Found this place on Yelp since it was one of the only spots open that early, and I'm glad I did. Walked in and was immediately greeted by the the 2 girls at the front, super friendly, welcoming, and helpful while I was figuring out what to order. That alone set the tone. The place was clean and felt alive. I went with the large breakfast: two fresh eggs, bacon, a guava pastry, and a café con leche, all of it hit. You can tell the food is made fresh, not rushed or mass-produced. While ordering, I couldn't help but notice all the other food they have... and yeah, I ended up ordering way more than I needed But honestly, no regrets, I've got food for the next couple days. Definitely coming back. It's rare to find a spot that's open at 5:30 AM 3min from me, serves fresh, homestyle breakfast, and actually delivers on quality and service. I was stuck at the house on a Saturday and looking to order lunch. I remembered Pinecrest Bakery was open so I placed an order for a media noche sandwich, a guava and cheese tequeno and a guava and cheese pastelito. The sandwich was delicious. There was a massive amount of ham and pork, the bread was soft and the flavor was fantastic. The pastelito was flaky with a nice mix of guava and cheese but I really liked the tequeno. The pastry was both crispy and soft and the filling was outstanding. This bakery is a great addition to the neighborhood. Can't wait to use them for catering for future parties. read more

Pinecrest Bakery delivered an incredible experience from start to finish. I ordered the chicken croquetas and the churrasco sandwich, and both were absolutely packed with flavor. The croquetas were crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned on the inside, while the churrasco sandwich was hearty, tender, and very satisfying. I was also recommended to mix the passion fruit juice with the mango juice, and that turned out to be a game changer. The combination was refreshing, unique, and complemented the meal perfectly. The staff was super nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Since this is a brand new location, everything looked very clean and well maintained, something I really appreciated. we were so excited and still are about Pinecrest bakery opening up only five minutes from us. We first tried this bakery when we were in Key West and absolutely fell in love. We would often talk about the Pastelitos and everything that we had and how we remembered it. Now that this bakery is finally open we absolutely had to go and try it and see if it was as good as we remembered it. Let me just say it's even better! The Pastelitos are baked to perfection, with a flaky buttery crust, and delicious feelings. The café con Leche was excellent made and not too sweet. Inside is also spacious and very nice. We will absolutely be catering and having for breakfast this bakery for the near future. read more

We have been to the one all the way down south in Miami and forgot this one opened closer to home until I wanted something sweet. My husband remembered it opened recently so we decided to stop by. The woman who helped us was so kind and patient and also made great recommendations. We went to the register like 3 times and kept buying food because everything was so good. We had a colada, ham croquetas, a ropa vieja empanada, chicken empanada, steak bowl, and a delicious chocolate mousse dessert cake. Everything we got was fresh and hot and tasted great. It's also pretty clean in there and service was fast. Can't wait to go back! read more

I keep coming back to this place for a reason. The empanadas are incredible, the fresh-squeezed orange juice tastes like real oranges not processed, not watered down, just fresh and delicious. Today I had the turkey BLT and it was amazing. Everything tastes so fresh, comforting, and authentically Latin, like homemade food made with love. Honestly, the empanadas reminded me of the kind my tía used to make at home. That warm, homemade flavor is hard to find, and this place really captures it. And don't even get me started on the desserts the cheese pastry took me right back to Puerto Rico and my local panadería in Bayamón. I haven't had one that good in a very long time. On top of that, the staff is extremely helpful, attentive, and always on point. You can tell they genuinely care about the customers and the experience.
