I have been a member for close to A decade and am never disappointed in the quality of wine they produce but most important their attention and dedication to five star hospitality. Napa Valley is bursting with quality wine, that's no secret. But what is difficult to find and exactly what I'm looking for is an adventure and experience. A place where I am remembered and appreciated for my patronage. I'm looking for a quid pro quo relationship and Jarvis is exactly that. The quality of wine and hospitality is memorable. It's the perfect place to take new and returning friends of all levels in wine experience. As a member or guest you are received with smiles and gratitude. This Friday we took our young generation friends to start their Napa Wine Journey in a positive direction. We were greeted by David who is such a personable guide and makes learning about wine and the history of Jarvis an adventure. Not only does he take us into the history and production of Jarvis wine he makes it relatable to your interests and personal wine journey. We were paired in a tour with two out of state couples. David enabled us to mesh and create an immediate friendship based on the love of wine. In sort of a Wine Cheers way. While in the Founders Room, which is my favorite tasting area, we toasted to Founder, owner, William Jarvis who Recently Passed. His wife Leticia and son Will carrying on the torch for what they built together in 1990. I spoke about my respect for what he created and the memories he made possible for everyone that passes through the cave and what the Jarvis will continue in his memory. Along the tour we ran across Wine Maker Scott Morrison who takes time to say hi and ask how you're enjoying the tour and new offerings. I also had the pleasure in meeting Sil Coccia Vice President of Sales and Hospitality. He made the time to seek me out and introduce himself. We talked about what it meant to be a member and how Jarvis not only has the passion for producing quality wines but how they appreciate their members and guests and are hospitality focused. I am a partial member and highly recommend visiting Jarvis and experiencing what they have to offer. Not only for their well curated, estate only, cross section flavor profile wines but come meet the Jarvis Family. What I also appreciate is there is never pressure to join their wine club or buy wine. You are presented with the information, taste their offerings and the rest is up to you. In my opinion the wine and experience sell itself. Bravo Jarvis well done. David definitely represents you well. Until next time

Unreal. Truly nothing like it. I love, love, love Jarvis. What an incredibly beautiful place to tour, learn and try some outstanding wines. Our tour guide was hilarious with a dry sense of humor, and he kept us guessing the whole time. We had a party of 8, all with very different palettes, and yet we all had a favorite and none of us left wanting. We got to try quite a few different wines, and loved the pairings with the cheese, crackers and dried cherries. Breathtaking views - I've never seen anything like this... I understand why my parents wanted to come back a second time to experience it again. Small winery, good business, nice people, delicious wines - what more could you want? Check out the photos and you'll be ready to book an experience for yourself.

Unlike any winery tour and tasting I've done! We thoroughly enjoyed our group experience here. Everyone was professional from start to finish. We got nice tour of the underground facilities and a great tasting of their wines. The selection was quite nice and we even got to taste a little extra of a special bottle! The facility is beautiful and so unique to be underground.

Very knowledgeable tour guide and wonderful tasting. The wines selected were unique and served with goat cheese, brie, nuts and crackers in a private room. The space is soothing and intriguing, with artful touches and unique rooms with crystal collections and light decorations on the ceiling. Outdoors there is a small lake which was very peaceful. It might be tricky driving or to find but worthy the adventure.

One of my favorite wineries I've been to in Napa. Not only does the winery exude elegance, the wines are not overly sweet and well rounded. I quite enjoyed selection that I had to purchase a case. The tour was enlightening and our tour guide was well versed in the process of how the wines were made and was able to tell us a lot of the history of the place. The caves were breath taking and I absolutely adored the crystal room. Make sure you make a reservation since it is by appointment only. Definitely a must go destination if you are in Napa!

This winery and property are a bit off the beaten path but well worth the time to visit. Unique and stunning in so many ways...not just another cave. Wines are terrific and offer a nice selection among varietals. Our host Cora was outstanding and despite harvest still being in full swing, winemaker Scott Morrison took time to chat as we passed him on the tour. The space is amazing and I am not going to give away any highlights. Go and check it out for yourself!

This is my first wine experience. We signed up for the site tour and wine tasting. This place didn't disappoint. My friends and I went to another winery but by far this is the best wine experience I have ever had and my friends also agrees with me. The tour was very informative. Briton was our lovely tour guide. He was very knowledgeable regarding the history of Jarvis and wine. He was so kind to share other wineries around the area. They were about 7to of us in our group and we were all asking where else can be have a winery experience. He grew up and has lived in the Napa for awhile hence he seems the right person to ask for recommendations for other wineries and good restaurants to eat at. Jarvis is unique because it is a cave. We had a unique experience. Jarvis has a huge room that store their barrels. On the ceiling they had fiber optic lighting. They have this massive door the automatically open by a push of a button. I suggest this experience should be captured on a video. A picture would not justify this picture. I also suggest to video tape at the part where your tour guide take you at the water fall. This is a picturesque moment and this should also be captured by photos. We had 6 different wine tasting plus two extra ones that was unexpected. There was only one white wine and the rest were red wines. 1. 2020 Finch Hollow Chardonnay. Aged 12 months in New French burgundy oak, selling for $175 / 750ml 2. 2019 Tempranillo. Aged 12 months in French oak $110 /750ml 3. 2018 Merlot. Aged 21 months in New Futaie French oak, $190 / 750 ml 4. 2018 Carbanet Sauvignon. Aged 27 months in New Haute French Futaie French oaks, $260, 750 ml 5. 2018 Lake William, $325, 750 ml 6. 2013 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, $400 / 750 ml

If you are in Napa Valley, this is the place you NEED to visit. I went to a few wineries and this is by far the most interesting one. Not only that, my tour-guide gave me the best experience ever. Their tours are reasonably priced, although they are on the higher-end when compared to other wineries. But what you pay for becomes apparent when you enter their lot. A beautiful, nature-filled road leads you to their gates that resemble something grand. They offer outside parking right before you reach the doors and you walk a short distance to enter their cave; which is where the tour begins. Jonathan greeted me as soon as I walked in and let me know that the tour I booked, which normally consists of a few people, would be private since I booked at an unpopular time. Obviously, I was excited! He led me in and made sure I was well taken care of. I never knew someone could know this much about one particular topic, but Jonathan was well-versed. He taught me everything from how they made their wine, to how the history of this cave was incorporated into the business model. It was very nice to have someone with that much passion show me around. Compared to other places, this was the most informative wine tour as well. At the end of our tour, I was given a notepad and pen to take notes on, while I was presented with different types of wine, nuts, and cheese and was given a quick pairing lesson on it all. Listen, I know I sound way too excited writing this review, but please try it out.. you'll understand why.

If you Ever have the opportunity to Jarvis...make sure you have Isaiah as your guide. He was absolutely amazing and made our tasting the best experience. Definitely a must do in Napa!

If you are looking for a unique experience, Jarvis Estate deli era! The high-end wines are coupled with a first class tasting experience and tour of the winery--all underground! The wines are NOT cheap (each bottle is over $200), so keep this in mind when deciding whether to visit. We're sure to come again when we're in Napa.

Nick struck that ideal balance of being personable and entertaining while still maintaining a consistently high level of professionalism throughout the trip. What really stands out is his deep knowledge of the region. Nick didn't just know the wineries -- he knew the stories, the people, and the hidden gems that make Napa special. His longstanding relationships with many of the vineyards opened doors for us, giving our tastings a level of warmth and hospitality that you don't always get as a casual visitor. We picked several of the wineries we wanted to revisit (Nick had recommended them on a prior trip) but called an audible the night before to change out one of the stops and he was able to pick out and arrange a great tasting at Bottuello which was the perfect spot for an intimate tasting of unique wines with the owners. We never would have found such a jewel on our own! And of course, the ride itself was incredibly comfortable. The vehicle was clean, spacious, smooth, and stocked with everything we might need -- making the time between wineries just as enjoyable as the tastings. Overall, Nick made our Napa visit effortless and unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, knowledgeable, and truly professional guide through wine country. Cheers!

Hands Down the Best Driver in Napa Valley!…read more I discovered George on Yelp, and after comparing other Napa car services--many quoting well over $1,000 for wine tours--it's clear why his customers rave about him. His reviews truly say it all! There were plenty of reasons we chose George over the rest. From our very first contact, George was incredibly responsive and communicative. I had a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids) for my husband's 40th birthday celebration and needed a vehicle that could securely accommodate a car seat with a latch system--his car was absolutely perfect. He arrived right on time, greeted us warmly, and was super easy to talk to. Throughout the day, George consistently arrived within minutes at each of our destinations. He didn't just drop us off--he guided us to the exact entrances and exits of every winery, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. On top of that, he shared insightful feedback about why each winery is special, adding a whole new level of appreciation to our tour. Another bonus, he provided water in an iced cooler and white glove door service! What really stood out was George's impressive local knowledge. Without even needing navigation, he expertly drove us from Petaluma to Napa while sharing fascinating stories and history about the wineries, estates, and the region itself. If you want a professional, friendly, affordable, and knowledgeable driver for your Napa experience, George is your guy! Highly recommend and would easily book him for our next trip!

We started our experience with commemorative Legacy pins which was a really nice touch as soon as we sat down there was champagne waiting for us at our table and the staff throughout the entire journey was friendly attentive. The train itself is beautiful and the ride through Napa Valley was fabulous. We started the morning with the Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict while enjoying wine and the scenery outside the windows. Later my girlfriend ordered the Cracked Mustard Cider Glazed Salmon and I had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin and both dishes were incredible. Everything tasted fresh high quality and beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall experience. One of my favorite parts of the entire experience was visiting the wineries throughout the journey. Each stop gave us time to explore relax enjoy tastings and really take in the atmosphere Napa Valley is known for. We were also able to shop around for little gifts and even brought home a bottle of wine from one of the wineries which made the experience even more memorable. I brought my drone with me and was able to capture some incredible videos and photos of the vineyards and scenery which honestly made the experience feel even more unreal. Throughout the ride we also enjoyed wine tastings coffee pairings and small bites including the Chef's Cheese Course with fresh bread cheeses olives and local honey which paired perfectly together. The standout moment for me was honestly dessert. My girlfriend got the chocolate brownie dessert and it seriously melted in your mouth. I had the sherbet assortment which was super refreshing and the perfect way to finish such an amazing meal. I also want to give a shoutout to Carlos for being an amazing host and server throughout the experience. Even with a large group onboard he stayed attentive friendly and made sure every guest felt taken care of from start to finish. The entire six-hour experience flew by and every part of it felt well thought out. Between the food wine winery stops scenery and hospitality this is absolutely something I would recommend to anyone visiting Napa Valley.

The rail follows alongside the highway so views were not necessarily 'outstanding' because I was on the train. I do not need to ride this train to see these views. I did not have to drive, that brings the rating up, but there are MANY ways to not drive in Napa. It was a little rickety, but acceptable. The food, 2/5 stars, substandard for the cost. Portions were small (half a piece of bacon, 1 small egg for a Benedict, etc.) and taste was middle of the road. The service/staff 4/5. Most everyone was very hospitable and did their job well. However, it did feel as if we were 'just another group'. Everything is very script and not especially personalized. For example, I'm on a wine train and no one asked my wine preference. Which brings me to the wine we tasted on the train 1/5. I expected a higher quality of tastings. In addition, offer a choice of flight, white or red or a mix of both. Or, hear me out...offer wine pairings for each course (included with my ticket, not for extra cost). Stopping at the sign and enjoying the tasting in the open car was a wonderful choice, wine selection is greatly lacking and to be honest, a great disappointment. Overall, I enjoyed my time, but this was not necessarily due to being on the Napa train specifically, it was because I was on vacation in Napa. I could see the business cutting costs in almost every aspect and that is unfair because I am paying a premium cost of approx. $100/h. And for some of that time, I'm at the winery and not even on the train. Which brings me to the end of my rating, for the stops 2.9/5. The stops felt rushed, especially our first stop. They are about an hour each, but this includes disembark and reembark times. I wanted a little more time at each winery to make a purchase or walk the grounds. I will not be recommending this particular experience, I believe many improvements can be made. Lastly, I booked this experience due to several social media content creators experience. These creators are getting their experiences paid for. Be sure to read ratings from those of us not being sponsored.
