Love having this spot as a quick treat option when staying at the Polynesian Resort! The options here are limited and certainly not expansive as the spots within MK. You can get either vanilla or pineapple soft serve, you can make it a float with pineapple juice, or you can get a float + rum. I would love if they had POG juice to try here. Everyone always raves about that. They do have a few tables that are covered if you are interested in enjoying your treat there. The tables did get very dirty though and crowded. The line does get really long in the evenings surrounding the fireworks so just be sure to plan ahead if need be!

An amazing bonus when staying at this hotel, having our own dole whip on property! The line can get longer I believe closer to night time but when we got ours, the employee Jacob made my bday memorable with these dole whips! Obviously very delicious and couldn't go wrong with the special dole whip that they had: Mickey Pumpkin Soft serve (pumpkin spice with coconut-haupia with caramel drizzle, graham cracker crumbs and a white chocolate mickey shaped pumpkin on top)! We went when there was no line (around 4:23 pm on 09/02/25) so that was even better!

When you are visiting the Polynesian resort, definitely indulge in a sweet treat here! After having such a big dinner, my mom and I still made room for a pineapple dole whip. This is a walk-up window right outside the back door of the lobby and to the left. Ordering was an easy process. I got the small pineapple dole whip. There were plenty of tables to sit at outside. The sweet treat was delicious. The pineapple flavor has a real pineapple flavor and is not artificial at all. It is mixed with vanilla ice cream that was creamy. Definitely get you one. This is a great location because it is on the way to the pool or back into the hotel. The seating is covered, which is great due to the unpredictability of Florida weather. This spot really makes you feel the Polynesian vibes.

While staying at the Polynesian Resort during our visit at Disney World, my family and I had to stop by the Pineapple Lanai at least one day! This spot offers dole whips at the Polynesian Resort. The line can get lengthy, but it does move pretty quick! At the Pineapple Lanai, you can get traditional soft serve swirls and floats! You can choose a souvenir Tiki Sippers as well! The flavors are pineapple, vanilla or swirl. If you're looking for the Pineapple Lanai, it's outside the great Ceremonial House at the Disney Polynesian Village Resort. Service was quick and the team members were friendly! The prices aren't too bad, between $5-6 depending if you choose a soft serve or a float. The dole whip was delicious! My husband got a pineapple float and he enjoyed it! I'd highly recommend stopping by here if you're visiting the Polynesian or looking to take a quick break from the theme parks!

We came to the Polynesian Resort knowing it was one of the only places that have Dole Whip outside the park (at least off the top of my head). To start, this place is located outside of the resort and there isn't much seating in front of Pineapple Lanai. We got a Pineapple Float to share and the guy at the register offered us the add on of a shot of Rum on the side to which we said, why not. It's about what you expect as far as Dole Whip in pineapple juice but the rum definitely went well with everything. Very big portion so I'd recommend sharing if you just want a pineapple sugar bomb.

Perfect for that Dole Whip craving! There are also special Dole Whip flavors you can't find at the park or other resorts! Super convenient location too! Just go straight into the resort, then go back out the next set of doors and turn left. I was in the mood for some soft serve and ordered a swirl: pineapple and vanilla. From the texture to the refreshing and comforting fruity/cream flavors, I enjoyed every bite! I was also tempted to try the 'Olu Mel float because it's lime flavored, but I couldn't eat that much sugar in one sitting :(. Hope someone enjoys one for me!

During our stay at the Polynesian, we always had to come here at least once a day, sometimes even twice a day, lol. It beats going to the park, and you can just relax while having your dole whip. People who worked there were super nice and even told me about the seasonal offerings they had.

While at the Polynesian Resort Hotel at Disney World we stopped at the Pineapple Lanai and had some treats. The service was great the price reasonable and the treats were great. Will return.

I love dole whip and I love the accessibility to it at the Polynesian resort! It's so refreshing and light and just the perfect treat to combat the Florida heat and humidity. Just make sure you eat it quick because it melts so fast and they fill your cup full so it just runs all over your fingers.

Nice little tucked away kiosk at Disney's Polynesian Resort that serves Dole Whip. It comes in 3 flavours now, not just pineapple: lime, vanilla and pineapple. Rumor is there are also other flavours but that yesterday's offerings. You can also get it with a shot of coconut rum if you're over 21, and make it into a delicious concoction. (I highly recommend this). Stop by, get the kids a pineapple whip and yourselves an adult one to enjoy. You will thank me.

When here, get Dole Whip! There really isn't much else to say about the Pineapple Lanai. Anytime you want a Dole Whip, you can get it here! Swimming in the pool... get a Dole Whip Eating lunch... get a Dole Whip Shopping at the gift shop... get a Dole Whip You get the idea, right?! Service is fast and friendly. Lines and be long but move quickly so be ready to order. It's a walk up window with a few tables outside to sit and enjoy your treat.

Pineapple float

Service was quick! It's not the real dole whip like in hawaii but it is what it is. 3 different option to buy, ended up with the dole whip float.

Last time there the parking lot was only for Polynesian guests so just going for a Dole whip was not allowed. Is this still the policy?

Odd, but I digress. I decided to dine at Steakhouse 71 for breakfast the morning I was going home. This worked out for several reasons as I had never been here before, it was in my hotel, and I didn't purchase park tickets for this day so I needed to grab food elsewhere. Steakhouse 71 is located on the first floor of the Contemporary - just off the check in desks. The restaurant is large - all of the tables are housed in a large room that's decorated mostly in a blue color scheme. I didn't love the aesthetics - they didn't give steakhouse, and the acoustics were loud which gave me the feel I was in a large food hall or cafeteria. The menu contained various breakfast items - nothing too noteworthy except for their pancakes which my server explained are seasonal. I decided on something with protein, so I went with their omelette. This included cheddar, ham, spinach, and peppers along with sides of potatoes and a biscuit. The dish was pretty good - the omelette had good integrity to hold all the ingredients, and the sides were solid. My server explained I could get the seasonal pancakes as an additional side - and since they were pumpkin spice I decided to be festive and get them. These were good, but very over the top - covered in candied nuts and cream cheese icing. Good as a side, but I can't imagine having them as my main. Service was good - everyone was friendly and attentive as I expected from Disney, and my meal came out promptly. Overall, Steakhouse 71 is fine. I'm curious what their dinner offerings are, but I'm not running back.

We had the prix fixe menu and my biggest disappointment is that the potatoes with my mussels starter were raw. Couldn't poke them with my fork and could barely cut them with my knife. They were super apologetic and did want to make things right. I had the seasonal fish (halibut) and while it was an excellent and fresh cut of fish, it was a little too bland. Overall the meal was mediocre. The service was attentive and efficient and the fireworks show was lovely. The ambiance was high energy (lots of special occasion diners but also a lot of "just rolled up out of the park in our crocs and shorts" diners as well). It was a bit too bright inside to be "fancy", but they did dim the lights when the fireworks show started.

From exceptional service to quality dining and a priceless view of Happily Ever After fireworks,…read morethis restaurant has quickly captured our hearts! Huge shoutout to Mario-both times he has gone out of his way to make our night so magical. He showed us where to watch the Electric Water Parade while we waited on a table and he let us sit and watch the fireworks with a perfect view. I'm still smiling 4 hours later. And as we observed, it wasn't just us. He stopped by so many tables to check on the guests. He's part of the reason why we love it here. They go above and beyond to ensure you have the perfect evening. Now on to the food! Brisket and Ricotta Tortelloni Parsnip, Brown Butter, Sultana Raisins The description may have you looking slightly confused, like how does raisins go with brown butter and what is the brisket doing in there.....but trust the process. It works beautifully! The tortelloni tasted like homemade pasta. Perfectly al dente. The brisket and ricotta were savory and paired nicely with the parsnip and subtle sweetness from the raisins. The brown butter brought it all together. It wasn't overly sweet or rich, it was just right, and the perfect size for an appetizer. Lobster Bisque Butter-poached Lobster, Vanilla, Coral Poured table-side, it's a beautiful dish. It's creamy and luscious. There is a decent portion of lobster meat with the slightest hint of vanilla. The consistency is silky. Not too thick or thin. Take the sourdough bread and leave nothing behind. Surf & Turf Filet Mignon, Butter-poached Lobster Tail, Chive Mashed Potatoes, Confit Carrot and Cipollini Onion, Red Onion Jam, Au Poivre Filet was perfectly seared, seasoned, tender, and cooked to my preference. The butter poached lobster is tender. Not overcooked or chewy. The chive mashed potatoes are creamy and cut the richness of the filet, while the Cipollini onion and red onion jam balance with a slight sweetness. And those confit carrots are so good. I could eat a bowl of them. Chefs kiss. Perfect from the first to last bite. Almond-crusted Cheesecake Lambert Cherry Sauce, Chantilly This is what they're known for and it's a pretty dish. The cheesecake is creamy and dense. The cherries were my favorite as they added some pop and tartness to the cheesecake. I wasn't a huge fan of the almonds, but that's more of a texture thing and a "me" problem. I'd prefer a graham cracker crust. Overall it was a good dessert. We will never go to Disney and not make this a top priority for dining. My husband and I always leave with bellies full of high quality food, smiles on our faces, and happy hearts.

Upon entering the restaurant…read moreour wait was a bit long, but I imagine that it is easier to clear larger party tables rather than a party of 2. We did have reservations and the wait was not long at all, I'd say about 10 minutes at most. The staff is very polite and courteous, happy to answer any questions that we had. Now onto the dining experience, I was told to speak to my cast member regarding the food allergies that I have. I did so, and I was told that I would be perfectly fine up until the desert. I will address that later in the review, there is a fun story to tell there. The way the menu works is it is a family style serving method. First off, we were given a large bowl of the declaration salad which consists of mixed greens, apples, cranberries, gorgonzola cheese and tossed in a house made dressing. I usually do not care for 'sweet salads' with fruits mixed into them, but the flavor profile was excellent. A perfect mix of sweet, savory and salty. Next came our entree, the patriot's platter. It consisted of white meat turkey, pot roast, and smoked pork loin for the proteins. I would say that my personal favorite was the pot roast, it was very tender and savory, lots of seasoning and an excellent sauce. However, I will say that the turkey was delicious as well, I usually put gravy on white meat turkey, but the meat was extremely juicy and flavorful, I did not feel the need to do so. The pork was excellent as well, it had a glaze that was very clove forward...which isn't a bad thing, but it has that distinct clove taste. If you don't care for cloves, perhaps discuss that glaze with your cast member. As for sides, they were very plentiful. A hearty serving of macaroni and cheese...this was a standard type...not a heavy or sharp flavor...I'd imagine to make it more "family friendly" which is totally fine, but I suppose I am more used to restaurant mac & cheese having a more herby, sharp flavor rather than a flat cheese flavor. In addition, there was a generous portion of skin-on mashed potatoes, those were seasoned and flavored very well. Not too salty or overbearing, just the right amount of spice. Next there was an herbed stuffing which again, just the right amount of flavor and seasoning for my liking. Last was a good sized portion of salted green beans. They tasted very fresh and cooked just enough to retain the 'snap' that green beans often have. Now moving on to the dessert, this is where my waitress said the "standard menu" would not be to my liking because of my allergy. For those with peanut/tree nut allergies like myself, they offered two options. A sorbet, or vanilla ice cream. I chose the vanilla ice cream. Now I was expecting a nice scoop of ice cream...no matter what they serve all their desserts in cast iron skillet themed dishes for the aesthetic and ambiance to keep things immersive. The rest of my party received the standard skillet with the "oooey gooey toffee cake" and I must've been in the kitchen staff's favor because I received the big mamma jamma giant skillet. I received enough ice cream to feed about 4-5 people. I couldn't possibly have finished all that ice cream myself which I did not. Though the thought and care was absolutely wonderful. The ice cream was absolutely delicious and I was quite happy that the staff was able to accommodate with my allergies. It is extremely rare that I am able to eat dessert in a restaurant. Overall, the ambiance of the restaurant mirrors that of a colonial tavern, restaurant, etc. Hardwood walls, beams, lots of black iron adornments and a very colonial aesthetic. I would happily return as it was a unique dining experience in our trip to Disney.

If you're from the northern US it's a bit strange eating this feast in the Florida heat, but lovely all the same. Cranberries, all the gravy, punch, and grownup drinks for tavern toasting. The only thing missing was outdoor privies (good) and tankard mugs (which we would've totally bought as a souvenir, alas). Our huge platter of meats (impossible meatloaf and other veggie based are the alternatives) had us stuffed. Our waiter kindly offered to bring more, but we held out for the very twenty-first century Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. No need for pumpkin pies after that! If you're one of the lucky few who ever get to go to Disney World, a hearty, almost-Thanksgiving style meal is a great way to end the trip, and slightly more adult than dining in Fantasyland.

Must be the same guy that made the DMV how it is. The theming is cool inside, that is the best aspect of this place. The vibes are immaculate. This is a place a proper sickly Victorian-era child ghost could haunt. You just can't say that about many spots in Orlando. The banana bread cookie I was most excited about was doughy, overly salted to an extreme, and had way too many walnuts. The girl at the register warned me it had walnuts and we discussed how walnutty this thang was. They really should call this the walnut cookie. The walnut is basically the whole gat dang cookie, you can't taste banana nor bread. Calling it a banana bread cookie is just misleading. The thai banana cookie from Summer House around the corner in Springs is not all it is cracked up to be either, but that one certainly is not 99% walnut by weight like this one. The cookies and cream Oreo slice was far better, which was mildly concerning that a cookie shoppe traditionally known for their "viral" cookies had failed so bad at cookies it was actually their CAKE that was the thing worth writing home about my experience. It is such a viral spot everyone is coming here for the experience to see a spot that a proper sickly Victorian-era child ghost could haunt. But smart customers get the cake, not the cookies. When you get the cake slice, verify that you have plastic cutlery and napkin before leaving the store, otherwise you are going to need to Kirby-inhale it.
