Our tasting reservation was at 10:15, we arrived a little early, and were seated right away on the patio. It's a very calm and welcoming space. Our host, Enrique, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The wine, of course, is delicious. The tasting includes a nice variety. We had a nice view of the birdbath/fountain, which added even more to our experience. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a picture with the birds bathing.
We visited Pine Ridge Vineyards during California Napa Neighbor Month and had a wonderful experience, taking advantage of their complimentary estate tasting for two. We were seated tucked away from other guests in a cozy, semi-private cave setting, which made the tasting feel intimate and relaxed. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable, sharing great insights about the winery, the Stags Leap District, and the wines without ever feeling rushed. The cheese platter was a lovely addition and paired nicely with the tasting. Napa Neighbor Month also included 10% off wine purchases, so we happily brought home our favorites: the Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon and the limited-production Cabernet Franc. Between the beautiful setting, thoughtful hospitality, and excellent wines, Pine Ridge Vineyards is absolutely worth a visit.
A beautiful winery and fine wine. Each visit is always a pleasant experience from the garden area to the cave experience. The staff are professional and knowledge about the tasting experience and what you're tasting. A few times we have had our tasting outside in the garden patio area and it was nice. You have a view of the grapes under shaded trees. The tastings inside are just as nice. They have treat bags you can give to your fur baby- dog friendly winery! Overall a great winery and happy members.
I will be back. This was my favorite wine tour and winery of my trip to Napa. It came highly recommended from my coworker who is a part of their wine club. It is beautiful outside on the patio with the green hills and vineyards surrounding you. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I ended up solo on the group tour. The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and not overly salesman or talking so much that you could not take in the experience around you. They end in the cave and give you this whole seating area with some light snacks to do your tasting. While this definitely would have been more fun with my friend, it was also enjoyable by myself. I ended up buying 3 bottles but wished I had bought more. I was so so close to joining the wine club but maybe next time when I bring my husband there because we will definitely be adding this place to our agenda.

My father in law and husband did not do a tasting but they still gave them some tastings, which was so nice. They had excellent wine!! My favorite of our whole trip in Napa.
My friend and I visited Pine Ridge Vineyards as part of a birthday trip for her, and we had a reservation for 3:30pm. It seems they close at 4:30pm, so I'm not too sure why they have reservation slots for 3:30pm - we felt pretty rushed throughout the tasting, and towards the end we were told that the wines for tasting would be taken away soon. Our host was friendly but seemed a little spread thing covering 4+ tables - he mentioned he was covering both tables inside and outside. We didn't learn much about the wines because of this, but unfortunately none of them really stood out to us and we didn't end up take anything home with us. The grounds do have a really interesting demonstration vineyard that showcases different ways that vines are grown and we did take a walk through the vines and enjoyed the views a little before leaving which made up for the brisk and overall unmemorable tasting.
TripAdvisor rates Pine Ridge as a perfect 5.0 and it is well deserved. The grounds are picturesque, the greeting is genuine, and the guidance through tasting is without peer. Steve was our guide through our tasting. While overall passionate knowledge is expected in Napa, the level of personal connection and intimate connection Steve establish left us at ease and we enjoyed the experience as a relaxing and perfect start to our Napa journey. PS - the Epitome is deserving of its name.

Their educator Steve is a chemical engineer, and the doctors very much appreciated his detail approach to describing the wines and the history of the winery ! Having a great experience in the Napa Valley requires not only the venue, but the staff and the educators to all come together to create a memorable time ! All great things start wine! Lovely grounds, from the outdoor gardens to the man made caverns. We took both a wine tour & did a wine tasting; just fabulous! Our guide & wine pourer knew the in's & out's of her place of employment; from the grapes, to the various barrels, down to the wood of the barrels. She was stellar & on point. There was wine tasting as we toured the caverns & then once we sat down we tasted more scrumptious wines. Oh and there charcuterie boards: from the aged Gouda cheese, to the fresh dried cranberries, apricots, more cheese & don't forget the crackers. Excellence all around. Service was on point, charming, courteous & personnel.

We had a lovely cave tour here on a Sunday morning. We made reservations well in advance as I saw amazing reviews for Pine Ridge online. I was also curious to explore the caves and heard Pine Ridge was the place to do so. What I heard was absolutely correct! Our tour guide Nancy was fabulous and led us through the caves and working areas to learn more about the wine aging process while sampling a few wines along the way. We visited at the end of the grape harvest season so it was interesting to see everyone at work and learn more about the process of winemaking. The caves are incredible and Pine Ridge has done an incredible job creating a beautiful tasting area deep inside. Nancy led us through the rest of our tasting in their tasting lounge along with some delicious cheeses, crackers and other items on our charcuterie plate. The combination of the cheese with the delicious cabs was lovely and we enjoyed learning more about the regions throughout Napa valley where the grapes originated. All in all a wonderful tour experience, unique and definitely worth checking out! read more

Pine Ridge wines are absolutely amazing! From the beautiful ground and crazy cool caves where they have tastings, to John our wine tour guide he was so informative and so detailed I can't tell you how much I appreciated him. We so enjoy discussing one of my favorite subjects wine. I tasted what I might say is one of theeee best Reds I may have ever had ever! FORTIS it was pure heaven! This winery is consistently our favorite winery in Napa Valley. Are there better ones? Maybe, but we have found something that we really like and we continue to come back. We joined their wine club about 15 years ago, and then experience the excitement of getting winds every three months or so. When we come out to Napa, we always make a point to do a tasting here. This year we did it with some friends of ours, so all four of us got to enjoy it. Our hostess was fantastic and knowledgeable, and although we did not buy any wines, because we already have them shipped to our house, we have a fantastic experience. There are certainly much bigger wineries in the Napa Valley, but this one is our favorite! read more

My dad recommended this vineyard and it was my favorite one from my trip. All of the wines on the tasting list were very good, even the Chardonnay and the got even better from there. I will visit this place for sure if I make it back to Napa again. They had a beautiful and inviting tasting room with cool grape inspired mid-century modern chandeliers. The host was very personable as were all of the people working there. The outdoor seating was also beautiful with a perfect view of the vineyards beyond. read more

We also did not think the grounds were as pretty as the website suggested. A little further than Napa but really worth the extra drive. We had to get reservations here a month ahead of time and we didn't even get a great time (11:15am). The backdrop and vineyard was beautiful. Nestled up against the hill and forest, you won't find better scenery. They also have this really cool cave for the wine barrels. Not even sure if they're being used but it makes for great pictures. The server was really knowledgeable not just about wine but the actual oak from the barrels. First stop on a very fast paced weekend. Typical Napa classic vineyard visit. Standard tasting. I will say that if you are a Cabernet lover- the Napa Valley Cab offered at $60 a bottle or $48 club price is a STEAL. A club membership for this alone is a great choice. read more
Wow! Thus was so much fun and so interesting. And we don't even drink! I read in another review that Caroline was not a good guide, well, we had her and she was fantastic, knowledgeable and took wonderful care of us. We had a group of about 40 and had reserved the winery for the evening. They greeted us with 2 kinds of wine as we got off the bus, as mentioned, I don't drink and was disappointed that they did not offer grape juice, but they did give us water. Carolyn took us on an educational tour showing how the grapes are grown and turned into wine. We then went in the caves "cellars" where we had our spectacular dinner!1. From beginning to end, the staff were attentive, and our docent Jon was entertaining and fantastic! The cave tasting for "Savor Pine Ridge" food + wine pairing was outstanding. Chef Susan made all the gourmet bites with with love, from the panna cotta to smoked duck breast - nom, nom, nom! My favorite wine was their flagship Fortis, and at $225 a bottle (yikes) who wouldn't? If you're in the mood to splurge a little, WINE not! For all you Cab Sauv lovers, this is the place, highly recommended! They specialize in high quality cab sauv's from their single vineyards. One can taste the excellence; we're in Cab country aka Stags Leap District! We couldn't have asked for better weather. Harvest season is truly the best season to visit Napa Valley Wine Country! Our experience at Pine Ridge Vineyards on 5/13/2021 was amazing. We were seated at one of the tables outdoors in their front entrance area fairly quick (& with a reservation). The staff are super friendly and our wine professional (?) was very informative and taught us two newbies about wine! I believe his name is Christopher?! It was a very personable and quaint experience--totally recommend for first timers! They have an estate tasting menu that consists of one Chardonnay and four Cabernet Sauvignons. We also had a couple glasses of their bubbly, Sparkling Chenin Blanc+Viognier, and a taste of their Cab Franc--the king of Cabs. We ... went home with a bottle of bubbly and two bottles of cab... . That alone should about explain how much we enjoyed our time haha. read more

We had such a wonderful experience at Pine Ridge Vinyards this weekend. We booked the Cellar 47 tour, and it was truly an exclusive experience. Our host Christopher was fantastic as well, funny, approachable but also very knowledgeable. He took us through the cellars while we enjoyed the Carneros Chardonnay, and explained the different types of barrels to us. We then entered the tasting room in the cellar which was beautifully prepared. We tasted 4 Cabs, and we honestly enjoyed each one of them. The 2018 Carneros Cab and the 2018 Stags Leap were our favorites. We decided to join the membership club so we we will definitely be back. read more
Wonderful location in the middle of two hills of vineyards. Outdoor tasting was perfect. Inside tour of the caves and wine making facilities was cool. So many caves to wonder. Our host Sophia was so wonderful and welcoming to me, my father and my dog. I love a winery that is dog friendly. I wish the tasting could have been outside as the weather was so lovely and the couch area felt a bit stuffy but we had a lovely time. They make nice Cabernet and I highly recommend their Stags Leap District Cab. read more
