Horrible and over charged. I'm unsure if these are paid reviews or not. My nails chipped within a few days of me doing nothing! Go here if you have money to waste.

    Dented Acrylic Nail

My nails were done poorly. They did not paint the entire nail. The acrylics nails were dented. They were playing info commercials on their tv. They charged me $7 to put one nail tip on my index finger since it was broken. I am so sad my nails look so bad. I am going to have to get them redone somewhere else.

A close up of the infected foot and it was swollen.

When deciding on where to go get a pedi, do not go to this place. Everyone's worst nightmare happen to me here. While getting a pedicure, the technician cut my foot. Then when I pointed it out to him and the owner, they treated me as if I was lying and told me that the cut must of been there before. It was not. I felt attacked and very mistreated. The cut immediately started looking like an infections only hours later and just 2 days later I was on oral antibiotics for a massive infection. I have attached photos, sorry they are gross. It was such a horrible and threatening experience there, I will never return. I hate to give bad reviews for business, but my infection was serious and I am still healing almost a month afterwards. Please run from this place, because if you do not you might not be able to run for a few weeks, because you have a massive foot infection.

This is the second nail joint I have enjoyed since being back in Tallahassee. While there are many salons to choose from, my friend recommended this salon and I am more than pleased. I chose the deluxe pedicure laced with refreshing minty rub, sugar scrub, hot stones, and sleep inducing leg and foot rubbing throughout the unleashing of all the aforementioned products. My nail tech, Kenji, should teach classes on foot and leg massage because he is a master of the craft.

I had a specific OPI gel color combo in mind. I like to use two different shades layered for a perfect neutral for my fair skin. A bit extra yes, but the results have never failed me. The staff was able to find one of the two colors before my appointment and shortly after my arrival they located the second color. Yay!!!! They are used to customers who like to customize their color. This extra request didn't create an issue whatsoever and they were so accommodating by searching the entire wall to find it. The salon is beautifully designed and it appears perfect for large groups, think "girls day out". I opted for a hot cuticle oil pedi, and a classic fill with my custom layered polish. Both of my nail specialists were great and my nails look holiday ready! I even got an extra $10 gift card based on the price of my services. Win win!!

My friend wanted to catch up while I was in town for the weekend over pedi's, and I couldn't say no. This salon is walking distance from my parents' home, which rarely happens in the suburbs of Tallahassee. Nail 2000 is in the quiet plaza next door to Nuberri off of Kerry Forest. It's just another unassuming nail salon in an unassuming plaza. Even so, the quiet salon stood at full attention as we picked our nail colors. By the way, how old were those nail polishes? Because many were coated in dust and some colors were changing in a way that old nail polishes do. Ick. We were seated in the massage chairs and got the usual pedicure treatment as we basked in the knot-loosening massage chairs. The ladies doing our nails were friendly, but didn't bother us when we were talking to each other. The pedicures themselves were pretty nice. My lady did a good job cleaning up ragged cuticles and shaping my toenails, which is always a struggle for me. Overall, Nail 2000 does a quick and cheap job. It's located conveniently close by so it's hard to go out of the way to another salon.

I searched online for a good place to visit for a facial that was both convenient for me based on time, location, and not crazy expensive. A Touch of Class ticked all the boxes. They weren't far from my home, they scheduled me for a late afternoon appointment so I could use my lunch hour to leave an hour early and make it there, and the total price was $55 before tip. (The facial is normally $65, but I went on their website and found a $10 coupon for a first-time visitor. Definitely check out their site for deals like that, as well as what monthly specials they have going on because their deals looked great!) When I walked in the door, the front team were very kind, and had me fill out a form with information on my skin, to better customize my facial. My esthetician was Spring and she was just awesome. Very personable and informed, she was a delight to chat with and also a great adviser for my skin care. She talked me through each product, so that I would know what it was and why it was beneficial to my skin. Each product was felt very nice, smelled great, and really seemed to work. Once the facial was over, they gave me a lovely bag of goodies, including some samples of the cleanser and sunscreen that was used on me. Now, I really like the cleanser, but have a few at home so maybe once I run out of those, I'll go and get that one, but the sunscreen? I have not been great about sunscreen unless I'm going to the beach because sunscreen clogs my pores and makes me break out. This one? Amazing. I've been using it with no clogging whatsoever, and I'm in love. I will be returning (as soon as I run out of my sample- which is a decent size to actually learn the product) soon to purchase the full-sized 50SPF Image facial sunscreen. As for the atmosphere, it was super calming. The lights were dimmed, spa music played in the background, and nice scents and warm towels helped to relax me. If you're at all uncomfortable with the idea of stripping down for pampering services like this, I think you'll be surprised at how modest you can feel. You first cover yourself in a good-sized towel wrap and then two layers of covers/blankets. As for what the facial entailed: I got probably one of the more basic facial options they offer, but I loved it, and it was exactly what my skin needed. Spring double cleansed my skin, exfoliated, masked, steamed, extracted, serumed, moisterized, SPF-ed, eye creamed, and lipmasked my face. (yes some of those aren't real contractions of words but you get what I'm saying) It was absolutely perfect for my kinda tired, dry winter, and a little flaky in places skin. (Also- Spring can extract milia. Maybe not all of them, but she got some really alloying ones near my eyes that I was prepared to die with on my face.) One week later, my face is clear and smooth and looking better than ever. Spring had recommended that if you can afford it, getting a facial at least once a season is super beneficial to ones skin, and you better believe I'm gonna try and make it in there every season now.
