My wife ordered the OG pink tacos and was very pleased. I had the fried Mahi Mahi Baja tacos which were excellent. We both had margaritas (spicy and Cadillac) that we liked. The best bite.was the queso fundido served in a mini cast iron skillet. It.gives the cheese a crispness that we wish more more Mexican restaurants would offer. Service was attentive and accurate. The timing between our queso and the mains were a little tight, but not.sobad that I had to send the mains back. We were there when they first opened so perfect for us. This was my first time going because I always heard the drinks were good but the food was mid and I love to eat. Based off my experience, I'd say yes to the veggie nachos 10/10 , yes to the coconut shrimp tacos but 3 is a lot. Maybe to the drinks because they have a decent amount of options but they aren't strong. The grilled shrimp tacos are a no for me , they were kinda bland and it felt like the ingredients didn't pair well. Tbh, the ambiance is a vibe. I visited this restaurant on a Thursday afternoon. There was no one else there except the staff, who were all pleasant, and my friends. The space was quiet and cozy, and we were seated at a high top. Sadly, my good experiences kind of end there. I had the nachos, which were undercheesed and pretty bland. I also ordered a grilled vegetable burrito. It was smothered in a green sauce that didn't appeal at all and sour cream. The grilled vegetables had an unfortunate aftertaste to them and were pretty underseasoned. I had a few bites and then said no to the rest. I also tried a friend's shrimp fajitas. The spice blend on them was pleasant, but they lacked salt, and I felt it was a mediocre effort. The food was good but not good enough to excuse the poor service. There are plenty of other great Mexican food choices in the city of Boston, I wouldn't go out of your way to try Pink Taco. And I hate to say that because I absolutely loved the Pink Taco in Washington DC. I sat at the bar with my boyfriend hoping for quicker service, but somehow still got forgotten about. We waited about 10 minutes for my margarita and a refill on water. The classic margarita was not tasty or refreshing at all. We also waited a while for chips and salsa, which was devoured in a few minutes. Make sure to ask for extra salsa because the cups are tiny. The restaurant didn't appear to be busy, but giving them the benefit of doubt maybe they were short staffed? After waiting and waiting we finally got our food, the chicken fajitas looked amazing but I had to wait a few minutes because the tortillas weren't brought out with the fajitas. I was super impressed by the seasoning of the chicken, it was so good and I think it will make for some great leftovers tomorrow. (Visited, 2/28/25) I visited Pink Taco (my second time here) with a group of friends to take advantage of Restaurant Week. The restaurant wasn't as packed as we expected, so we could actually hear each other talk -- a nice surprise. We all ordered from the special menu. I started with the taquitos, which were delicious and perfectly crunchy. The meat was seasoned really well. For my entrée, I got the enchiladas, which came with rice and refried beans. Everything was super tasty. I'm someone who loves to smother my food in sour cream, and I definitely did! Since dessert was included -- and I knew exactly what I wanted -- I made sure to save room by not finishing my whole entrée. The dessert did not disappoint. If you love Fruity Pebbles or fruity flavors in general, this one's for you. The mix of the pebbles with the cinnamon on the bottom is the perfect combo. It's a must-try! One thing I loved: they serve Coca Cola in glass bottles. It reminds me of home, and honestly, Coke tastes so much better from glass than plastic or a can. Our server was friendly and attentive for the most part, though I did have to remind her twice about a couple of things I asked for. This was genuinely the worst service I have ever come across in my life. My friends and I came here to celebrate my birthday and had a reservation for 7.30 pm on 5/5. I understand this is cinco de mayo so it's busy, but when I came in and mentioned my reservation, I overheard the two servers in the front whisper about giving my table away to another party (I came in at 7:20 pm). The server told me to wait a couple minutes as it was not 7:30 pm yet and I agreed and waited by the front. I noticed within the next several minutes, people who had come in later than me were getting seated at tables. It's around 8:10 pm which is 40 mins past our reservation time. I go up again and ask about our reservation and then ten minutes later we get seated. We place in our orders. Our drinks come at a reasonable time. However, we had been waiting an hour without any food, including the complimentary chips that is provided. It seemed like our server was hellbent on avoiding us but the three times we did catch her within that hour, we reminded her to bring the chips which we had yet to receive. It's around 1 hour and 30 minutes with no food, and after checking with our waiter several times, I decided to ask the waiter to check for our food and if it was not out to give us our bill for the drinks. We waited another 15 mins and no sign of her, so I went up to the front to ask the same thing. The lady at the front asked us who our server was and told us that we should have come up earlier. How would I know to do that? I thought the server was going to give us food? I told her it was my birthday and we would just appreciate the bill. But, she mentioned our food is on the way and did not give me the bill. Our server comes back and asks us what we ordered, we repeat it and she writes it down. Then, I watch her go and input our order on their screen. So, I guess she just didn't put our order in. Instead of apologizing or explaining the situation she acted like nothing happened. We waited another 30 mins before I asked a THIRD TIME for our bill. Like just release us from here!!! But no, they did not want to give it to us and told us our food is coming. They also mentioned that the manager would come to talk to us but that didn't happen. Finally, after three hours of waiting we got our food. It was cold and honestly it must've been sitting for a while. Mind you, its now like 10:15 PM, and my friends and I have lost our appetite. Finally we receive the bill, and given the experience I thought we would have gotten some sort of compensation on our bill. But, no it was full price. I asked our waiter to get the manager as I felt like that was not right. Instead of apologizing for the service, our waiter told us that there was a private event. But I mentioned to her that we have seen parties get their food and leave even after being seated after us. We were the only people at the restaurant at this point. When I asked for the manager, our waiter told us that we need to wait another 30 mins so they can complete their closing duties?? I told her that we could not wait any longer and the manager comped our meal and we just paid for our drinks. Overall, I was pretty upset with the service and lack of apology on their end but if you enjoy mid food and being held captive then this is the place for you! read more

After attending a fun event at Pink Taco, I decided to visit on my own! When I arrived, the restaurant was surprisingly empty and quiet, but I rather have that than having to wait and dealing with the noisiness. Inside, it's spacious with the tables spread out. The indoor lighting is darker, which is nice and easy on the eyes. Since I love food coloring, I ordered everything pink: the original pink tacos and the pink pancakes. -- Both were delicious! But they're quite expensive... $19 for three small tacos and $15 for small pancakes. For the experience, it's worth trying Pink Taco once, just to say that you have eaten pink food. We've ordered takeout from here several times before and have always had a wonderful experience. The packaging used to be excellent--everything stayed fresh, well-separated, and I really appreciated that it was biodegradable. Unfortunately, this time was completely different. They've switched to round plastic containers, and everything arrived smushed together. The food was soggy, cold, and honestly just not enjoyable. I am honestly really disappointed in this place because I really like the scenery, vibes, and food. Yet, the service was slow and unprofessional. My friends and I arrived for a late dinner, the restaurant was not packed and was quite empty. The server was efficient at getting our orders in. After that, the server barely checked on us (once every 30 mins or so) and no where to be seen. We did not get our food after 45 mins. When we tried to call the other servers for an update and the check, we got unwanted glares. The food was amazing! The nachos were one of the best nachos I had in Boston! The burrito and enchiladas were phenomenal. Something Pink drink was very diluted in juice and I could barely taste the alcohol which I am not a fan of. Order - to - Appetizers: 15 Minutes Order - to - Entrees: 40 Minutes We walked in on a Monday night with a group of about 12 after having a reservation messed up somewhere else. Thankfully, Pink Taco had the space by putting some tables together. There are a variety of seating options here, from circle tables to bar seating to normal larger tables. The food was overall okay. Overpriced if anything. The appetizers were adequately sharable and if I came back I'd just get some nachos to share. $20-$30+ (with tax and tip) for three tacos is absurd, and they are not that filling. My margarita pitcher was around $60 after tax and tip and served about nine small drinks - I'm still not sure if it was more efficient, with the amount of ice they gave. Service was not great either. I had to go up to the bar for water refills and to get cups for people when they combined tables and forgot to set one of them. We got chip refills once for the entire table of 12. Overall, wouldn't come back but it is a decent option for larger groups. read more

We had a great time and left feeling completely satisfied. It was a flawless evening from start to finish. ​Sunday, August 10th: 1/5 Stars ​Then came Sunday. To call this an utter disaster would be an understatement. When we arrived, the place was slow, but we still waited for about five minutes with no one even acknowledging our presence. I ended up grabbing menus and seating us myself. Another 15 minutes went by after we ordered, and we still had no drinks. ​Our waitress, who seemed completely out of it, finally came over 30 minutes into our "service" to inform us that the pineapples were bad. She brought me a glass of something I didn't order and a margarita flight that was missing the alcohol. Shortly after, she dropped the wrong food at our table and, in a spectacular display of incompetence, knocked over the entire flight of drinks. ​In the midst of this chaos, a different table I had personally seated to help out the staff was also completely ignored. They got chips and salsa but no water and no order taken, and eventually, they just got up and left. ​The food, when it finally arrived, was a huge disappointment. The pork was drier than the Sahara, and the churros were stale and overly crunchy. To add insult to injury, our waitress started clearing away items we were still eating because they had arrived so late. ​Just as we were about to give up entirely, Zoe, who I was told wasn't even on the main team anymore, stepped up and completely took over. She was an absolute lifesaver. She took control, fixed our order, and salvaged the rest of our night with her professionalism and genuine care. We're back! We love this place for brunch! It's a great value and the staff is always so kind and accommodating. Our kids plan our weekend around being able to get some churro pancakes so it's always a must when we're in town. Went to this place last night with my girlfriend and some friends from out of town, loved the vibes, music was a little too loud, but place was very nice looking. Our waiter tried to do his best but I dont know if he wanted to. Im not here to create drama in someone's work place but he might want to go back in training for being a waiter because at one point my girlfriend had to get up and go to the bar and get more water he took so long to come back to our table. We waited at least 40 mins for our food and when it came it was cold. Tortilla tasted like they were stail and just unacceptable for our evening. The volume was very loud...like we couldn't have a conversation between two people sitting next to eachother loud, couldn't hear the servers to know what they were asking or what food they were putting infront of us. That said, it got quieted after a little while. By the time we paid the bill I could actually hear the waitress say thank you! The food was great. We had a quesadilla and street corn for appetizers, enchiladas for our meals and lemonade for our drinks. The mint lemonade is probably a pass for me. At first it didn't taste at all like mint, just lemonade with mint leaves in it. Within about 5min all I could taste was mint and no way to get the mint leaves out. I got the pink power with tres genereciones anejo - same tequila I fell in love with in Mexico recently. Honestly, the regular cocktail was $16 and when I asked for a the tequila to be upgraded it was $19. $16 is a lot for a mediocre cocktail! My colleague got some guacamole and chips and they were okay. I got the lobster tacos and I liked the mango in my tacos but the lobster was very bland. The only thing I liked about the place is the patio. Our server was friendly and service was quick. This place is located at a great spot but they really need to improve their food. We went to the Miami restaurant a few years ago and it was excellent so wanted to go again in Boston. The way our schedule worked out, the only time we could do was Sunday brunch at 9 am. We made reservations, but it wasn't needed as we were still the only people there even when we were finished. We liked that they allowed us to order from the brunch or lunch menu, as my wife and daughter don't really care for eggs or other more traditional breakfast dishes. Unfortunate turn of events. We came to Pink Taco for a Birthday dinner - party of 10 people. Service was friendly and polite at first but our sever seemed to be very busy and overwhelmed. Then our experience started to decline as things got forgotten and never put in. Our drinks took a very long time to come out and we were never given extra silverware or more glasses for water. We had to steal some silverware from an empty table next to us. Then came food which also took a long time to come out. Everyone's food was delivered except for my order of Taquitos and our friend's drinks. We let our food runner know and our server later came by to apologize for forgetting to put in our orders. We would not have been so upset if things got fixed accordingly but we were left for forgotten. In the end we feel for our server since it seemed to be a staffing issue or poor management. I never received my order and we left because we had spent too long waiting around. In total 2 hours of waiting for missing food and drinks, mid tasting food, and poor service. In the end the two of us who got our orders forgotten were given vouchers for a free appetizer with the purchase of an entree and thankfully some stuff comped! Pink Taco in Seaport is, without question, the worst restaurant I've ever set foot in. We were seated without a word to our waitress. Drinks crawled in after 30 minutes and food took even longer. When plates eventually started showing up, half the table never got any food at all. Mind you, our waitress printed out our orders and showed us everything was sent to the kitchen correctly. After over an hour and a half of waiting, our waitress re-entered the missing orders. 20 minutes later we find out a manager actually went in and deleted the reordered food. The chef (Marisol) refused to cook for us, and our waitress admitted she was too scared to fight it because she might get fired. In the end, 4 out of the 8 of us walked out without ever being fed dinner. The bathrooms were filthy, the bar staff were rude, and the whole place felt like it was being run by people who don't care if customers ever come back. In a busy city like Boston this place should be embarrassed it's even open. I am counting the days until Pink Taco is replaced by literally *anything* else. read more

Couldn't recommend this place more!! I went for a Bachelorette party, and the entire experience was beyond amazing. Staff were friendly, food was top notch, and the manager truly made our day unforgettable. They gave us a completely free meal (and drinks!) and even had a shot ski for us which was so fun!
