Anyways, I don't enjoy deep tissue or heavy massages but I kept thinking while he was massaging "the foot part is coming I'm sure" ... it never did. It was a good massage but not what I had expected. Checking out is when I realized I was given the 70 dollar deep tissue instead of the 48 dollar foot massage. I did express my disappointment/ confusion and they took off 9 dollars. Anyways if you do go make sure you point at the menu at what you want and repeat it. If you made an online appointment don't assume they even looked at it.

My doctor wanted me to get an expensive MRI as a likely prelude to surgery. But I had heard about some great work that Meghan has done and thought that maybe I should investigate her approach before I start down the more conventional path of Western medicine. That was a very, very good decision on my part. I met with Meghan about 10 times over eight weeks for acupuncture on my heel and leg. Each session usually lasted about 45-55 minutes. In that time, Meghan got me back on my feet, pain-free and so much more. Not only did she effectively address the pain but she also prescribed a daily routine of specific stretches to help me get to the root of what caused the spur in the first place. And while we were at it, because I had mentioned feeling congested from allergies, she concocted an herbal tea recipe that completely cleared that up as well. Acupuncture and herbal medicine have been around for over 3,000 years. So I probably shouldn't have been surprised that it was so effective. What did NOT surprise me though was how thoughtful and careful and creative Meghan Schmit was in diagnosing my situation and expertly delivering the appropriate remedies. Obviously I didn't recognize this number or understand why I was receiving this random message from a random number. So I asked who it is. The response was extremely rude saying "You called me. Who is this?!?" I'm attaching the screenshot of this exchange. For a massage therapist that indicates on their website that they treat clients with dignity and respect, this response to someone reaching out to your business for the very first time is very unprofessional and contradictory to what they proclaim their values are.
