgot to set one of them. We got chip refills once for the entire table of 12. Overall, wouldn't come back but it is a decent option for larger groups. read more

My wife ordered the OG pink tacos and was very pleased. I had the fried Mahi Mahi Baja tacos which were excellent. We both had margaritas (spicy and Cadillac) that we liked. The best bite.was the queso fundido served in a mini cast iron skillet. It.gives the cheese a crispness that we wish more more Mexican restaurants would offer. Service was attentive and accurate. The timing between our queso and the mains were a little tight, but not.sobad that I had to send the mains back. We were there when they first opened so perfect for us. It was an excellent experience! read more

Restaurant is super cute, spacious, loved the decor. I ordered the pink drink and it was quite tasty, I'd recommend. The food... not so much. I ordered the carne asada tacos and it was terrible.. the tortilla was dry and stale. The meat was overcooked, bland and dry. I was very disappointed in the quality. When it came out, it was just room temperature. Given the quality, they were probably just sitting out on the counter. Our server was lovely and quite attentive. read more

The restaurant is so cute inside and has great decor but the food could be better. I got the birria tacos and was disappointed. They lacked a lot of flavor and just overall were not worth $20. We've ordered takeout from here several times before and have always had a wonderful experience. The packaging used to be excellent--everything stayed fresh, well-separated, and I really appreciated that it was biodegradable. Unfortunately, this time was completely different. They've switched to round plastic containers, and everything arrived smushed together. The food was soggy, cold, and honestly just not enjoyable. It was a really disappointing experience, especially considering the price. I'm beyond disappointed and won't be ordering again unless they go back to the previous packaging. read more

The Thursday/Sunday Tale: A Two-Part Review of Pink Taco My recent experiences at Pink Taco were so dramatically different, it felt like I was visiting two completely separate restaurants. Let me break it down. Thursday Night: 5/5 Stars This was the experience that made me want to come back. The service was on point, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively. We had a great time and left feeling completely satisfied. It was a flawless evening from start to finish. Sunday, August 10th: 1/5 Stars Then came Sunday. To call this an utter disaster would be an understatement. When we arrived, the place was slow, but we still waited for about five minutes with no one even acknowledging our presence. I ended up grabbing menus and seating us myself. Another 15 minutes went by after we ordered, and we still had no drinks. Our waitress, who seemed completely out of it, finally came over 30 minutes into our "service" to inform us that the pineapples were bad. She brought me a glass of something I didn't order and a margarita flight that was missing the alcohol. Shortly after, she dropped the wrong food at our table and, in a spectacular display of incompetence, knocked over the entire flight of drinks. In the midst of this chaos, a different table I had personally seated to help out the staff was also completely ignored. They got chips and salsa but no water and no order taken, and eventually, they just got up and left. The food, when it finally arrived, was a huge disappointment. The pork was drier than the Sahara, and the churros were stale and overly crunchy. To add insult to injury, our waitress started clearing away items we were still eating because they had arrived so late. Just as we were about to give up entirely, Zoe, who I was told wasn't even on the main team anymore, stepped up and completely took over. She was an absolute lifesaver. She took control, fixed our order, and salvaged the rest of our night with her professionalism and genuine care. She is the only reason this review isn't a zero-star rating. The difference between my Thursday and Sunday visits was shocking. It's clear that the quality of your experience here is entirely dependent on who is working. The service we received on Sunday was unacceptable, and without Zoe's intervention, it would have been a complete waste of time and money. Pink Taco needs to get its Sunday staff sorted out to ensure a consistent dining experience for everyone. read more

Went to this place last night with my girlfriend and some friends from out of town, loved the vibes, music was a little too loud, but place was very nice looking. Our waiter tried to do his best but I dont know if he wanted to. Im not here to create drama in someone's work place but he might want to go back in training for being a waiter because at one point my girlfriend had to get up and go to the bar and get more water he took so long to come back to our table. We waited at least 40 mins for our food and when it came it was cold. Tortilla tasted like they were stail and just unacceptable for our evening. Im not sure if I will be back here for food but maybe just drink although they were not great. They offered some money off of our bill but when we got the bill they had taken off just 1 Taco price in which I though was very clever lol I should have know better after reading the reviews because they are true, and good luck with the rest of your business read more

Overpriced food and overpriced food drinks! Walked in without knowing anything about this place for drinks and dinner - drinks were good! I got the pink power with tres genereciones anejo - same tequila I fell in love with in Mexico recently. Honestly, the regular cocktail was $16 and when I asked for a the tequila to be upgraded it was $19. $16 is a lot for a mediocre cocktail! My colleague got some guacamole and chips and they were okay. I got the lobster tacos and I liked the mango in my tacos but the lobster was very bland. The only thing I liked about the place is the patio. Our server was friendly and service was quick. This place is located at a great spot but they really need to improve their food. I know none of my colleagues were particularly impressed with the food here. read more

Had birthday reservations here. As far as menu options go it's not the most unique menu of Mexican food places in the area. We started with the nachos with chicken. I asked for no cilantro, the waitress said it comes in the pico and I said that fine, as long as it was not garnished with cilantro (on the side would have been fine). Unfortunately it came out with pico on the side and absolutely COVERED in cilantro. Once I got to picking it all off the nachos were great. I ordered the green Chile chicken enchiladas which come with rice and beans. I wish they told me I could pick black beans instead of pinto as that's what I typically prefer. Nonetheless it was a good meal. Huge portion, I took half home. The choco tacos were a fun desert but nothing too special. I would recommend the fried ice cream. Overall ambiance was busy and a bit loud but to be expected. read more

The volume was very loud...like we couldn't have a conversation between two people sitting next to eachother loud, couldn't hear the servers to know what they were asking or what food they were putting infront of us. That said, it got quieted after a little while. By the time we paid the bill I could actually hear the waitress say thank you! The food was great. We had a quesadilla and street corn for appetizers, enchiladas for our meals and lemonade for our drinks. The mint lemonade is probably a pass for me. At first it didn't taste at all like mint, just lemonade with mint leaves in it. Within about 5min all I could taste was mint and no way to get the mint leaves out. Kind of unpleasant, I'll just get regular lemonade next time. Service was great just hard to hear anything. read more

We went to the Miami restaurant a few years ago and it was excellent so wanted to go again in Boston. The way our schedule worked out, the only time we could do was Sunday brunch at 9 am. We made reservations, but it wasn't needed as we were still the only people there even when we were finished. We liked that they allowed us to order from the brunch or lunch menu, as my wife and daughter don't really care for eggs or other more traditional breakfast dishes. Everything was great and I would certainly seek out this or other Pink Taco locations. read more

I don't usually write reviews. While the food wasn't bad, the service was terrible, and I don't think it was the waiter's fault. We reserved two tables, one for 15 people and the other for 10. We had one waiter for 25 people, there was one bartender, and I am guessing one person cooking. We arrived at 8:00 pm and were not served dinner until 9:45! Needless to say, we will not be going back. Sorry! read more

This place was a major let down on the food front. OG tacos wasn't too bad flavor wise but very small portion size. Carne asada taco was disappointing with little food on it...both the meat and extras was bare..flavor was meh Corn had decent flavor but was cold! Queso bean dip was simply not it/not edible. We always crush queso dip at restaurants and this one we couldn't get 50% of the way there. The food is overpriced for the quality and quantity Took forever to service even though we sat at the bar and our side was empty. When the food did come... it all came out at the same time instead of the apps coming first. So you can imagine when it all came out and the corn I mentioned above was cold we were highly annoyed. Ambiance seemed nice as they have a trendy decor/vibe but the food and service was a massive let down. read more

Unfortunate turn of events. We came to Pink Taco for a Birthday dinner - party of 10 people. Service was friendly and polite at first but our sever seemed to be very busy and overwhelmed. Then our experience started to decline as things got forgotten and never put in. Our drinks took a very long time to come out and we were never given extra silverware or more glasses for water. We had to steal some silverware from an empty table next to us. Then came food which also took a long time to come out. Everyone's food was delivered except for my order of Taquitos and our friend's drinks. We let our food runner know and our server later came by to apologize for forgetting to put in our orders. We would not have been so upset if things got fixed accordingly but we were left for forgotten. In the end we feel for our server since it seemed to be a staffing issue or poor management. I never received my order and we left because we had spent too long waiting around. In total 2 hours of waiting for missing food and drinks, mid tasting food, and poor service. In the end the two of us who got our orders forgotten were given vouchers for a free appetizer with the purchase of an entree and thankfully some stuff comped! Disappointing bday dinner experience. read more

Pink Taco was a disappointment- we were really bummed as the atmosphere and staff were great. However the food was unseasoned and bland. Every person at our table was disappointed in their meal. Again, the service was great but it couldn't overcome the food. read more

We ended up at Pink Taco on a whim and had a fine meal there. The food was alright; I was excited to try the pink taco but the flavor was a little bland. YIKES. Valentine's Day at pink taco was awful. Our reservation was at 7- there was no one at the host stand, there was a huge line and we didn't get sat until 7:30. The server came over and said please be patient things are taking longer tonight which was understandable. We understood! Until it took 45 minutes to get our drinks, an hour to get chips and guacamole and 2 hours to get our food. There was no manager in sight apologizing, or helping out on the floor. Apparently only the kitchen manager was on? They never should've kept seating people if they couldn't handle it. There were no apologies or anything taken off our bill? That experience was ridiculous. read more
