I had began to think that my face had dry skin and then I had it confirmed when I went to get my…read moreface waxed. Consequently, I knew it was that time of year to get a facial done as this happens to me every single year. My waxing lady recommended Remedy Spa and off I went. First thing is first - to make an appointment, you're going to have to do that online. You can probably do it via phone, but the website was so much faster and it was very user friendly. They provide descriptions of all their employees and what work they do. At Remedy Spa, they offer facials, massages, yoga classes, and even a boutique to buy clothes from. They do A LOT, which is a bit scary as usually one service or another suffers but not the case here. I initially went in for a facial with Frankie and it rejuvenated my skin, so I said why not get a massage? Went back weeks later and got a relaxation message with Frankie. I nearly fell asleep both times. Heavily enjoyed myself. I do think next time I'm going to have to get a deep-tissue massage though. I've been having so much stress in my life lately that I have many knots, and well, it's time to kick it up a notch. I do have to say I will return for sure, I'm just not sure when. If I were a more consistent customer, I'd purchase their membership plan as I think it's worth it. Getting a facial or massage done every month sounds lovely.

I've been going to remedy spa for a couple of years and have tried a few therapists, all amazing!…read moreThis year however, I've been receiving somatic massage sessions from Julia, and the transformation has been truly life-changing. Julia is incredibly intuitive and brings such a bright light into the healing space. Through these sessions, I've gained deeper self-awareness and I feel more connected to my natural gifts. I've learned how to listen to my body with greater intention which has helped me in so many other areas of life. Julia creates a safe and nurturing space for deep healing, and I can't recommend her enough to anyone seeking holistic and transformative bodywork. Over the past few months in conjunction with talk therapy her work has helped me access and process repressed memories and emotions that were keeping me stagnant the past 27 years. She's helped me to clear and strengthen my energy field and I leave every session floating on a blissful pink cloud. She's helped me accomplish in 6 months what 10 years of talk therapy couldn't quite do; and for that I'm extremely grateful.

I received a coupon in my email, so I decided to go back again. I've never had my hair dyed, so we decided to go with some baby-lights. Nothing too crazy, but she made my salon experience awesome! I hadn't heard about this salon before and was ready to try it out because it was so cheap! The salon itself was nicer than I expected on the inside and everyone who was working was really friendly. The groupon was specifically for Brittany and she was really friendly as well. My main problem with this place is that they double dip the popsicle stick they use while waxing in the wax pot, which is a huge problem!!! There have been horror stories of girls going in for a wax and getting a STD or some kind of disease because it is not hygienic. They also use strip wax for a Brazilian which is not my preference. She seemed rushed while doing the wax and didn't really do the best job. I will not be coming back here for a wax ever again.
