I have tried going to many nail salons in Tallahassee and this is by far my favorite salon. The customer service is amazing. They will work with you with whatever special request you have. I'm pretty particular with the shape of my nail and they've always been so patient with me. I have had pedicures, acrylic nails, and now I "the dip" done at their place and I have never been disappointed. Tonight, I went into their salon and had the powder/dip done on my nails. And I have never been happier with my nails than I am tonight. Also, the staff stayed an extra 30 to 45 minutes after closing working on my nails. I took 3 people there that flew in for work from another location we have in South Florida. I was horrified as two cockroaches crawled out on the floor in front of us while we got our pedicures. The staff killed the bugs and acted like it was nothing. Won't be going back. read more

My nails were done poorly. They did not paint the entire nail. The acrylics nails were dented. They were playing info commercials on their tv. They charged me $7 to put one nail tip on my index finger since it was broken. I am so sad my nails look so bad. I am going to have to get them redone somewhere else. read more

This is the second nail joint I have enjoyed since being back in Tallahassee. While there are many salons to choose from, my friend recommended this salon and I am more than pleased. I chose the deluxe pedicure laced with refreshing minty rub, sugar scrub, hot stones, and sleep inducing leg and foot rubbing throughout the unleashing of all the aforementioned products. When deciding on where to go get a pedi, do not go to this place. Everyone's worst nightmare happen to me here. While getting a pedicure, the technician cut my foot. Then when I pointed it out to him and the owner, they treated me as if I was lying and told me that the cut must of been there before. It was not. I felt attacked and very mistreated. The cut immediately started looking like an infections only hours later and just 2 days later I was on oral antibiotics for a massive infection. I have attached photos, sorry they are gross. It was such a horrible and threatening experience there, I will never return. I hate to give bad reviews for business, but my infection was serious and I am still healing almost a month afterwards. Please run from this place, because if you do not you might not be able to run for a few weeks, because you have a massive foot infection. read more

ZERO STARS!!!!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE....RUDE MANAGEMENT/OWNER, ZERO RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER'S TIME! I gave one star because you HAVE TO to submit a review. I know this is long and it has to be because the experience was loooonnngg and AWFUL! Read before you go......save yourself the time, anger and inconvenience. On 1/2/2023, I made a 3:30 appointment for a gel manicure. I arrived early, was asked to pick my color and proceeded to wait 30 minutes before I was acknowledge again. I was then put in a side chair where someone applied the wraps to soak the original gel polish off my nails. I was left waiting in this process for 15 more minutes before I actually spoke up and asked when they thought they would get to me since it was now 4:15 and my appointment was for 3:30. I was told I was next and left to sit there another 10 minutes before a man came to check my nails and proceeded to pour acetone down the tin foil like the foil was a bowl. The acetone ran all down my hands, fingers, spilling out everywhere on the counter in front of me. My hands were dripping in acetone. I sat there with my mouth on the floor for another 10 minutes, at this point pissed off and waiting for him to return so I could tell him to get the foil off me so I could leave. I could not do anything without acetone pouring out of the foil all over the place. I couldn't touch my purse, nothing. He did not return. I then spoke up again and asked a lady walking by to just get ANYONE to take the foil wraps off me and remove the original polish which had now been "soaking off" for over 25 minutes. I was told it would be 1 minute and the lady doing my manicure was almost finished with her current manicure. 5 minutes later I was moved to a table where the person told me she would be with me in a moment. I then waited another 10 minutes before she returned. I asked her to please remove the original polish so I could leave. She did this and apologized multiple times and said she had seen me waiting for a while. After she removed the polish, barely shaped my nails and I washed my hands, she asked the female who originally wrapped my fingers what to charge me. I was then charged $10.75 for the 5 minutes spent removing the evaporated polish I walked in with an hour before. RIDICULOUS!! UNPROFESSIONAL! AWFUL OWNERSHIP/MANAGEMENT!!!!!!! I own a business and would never leave my client sitting 30 minutes after their scheduled appointment time. On the off chance I was running behind, I would communicate with the client and offer options so they know what to expect and probably offer a discount on services due to my inability to meet the scheduled appointment time. I was never told it would be a full hour before anyone actually touched my hands to perform the service I made an appointment for at 3:30. If I had known BEFORE they saturated my hands in acetone, I would have walked out. The guy in charge was awful! I don't know his name because he never said, though he was clearly running the place. He is the one that poured acetone down my fingers and hands. He never spoke with me again and did not seem to care. As I waited, I watched people without an appointment walk in (I know this because this same man asked every person that walked in if they hand an appointment) . These walk-in's were seated to have pedicures, which began right away, while I had now been waiting for an hour with an appointment. Bottom line, this place is very unprofessional and inconsiderate. They only appeared to care about how many people they could funnel through the door, not the quality of service. I will NEVER go here again and will warn every friend I have to stay away. I hope this was the management and not the owners because they don't stand a chance if the owners were the one's being so disrespectful, rude and inconsiderate!!! Since moving here several months ago I have been to three different nails salons hoping to find 'the' one nail place I can continue to go to. Well, I think I may have found it, and so close to my home too. I got the deluxe spa pedi, and the gentleman who did it was very thorough and gave long firm leg and foot massage. I've been here 3 times. First was ok, second visit was a Saturday and granted very busy. The head guy was doing my nails while multitasking answering the phone, making apts, and also getting people drinks. That was very distracting. This last time, a Thursday evening just overall think the place is going downhill or having monetary problems. Was served a glass on wine in a solo cup, and told only allowed 1 glass per customer when I asked for a refill after an hour and a half of being there. My pedicure paint job was sloppy with paint on my cuticles. There's a lot of better nail salons in town, and I'll be going elsewhere in the future. read more

I will NEVER go here again. I never judge a book by the cover but my nail guy was not there fully. He kept hitting my hand down aggressively and making noises at me. During the process I noticed how horrible my nails were and he told me he would fix them then never did. I really enjoyed getting my nails done here, the reason for 2 stars is because I also got a pedicure and was VERY DISAPPOINTED that they don't use the scraper to get the dead skin off. I was told that the owner doesn't allow the scraper only the scrub brush. For the price point you should have the option I have heavy dead skin on my feet and I know I need to use the scraper had I known before I sat down I would have gone some place else. I also don't appreciate them talking in their language about me. I knew they were because she continued to use the brush when I asked for the scraper instead of them saying to me what the issue is they were standing around talking to each other it wasn't until I refused to let her touch my feet anymore until I was told what the problem was. I understand they don't speak great English however it's rude to talk about your clients right in front of their face. Overall it's nice to get your nails done I say skip the pedicure here I feel as if they just washed my feet. read more

I would give negative stars if i could. The experience started out nice but a week later ended miserably. I got a $30 pedicure and ended up with $180 worth of medical bills! Their pumice stone/bar was not properly sanitized and the entire bottom of my foot was infected. I notified the manager and all of a sudden he didn't speak english. I wouldn't recommend Pink Nail Bar for dip nails. A couple days after getting my nails done, the top coat began to peel off. It looked like plastic coming off. After two weeks, I went back to see what happened or if they could do anything, and they told me it was normal to get dip nails re-done every 2 weeks. They were not willing to reconcile the situation or explain the shoddy job that was done. Dip nail polish normally lasts at least 3-6 weeks for me -- I normally get them redone after about 4 weeks. Having it last for under 2 weeks is unacceptable, especially when the employees are unwilling to make any accommodations to make it better. read more

Been going here happily for years. Management recently changed and it's still been kinda okay, until today. My service started with the previous patrons clipped nails still on the work space while my nails were being wrapped. Upon further inspection, I noticed the entire workspace was filthy. Then the incorrect acrylic sanding tool was being used to sand off my old dip instead of a sanding band which caused my natural nail to burn several times. Then he noted that my cuticles were in bad shape and did I want to pay for a manicure? I asked, Isen't it included? He said, no. I've been having this same dip service there for YEARS, and my cuticles have always been attended to, so I was a bit confused. Then he did not properly prepare my nails to accept the dip powder. The end result is kinda lumpy dip nails with extra dip all over several areas of skin around my nails. They look horrible and I told him so. I said it was sloppy and I was not happy. My daughters dip nails by Tyler looked beautiful, as Tyler is the consummate professional. Ultimately they did not charge me for my service, which was not my goal, I offered to pay anyway and he refused because I said I was not happy...so I tipped Tyler for my daughters nails and left....NEVER TO RETURN! read more
