i just left from here and i went in with high expectations, but i was let down terribly. the restaurant itself is very beautiful and nicely decorated so that's a plus! but everything else wasn't the best. first, we get seated and i can't barely hear my server because we are sitting right infront of a speaker that seems to be at max volume. me and my family eventually got super overstimulated by this and i even got a headache. second, we did get there after 1:30pm so we missed brunch. but i asked my server if they had regular grits because the only option i saw on the menu was gouda, to which he said no. which is not his fault, but it would be nice to have a regular pot of grits because not everyone can consume cheese and menu items are already limited. third, once we found out only the dinner menu was available i asked about substituting the mac and cheese because i don't eat cheese and the answer was no. it would be nice to be able to substitute my side because there is a menu item that i don't eat. fourth, my sister ordered the bang bang or boom boom chicken and she did not like it. she tasted a piece and immediately asked could she exchange it or return it. the place looked exactly how it looked when they served it to us minutes one piece of chicken being bitting off of. it's unfair to paint for food you don't like and that you didn't eat. fifth, i do not mind auto grat at all, but it is predatory when it is included and then the prompt asks you to tip more. typically after an auto grat tip the range is 5%-15% extra. but here it was 15-25%. which is insane especially bc my service was not the best. and THEN i read my receipt and it said auto grat is automatically applied for parties of 0 or more... 0 or more.. when auto grat is typically applied for larger parties in conclusion, the food wasn't great for the price point, the service wasn't the best, the ambiance was overstimulating, and the way the business is ran is a bit predatory. i won't be returning, but i hope you can take this review and possibly learn something

Let's get into the decor first. It's vibes and instagramable areas all around! You could literally have a photo shoot around the restaurant. It's curated beautifully. The service was awesome. Our waitress was attentive and by the end of our lunch it felt like we'd become friends. She more than earned the automatic 20% gratuity. The food was great. We started off strong with great appetizers. We tried the queso dip and the seafood dip and they also had an off menu special with these buffalo wontons that hit the spot as well. The entrees were very filling and we all needed take home plates. But ir you go...go for the cocktails. They were crafted beautifully. Some were strong, and some were just cute so choose wisely. I'll definitely be back.

Came in from Cali and I loved Pink Lotus. The fried okra with rosemary was a first time for me and they were fried perfectly. The really short waitress with braces was my favorite. She was funny and made the experience even better. We were lucky enough to be able to snag a photo with the chef as well. She was so nice. Lastly, so glad that they had prosecco. I judge restaurants on their wine and prosecco choices. Can't wait to go back. Yumm.

I came here with a group of friends to celebrate a friend's birthday and our server Brenda was awesome. We tried the spinach dip, lotus dip (seafood), Raq'a Fella Lotus Pearl Bread, fried okra and the buffalo chicken wontons. Everything was good but the dips were my favorite appetizers. I had the fried chicken entree and it was juiciest most flavorful fried chicken Ive had (and i rarely order fried chicken in sit down restaurants.) I had the petal punch and it definitely packed a punch! The music was great, the decor was beautiful and I will definitely be back!

Love the fun ecclectic interior & exterior :) Delicious drinks/food & a very cool ambiance. You can tell they take the extra step with every dish & every detail to ensure it tastes great but also has an aesthetically pleasing touch!

While hungry my little sister and I embarked on a journey in New Orleans to find food and stumbled upon this gem. Great customer service, music, and food. Inside and outside seating. Areas to take photos. Nice bar. My lamb burger was so delicious and the fries I wish I ordered another side of them. My sister had the chicken which she said was delicious as well and from the way my niece kept going in her bag I would have to agree. The lemonades are very good and sweet. I tried blueberry and my sister had strawberry.

Ok, I don't like to post reviews that are less than four stars so let me explain. I went for Mother's Day. I didn't even know this place existed and just happened onto it. It's caribbean/ creole fusion. The staff was great. The food was really and the drinks were delicious. Decor is really cute. But they were unexpectedly slammed and had a table of almost 20 people before me so my food took close to an hour to arrive. I will definitely be going back!

The music & place looks amazing!!! Staff was very friendly, lots of pictures worthy spots to get cute shots!

The lemon drop shot was pretty good and the chips and dip. My only small gripe is that I wish we had a little more chips for the sample.

We had reservations on a Saturday night and were seated almost immediately. As we passed the bar I noticed they had a huge bourbon selection which is always cool. I ordered a "Well She Starts Monday" which is a cocktail made with Buffalo Trace, Cynar liqueur, and Fig Syrup. I was not a fan of this one, so I ordered an Old Fashioned for my second drink, and it was a little better. I got a Burrata for an appetizer which seemed like a caprese salad served with crispy bread triangles. This was really good. For an entree, I got Beef Wellington which until then I had never had. Mansplained, this is a steak cooked medium rare inside of a puff pastry with 2 different sauces on it. Phenomenally good! The atmosphere is really dark with low lighting, dark cherry wood everywhere. The music was bad and loud. If it was one or the other it would have been fine, but this was like if someone gave Yoko Ono glowsticks and said start and EDM band. The Husky is meant for a younger crowd. The food was 5 stars; the atmosphere and experience were probably more like 3 stars.

My friend had the pork dumplings which she said were delicious and I snitched a bit of the mole which was also amazing. The caprese bruschetta was also very good and a slightly different version than the usual. The only dish that was just OK was the red ceviche; and it was tasty, but just more vegetables than fish. We also had the tres leches for dessert and it was really good. We both had a cocktail. I had a mojito and my friend had the aguasanta. The presentation of the food came was amazing. We ordered the linguine and added meatballs, which was well worth it. We also ordered the shrimp & grits, which included Brussels sprouts. Boy, it was sure nice to get some vegetables in my stomach after eating all that yummy fried food during our stay! All in all, both dishes were delicious. It is a little on the pricey side, but after several days of eating in the touristy area of the French Quarter, this was truly a welcome change. Service was polite and attentive. I always appreciate the staff's efforts by making simply making eye contact and smiling (which they did). Seems trivial but I think those small things says a lot about a business. The ambiance is amazing, plus velvet, emerald and sapphire tone, glitzy, and feels like a good photo op. The bar and cocktail menu looked expansive. However, I was going to be hopping on a meeting, so I could not partake, unfortunately. A group got this impressive tower of espresso martini and everyone seemed to be enjoying their drinks! I wanted that New Orleans seafood but had late lunch, so I opted for just the crispy gulf shrimp on cheesy grits. I really wished I can hungrier because the dish ended up being very heavy. The shrimp were nice and crispy. The charred Brussels sprouts gave me the false sense that this was a healthy dish because I was getting my veggie intake. The bacon jam was sweet and went well with the Brussels sprouts. I loved the combination of the cheesy grits and the Crystal hot sauce. It was the perfect amount of both and some how led me to understand why Americans put hot sauce on their Mac n cheese and some other cheesy dishes after 30 years of not really understanding the attraction to that combo. I got the marinated olives to go so I could have a little snack later. They were just stuff I feel I could get in a jar... not really sure if I could justify the price. I think this is a fine place if you're looking for a photogenic night out drinking with a group of friends. Could be really cute for brunch!
