Earlier this year I was stricken with pain on my left side. Just could not relieve the tightness and struggled to perform every day activities. Then I remembered someone telling me about the talent at the Wilmette Massage center. True professionals in a lovely environment, right in my backyard, and across from the Linden train station. So they introduced me to their newest staff member Alfredo, and well, I have been back every week since April and sometimes twice a week. What a pleasant experience, and truly therapeutic, I feel like a million dollars, no kidding. The pain was gone the first session, and now my weekly massage allows me the mobility, and stress relief I am seeking. Their hours are great too! Need a massage - go there! Nancy K. read more

I had a massage today with Amy and she was INCREDIBLE. One of the best massages I have had in a while. I have been running a lot more lately since the weather has gotten warmer and pulled a muscle recently. She completely reduced the pain in my leg and also the eliminated the tension in my shoulders. I can't wait to go back! read more

If you've had a number of masseuse in the past who just unknotted muscles with sheer force and left you feeling worse afterwards, you need to give WMC a try. WMC has actual licensed massage therapists, and Margaret is just phenomenal. The massage therapists here try to understand your pain points to identify the root cause rather than randomly pressing all over your body. Margaret was so amazing that I visited WMC twice in a month. read more

Best massage I've ever had and I LOVE massages! I left there feeling amazing like is this how people normally feel everyday?!? Amazing. I am so glad to have found this place! read more

I was in desperate need for a massage yesterday. I called and they asked me to set up an appointment online so I could sign the covid waiver. It was very easy and I was able to get an appointment with Larry in the afternoon. When I got there they took my temperature. The spa was very clean and Larry was very friendly. The massage was heavenly. It was the perfect pressure unlike when I got one at a foot reflexology and the massage was a little painful since I was so tense. Larry was very sensitive to me not wanting to talk initially. However he was very friendly when I asked him questions. He was also good at knowing where my pressure points were particularly in my scalp. Also I was able to get a first time discount. I highly recommend this place in terms of safety, quality of massage, customer service and price! read more

We discovered this gem on one of our trips some years ago and make a point to come here every time we are in the area. Igor handpicks most capable therapists and lets them be themselves. With each massage we experience a different approach but all of the therapists do excellent job customizing the treatment to our needs. The only downside is that they have just 3 treatment rooms so despite their best efforts it's hard to schedule two last minute massages at the same time. read more

Just received another great massage at Wilmette massage! Zack was my therapist this time. He did an excellent job asking questions about what I needed and checked in throughout the massage to see if the pressure was good. He did an excellent job! Thanks, Zack. I'm a former LMT that specialized in clinical, therapeutic massage, so my standards are pretty high. In the past I've also had great massages from Alfredo & Mihaela. Igor, the owner of Wilmette massage, can recommend a therapist based on your needs and preferred style of massage. It's nice to be able to support a great local business and walk away feeling amazing :) read more

I've been going here for years. This place has phenomenal therapists who are highly trained and worth every penny. The best on the north shore by far, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I was a lucky massage gift recipient and was wowed from the start. Alfredo came highly recommended and was everything and more. I came with 2 issues that badly needed attention but I got the full treatment. And have felt so much better. Even had a few tips to help my shoulders. Alfredo is excellent, talented and you can trust that he will take good care of you. Wilmette Massage Center is the best. read more

This is a professional massage center. I am a weekly customer, where I receive a healing therapeutic massage from Alfredo. A true professional. Thank you to the entire staff. If you need a massage this is the place. Nancy K read more

I get massages probably every 3 weeks and Wilmette is my go-to place! I've tried practically all the therapists and must say they all are really really good. Currently I book Manny a lot and he just does wonders in getting all my knots out without making me feel beat up. I judge a great massage if I fall asleep on the table---and here I almost always do. I like that the rooms are clean, comfortable, warm, and dimly lit which is very relaxing. They have a white noise machine which works great and of course the requisite spa music is a must! I've been to other salons that have great therapists but the place itself is uncomfortable and loud but Wilmette Massage has both great therapists and great atmosphere to get relaxing therapeutic massages. The prices are very competitive and I like that you can book easily online. Love this place! read more

I almost don't even want to write a review because I don't want all of you to start coming here and making it difficult for me to get after-work appointments! But really, this secret is just too good to keep. Wilmette Massage Center = AMAZING. I usually go to Margaret but I've also seen 2 other therapists and all, while different, have been great. The prices are reasonable, the facilities are clean and calm. But most of all, the massages are out of this world amazing. Every time I leave, I say to myself "ohmygod that was the best massage ever" and then I go again and it's even better. Seriously, this place is the best. read more

I have had massages all over the country (and all over the Chicago area before moving east), and some of the best I have received at Wilmette Massage. I still return here for heavenly massages when I'm back visiting family. I have a had a couple of different therapists, and both have been amazing. They now do scheduling online, so it is simple and easy to make an appointment. It isn't a spa, but that is one of the things I love about it. I highly recommend it, and wish I could find something comparable in dc...or move them to dc. read more

In LOVE. I has izabela (unsure of spelling) and she is PHENOMENAL request her when you can. She listens is attentive, has the perfect touch and just really took the experience to another level. I was stoked at how easy it was to make an appointment online... I called around several places without openings for days or weeks and in the pain I am in I needed a massage NOW! I drove all the way from edgewater and I am so glad I did. This place is a must. Between the massage, easy appointment making, and amazing first time and frequency discounts you would be an idiot not to come here!!!! read more

Absolutely loved my massage here and especially my masseuse, Margaret. She gave me the best massage I have had in ages. I found this place based on Yelp reviews and chose it because it was close to where we were staying (visiting family) and also because they had reasonable prices. There is always a risk that taking the cheaper option will disappoint but this one did not. Looking forward to seeing Margaret again when we are back next summer. read more

This is a quality establishment. It is simply, but beautifully appointed. The massage therapists are high quality, and each unique. Prices are more than fair, and you can get discounts on packages or for weekly/biweekly appointments. The owner, Igor, is also a massage therapist, a good man, and he knows how to choose good therapists. You will like the peaceful vibe here. (The parking is easy, close, and free, too!) read more

I have never felt more well rested and relaxed than after my massages at Wilmette Massage Center. After my first time, due to a crazy schedule, I didn't return for 2 months. But when I did, Dana instantly remembered me and even asked about my migraines. Dana has been nothing but a phenomenal masseuse - so much so that I now plan to return bi-monthly to really take advantage of her amazing massages! I recommend Wilmette Massage Center to everyone now and can't wait to return. read more

Margarate still truly is a godsend!!! Don't know what I would do without her. she's worth every mile that I drive since I moved an hour away from where she's located lol. Sweetest friendliest lady I know! Best masseuse I won't consider anything close to me now lol! read more

I just had a massage by Agata. She is amazing. It was the nicest, most relaxing massage I've ever had. 10/10 would do it again.

I miss Igor, Isabella and Margaret! I moved to another state but when I come back to Chicago I'll make sure I come back for a massage. This place is amazing and I miss it so much. The staff are excellent and deserve to be treated with respect. read more

I live downtown but it's honestly worth it to make the trek up north because WMC therapist's are THAT good. Clean, calming, and come out feeling brand new every appointment! --if you can Maya and Margaret are fantastic to work with! read more

I've been coming here for sometime hoping there would be a change but I didn't get any good results. Maragret took me in, I informed her on areas that were giving me problems and she massaged everything but those areas. I didn't feel any better after the massage. She neglected the areas I wanted her to focus on and I didn't get the full massage I hoped for. I'm still in pain and don't fully feel like I got a thorough massage. Therefore, I gave this place 2 stars. read more

I have been getting massages regularly for the past fifteen years. . At long last, I have found THE place that I will be going from now on with THE masseuse I will be seeing. Margaret read my muscles like a book and gave the best massage I have ever had. It was so good that I booked a follow up one week later to take advantage of the promotional deal they had. I cannot say enough great things about this place. Check it out! read more

Wilmette Massage Center is absolutely fantastic! I walked into Wilmette Massage Center seeking treatment for chronic shoulder pain, which had intensified during my pregnancy. The knowledgeable woman at the front desk suggested that I schedule a consultation with Igor, which I did. When I met with Igor, he carefully listened to my concerns and thoughtfully suggested treatment options. After my first massage session, I felt relief from the pain. After several weekly appointments, the debilitating pain I had experienced was gone! The massage sessions were very targeted, and I could tell that Igor really knew what he was doing (where to put pressure, how much pressure, etc.). He was extremely conscientious about eliciting my feedback, in order to provide the most effective treatment possible. While my shoulder does require massage maintenance, I have been absolutely thrilled to find a way to manage the pain without the use of medication. In addition to providing effective treatment for chronic pain, Igor and all of the therapists I encountered were extremely knowledgeable, professional, responsive, helpful, modest, and kind. I most highly recommend Wilmette Massage Center! read more

I had a lovely massage here. I had been having neck and back pain from stress, so I decided to try this place, which is near my house. I booked an appointment he night before I went - it was easy as could be - no hassles at all. My massage was nice and relaxing - the therapist was attentive and listened if I said there was too much or not enough pressure. After my session was over, I felt so much better! I would definitely recommend to anyone on the North Shore. read more

Watch out for the 'cab only parking spot' across from the store. It has white rectangular parking lines, but you will get fined if you park at the spot which is for CAB PARKING. It's easy to get confused, and cops love ticketing at this spot. Have a nice day! read more

I love this place! Igor runs a very professional business with wonderful therapists.

Clean, quiet.. Super comfortable/soft/warm massage bed. Easy online booking.. Good prices. Decided last night I'd like a massage today, was able to look at descriptions of massage therapists, their specialties etc. Booking offered variety of styles and lengths even once I chose someone. I enjoyed the massage so much (and they had an offer going) that I bought a package of six. Looking forward to going back next month! read more

I have been coming here for years. It is consistent, comfortable, very clean and a welcome respite from stress. Christine is a great massage therapist. Margaret is also wonderful and very versatile. I have intermittently tried the others due to timing, and have never had a bad massage here. This is by far the best place on the North Shore. I like to buy the gift certificates for friends. read more

I had an AMAZING massage with Margaret this week. She was intuitive and clearly very experienced. She was able to locate the root of some hip pain I've been suffering from for the last couple months, and several days later and I'm still pain-free! i have never felt compelled to write a yelp review. and clearly there isnt a need to re-assure people how great this place is, you need only read all the 5 star reviews. i have gone to WMC for 5 years and have always been 100% satisfied. however i did feel the need to share my most recent experience. i called WMC on short notice hoping to get a deep tissue massage. i was told there was a slot open in my desired time w/ 'Manny". i wont lie and say i didnt hesitate a bit, and i know that sounds awful. Manny is the single best therapist i have received massage from in 15 years. as i mentioned before i dont write reviews or heap false praise, but i assure you if you get a massage from Manny it will be one of the best of your life. read more
