An amazing bonus when staying at this hotel, having our own dole whip on property! The line can get longer I believe closer to night time but when we got ours, the employee Jacob made my bday memorable with these dole whips! Obviously very delicious and couldn't go wrong with the special dole whip that they had: Mickey Pumpkin Soft serve (pumpkin spice with coconut-haupia with caramel drizzle, graham cracker crumbs and a white chocolate mickey shaped pumpkin on top)! We went when there was no line (around 4:23 pm on 09/02/25) so that was even better!

When you are visiting the Polynesian resort, definitely indulge in a sweet treat here! After having such a big dinner, my mom and I still made room for a pineapple dole whip. This is a walk-up window right outside the back door of the lobby and to the left. Ordering was an easy process. I got the small pineapple dole whip. There were plenty of tables to sit at outside. The sweet treat was delicious. The pineapple flavor has a real pineapple flavor and is not artificial at all. It is mixed with vanilla ice cream that was creamy. Definitely get you one. This is a great location because it is on the way to the pool or back into the hotel. The seating is covered, which is great due to the unpredictability of Florida weather. This spot really makes you feel the Polynesian vibes.

During our stay at the Polynesian, we always had to come here at least once a day, sometimes even twice a day, lol. It beats going to the park, and you can just relax while having your dole whip. People who worked there were super nice and even told me about the seasonal offerings they had.

When here, get Dole Whip! There really isn't much else to say about the Pineapple Lanai. Anytime you want a Dole Whip, you can get it here! Swimming in the pool... get a Dole Whip Eating lunch... get a Dole Whip Shopping at the gift shop... get a Dole Whip You get the idea, right?! Service is fast and friendly. Lines and be long but move quickly so be ready to order. It's a walk up window with a few tables outside to sit and enjoy your treat.

While staying at the Polynesian Resort during our visit at Disney World, my family and I had to stop by the Pineapple Lanai at least one day! This spot offers dole whips at the Polynesian Resort. The line can get lengthy, but it does move pretty quick! At the Pineapple Lanai, you can get traditional soft serve swirls and floats! You can choose a souvenir Tiki Sippers as well! The flavors are pineapple, vanilla or swirl. If you're looking for the Pineapple Lanai, it's outside the great Ceremonial House at the Disney Polynesian Village Resort. Service was quick and the team members were friendly! The prices aren't too bad, between $5-6 depending if you choose a soft serve or a float. The dole whip was delicious! My husband got a pineapple float and he enjoyed it! I'd highly recommend stopping by here if you're visiting the Polynesian or looking to take a quick break from the theme parks!

We came to the Polynesian Resort knowing it was one of the only places that have Dole Whip outside the park (at least off the top of my head). To start, this place is located outside of the resort and there isn't much seating in front of Pineapple Lanai. We got a Pineapple Float to share and the guy at the register offered us the add on of a shot of Rum on the side to which we said, why not. It's about what you expect as far as Dole Whip in pineapple juice but the rum definitely went well with everything. Very big portion so I'd recommend sharing if you just want a pineapple sugar bomb.

Perfect for that Dole Whip craving! There are also special Dole Whip flavors you can't find at the park or other resorts! Super convenient location too! Just go straight into the resort, then go back out the next set of doors and turn left. I was in the mood for some soft serve and ordered a swirl: pineapple and vanilla. From the texture to the refreshing and comforting fruity/cream flavors, I enjoyed every bite! I was also tempted to try the 'Olu Mel float because it's lime flavored, but I couldn't eat that much sugar in one sitting :(. Hope someone enjoys one for me!

I love dole whip and I love the accessibility to it at the Polynesian resort! It's so refreshing and light and just the perfect treat to combat the Florida heat and humidity. Just make sure you eat it quick because it melts so fast and they fill your cup full so it just runs all over your fingers.

Service was quick! It's not the real dole whip like in hawaii but it is what it is. 3 different option to buy, ended up with the dole whip float.

Nice little tucked away kiosk at Disney's Polynesian Resort that serves Dole Whip. It comes in 3 flavours now, not just pineapple: lime, vanilla and pineapple. Rumor is there are also other flavours but that yesterday's offerings. You can also get it with a shot of coconut rum if you're over 21, and make it into a delicious concoction. (I highly recommend this). Stop by, get the kids a pineapple whip and yourselves an adult one to enjoy. You will thank me.

I've had the Pineapple Whip at Magic Kingdom and it was decent. I was reluctant to give it a go when visiting the Polynesian, but SO glad I did. The Pineapple Lanai would be easy to pass by. Don't. The staff was super friendly and rolled with my handful of questions with ease. My twist was superb and truly a great value for a Disney treat. Light, tasty and it knocks it out of the park! We ate at the Polynesian Beach watching the boats come in and the sun beginning to set. Truly couldn't ask for a better vibe or dessert. Its worth a hop on -hop off the monorail.

I can't thank Disney enough for bringing this little treat out of the park and available to those who aren't able to afford a ticket. Being able to get literally one of the tastiest and refreshing desserts ever and now easier than ever! First off, there aren't a lot of choices here. It's just like the Dole whip station at Magic Kingdom. You choose between Vanilla or Pineapple Whip and whether you want it in a cup, cone or a float. GET THE FLOAT. It's the ONLY way to eat it. My husband gets it swirled in a cup and I also feel like he's missing out :) Another great thing about having this little gem at the Polynesian is that you can enjoy the atmosphere of the resort without having to stay there. Now.... if only Universal would let you be able to get Butterbeer outside of the park :( Then life would be pretty much perfect. read more

Pineapple Lanai is probably my favorite snack spot in all of Disney World. This is the spot to get your Dole whip, pineapple float, swirls or whatever. It's located outside of the Polynesian resort. When I asked the idiots inside the resort where is Pineapple Lanai, they didn't even know what it was until I said "the Dole whip spot". We ordered a Dole whip and a pineapple float with vanilla soft serve ice cream. The portion and price for these are reasonable and they are eligible for Disney's dining plan snack credit. If you have ton of snack credits remaining like I did, this is the perfect place to use them up because you're gonna want more than one Dole whip. The service lady at Pineapple Lanai was also a sweetheart. She was the nicest person we encountered at the Polynesian Resort. Everyone else at that resort were rude and as fake as their Polynesian cuisine at Ohana. Verdict - if you missed out on this delicious sweet treat at Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom, I think those are the only two parks that serves them, make sure you try them at Pineapple Lanai at Polynesian resort. This is one of the few snack credits I would suggest that is worth using for. read more

My husband and I were at The Polynesian Resort because of our dinner reservation at 'Ohana. We were there a little early and decided to explore. We found this right outside the main building. Nicole gave us free samples because we had never tried Dole Whip before. We got Dole Whip and vanilla swirl in a cup. It was so delicious!!! We were able to share just one because we were going to have a big dinner ahead of us, but I could have finished one on my own for sure. Also, there is seating right in front so that you can buy another one immediately after you finish your first. Haha! Give it a go! Note: When I was at Magic Kingdom, I tried to get the swirl at Aloha Isle and they said they didn't serve it there. :( read more

One of the best places to grab ice cream especially a Dole Whip. Even if you aren't a fan of Pineapple you will love the Dole Whip so much. It is one of the best treats on Disney Property. A small location but amazing. The staff is so nice and I recommend truly a Dole Whip. read more

Dole whip. That is all. Only one place in the world to get one, along with the atmosphere, there's only one place better and it's across bay lake. However since they upgraded the resort you can now sit outside, enjoy your dole whip and absorb the atmosphere. read more

What more is there to say other than DOLE WHIP?!? We were at the Polynesian and had to stop and share a dole whip. I am not an ice cream fan, but this was fantastic! Lived up to every bit of the hype. The place is a cute little outdoor space and just off the main part of the resort lobby. You can enjoy the seating here or take your treat and walk down to the beach, sit on a swing and enjoy the scenery. read more

I love the Polynesian and after breakfast at Kona we headed over to grab something sweet. For the price, I wasn't impressed with the serving size. I also had higher expectations based on other experiences with "dole whips" but this was just pineapple soft serve. I feel like it was marketed to be something else. I should have tried the pineapple/vanilla swirl or the float - maybe next time. Service here was great, I just wish that for the price there was more value. read more

One word: DOLE WHIP. The only place to get this amazing frozen treat outside of the Magic Kingdom. I specifically come to the Polynesian for this treat. So if you are a DOLE WHIP lover like me and don't want to/have access to the Magic Kingdom, this is your place to go. It will satisfy every inch of your dole whip craving and you will be the happiest person while watching the fireworks on the beach. read more

One of only 3 places in Disneyworld to secure a Dole Whip. Take the boat from MK or the GF and enjoy the ride. Only MK near the Tikki Room and Animal Kingdom have the Dole Whip otherwise. read more

Stopped here to get a drink with my friend while we waited to go to Trader Sam's. Had a Mai Tai which was very good and decent size. While we were there it was not very crowded, they seemed to be closing. However, this bar is located right next to Ohana and could see it being very busy during breakfast and dinner. The bartenders were very nice and talkative. The one bartender told us the Polynesian hotel was where John Lennon signed the official paperwork ending The Beatles which we never knew. read more

This is a great place to stop for a Dole Whip while lounging by the pool at the Polynesian. I'm not an extreme fan of the dole whip, as I always felt it needed more of a creamy component, but I ordered one here nevertheless. Next tim I will have to try the vanilla/ pineapple swirl that they exclusively offer here. read more

I absolutely love this place! It is beyond one of my favorite locations outside of the parks. If I don't feel like going all the way to magic kingdom it's awesome to know that I can get my dole whip fix on! The dole whip in a cup was light and sweet. A good number of seats available to relax and gaze at the beautiful lush plants in the Polynesian community. The odd thing I noticed is there doesn't seem to be much consistency in the way the various whip cups and floats are created. Depending on who the server is, I've seen whips swirled out in a tall mountain, while the next one is created short and fat. read more

Sometimes you just need a Dole Whip fix. If you can't get into the Magic Kingdom or don't want to deal with crowds you can sneak over to the Polynesian Resort and get some. This little stand is tucked outside right off the main lobby and behind the Captain Cook restaurant. They serve the traditional, swirl, and floats you can get in the park with no line. There is a little seating area or a large grassy area to sit out, enjoy the whip, and take in the Hawaiian setting. Can't beat this amenity that's only a Monorail ride away from the parks. read more

We tried to get into the Polynesian resort because I saw on yelp that it was located on these premises and we're unsuccessful. The security guard at the gate acted like he never heard of pineapple lanai and wouldn't let us go through or give us more information on where it was located. He treated us like we were suspicious and didn't even offer to help us. What a waste of driving 15min to get here. read more

They don't have the Dole Whip soft serve at Captain Cooks in the Polynesian Resort anymore?!? Nooooooooooooooooooooo. Then, Pineapple Lanai happened. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees. As good as always. No longer self-serve. Includes the float varieties available at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom. There are several tables on the lanai, but also plenty of seats in the lobby, to enjoy your deliciousness. read more

What the...Dole Whip...at the Polynesian? HUZZAH! I missed my chance at Dole Whip at the Magic Kingdom on our last day due to on/off rain, so I was just tickled pink...err pineapple yellow...when I saw this place. I went for the twist which is vanilla soft serve and pineapple and it was the perfect way to end our vacation at Disney World. Thanks Pineapple Lanai! read more

Yes. Just yes. Dole whip should be at the top of everyone's to-do list at Disney ;-) Pineapple Lanai is soooo much faster and more convenient than the Magic Kingdom location. Even if you don't stay at the Poly it'd be worth the trip over there just to avoid the crowds at the Magic Kingdom. read more

Went here while on vacation with my family. It IS a great way to get Dole whip without having to pay for a park ticket HOWEVER, be warned, you will have to drive through the Disney parks main parking gate, let them know you're there for JUST THE DOLE WHIP at the Polynesian resort (so you won't have to pay for parking) and then you'll have to go to the resort's guard gate, let them know you're just stopping through for Dole. The guard there said the main gate should've given us a pass or something... But they didn't, so they asked to see my husband's ID. Drive to the left of the guard's gate. Then, pull up to the front of the resort and let those guys know you're just there for the Dole. If you've made it this far, just walk through the main doors to the back and the pick up window is to your left. Don't get me wrong, Dole whip is awesome but it was quite the journey! I strongly encourage the pineapple Dole twist with vanilla soft serve. It didn't melt as fast and the ice cream cut through the tartness of the Dole nicely. read more

Located in Disney's Polynesian Resort. We were checking out the hotel and waiting for Sam's Grotto to open when we saw the take-out window. Same yummy goodness you can get in the Magic Kingdom and at Disneyland. We grabbed a couple of Dole Whips and sat in the Lobby and people watched! There's seating next to the take-out window or you can head out to the beach area as well. Used our Magic Bands to pay! read more
