Ribeye, fries, vegetables..sautéed mushrooms & spicy prawns (not shown) cooked perfectly!

Had dinner there for the first time after years of driving past it.. Upon entering the wood interior and calm ambiance. Wait was not long to be seated. Food was ordered and the wait was like 20 mins. Nice and quiet to where a decent conversation can be had. Food was served very hot/warm. Wait staff was awsum and very friendly Definitely a place i am going to visit again

Special: orzo pasta, garbanzo bean, and salmon salad.

We had dinner at Pine Lodge tonight and it was incredible. The location is beautiful and never disappoints. But the food stole the show tonight. Irelee, the head chef, outdid herself. I had the special orzo pasta, garbanzo bean, and salmon salad and it was fantastic. The mac and cheese was to die for. My husband had the special pita appetizer but I didn't get a picture of it. We had friends we ran into there that had the rib eye and the cod and they said both were delicious. The restaurant was busy, but the staff worked hard and were super helpful and pleasant all night. We will definitely be back!!

In reading reviews from others, one needs to know the style and intent of the place. People looking for sophisticated, fancy meal will be disappointed. People looking for a family style meal, with the warm and engaging people, with honest, real, good food, will be thrilled. We were there for a late lunch. Our server was extremely kind and explained the menu, process, and local favorites The Pico Punch had a touch of Vicks 44, but that's exactly what it should taste like. The quantities are huge. Cabbage soup broth was delicious. Italian bread would be better if warmed, but still good. The salad was robustly tossed and the dressing had a nice touch of garlic. The steak sandwich was tender and had an excellent marinade/flavor. Fries: very greasy and not their finest moment. We have family in Iowa and this all felt similar: Midwest friendliness, warmth, and good food. We were leaving at 445 and the line had grown to 20 for dinner! Appeared to be locals/regulars. As another noted, yes, there are brothels just down the street. Hey, it adds to the local charm!

I was served a dinner salad, broccoli raab and the most amazing pancetta macaroni and cheese, YUM! The steak was the largest piece of meat EVER! I could only eat half. All for 42$ My husband had the seared tuna on a bed of pasta with lobster sauce. His meal was also cooked correctly and seasoned and flavored. Our server was attentive and answered questions regarding the food and beverages, we had a bottle of Chianti most excellent. The atmosphere was fancy enough to feel Special but not pretentious. We did not have reservations and even though the place appeared to be full, we were seated right away. I highly recommend a meal from Luciano's.

May 2026 Elko, N…read more Hmmmmm . . . 3.0 stars. Here is why. Arrived a little after 5 pm on a Friday. Two tables were already sitting. The hostess sat us in a separate room from the main dining room. It was hit brightly by the sun and felt like a second thought of leftover dining. Asked if we could sit in main dining room and she obliged. We asked about the menu and took time to review it. After some time we ordered. My husband had the chicken Alfredo and I ordered the PASTA MILANO which is described as: Chicken, Tomatoes, Mushrooms in a Roasted Garlic Cream Sauce over Penne Pasta. Sounds good right? It could have been good. But it was not. First of all, I never got chicken in the dish. The mushrooms were diced and very few in the dish. The only thing they got right was the tomatoes. I called the waitress over and told her that my dish had no chicken in it. She said well do you want some? I smiled and said well that's what the dish was supposed to come with. So I waited. Then I decided to go ahead and start eating my food because seven minutes went by and I still have no chicken. When the dish was originally served,, I asked the waitress for Parmesan cheese. She said we don't have Parmesan cheese, but we have black pepper. Huh???? of course you have Parmesan cheese. I have it on my Caesar salad. I really don't think she knew what Parmesan cheese was. I just shrugged my shoulders and took a bite of my food. Again, great concept. But the food had NO flavor. I added salt and pepper. Still nothing. I took the balsamic vinegar that was on the table and added it to the dish. There, I finally had flavor in my meal. But still no chicken. Finally, another waitress brings out a plate of squiggly worm like meat. She said, did somebody order chicken at this table? I was disgusted. First of all, it was not pleasant to see it look like that. Also, you should've offered to remake my meal, or at least take it back and mix it with the chicken. But to make me wait until my dishes is half gone and then bring over a plate of chicken is a poor decision. The chicken fettuccine had a good flavor. But the chicken was tough. Hard to chew. Not good flavor. I ordered a n/a Heineken. She brought it in a glass to the table. It was already poured so I don't know if I truly got what I ordered. Also the glass was too large for the amount of beer that was in it. Makes it look like it was half a drink. The waitress was kind, but we did not see much of her. She never offered to refill our bread basket. According to the menu, you get two baskets of bread and then if you want more you have to pay. We only got one basket of bread and never offered anymore. I was looking forward to some good pasta, and this restaurant did not deliver. Very disappointed in the service, and most definitely the food. The waitress took five dollars off of our meal, but she never explained why she did it or why she decided to take that amount of money. She never apologized for my dish, not having any protein, she never apologized for any thing. Management needs to teach staff that they can take ownership of the situation. It is OK to say you are sorry that the chicken was not put in your dish. Let's see what we can do to make it right. That would have gone so far. Instead, it left my attitude about this place as tough as the chicken in the fettuccine was.

Elko, NV May 2026…read more We entered the restaurant and the hostess told us to seat ourselves. It is a very uninviting dining room. Concrete floors and about 15 tables. There are many framed pictures along the wall, and some baskets hung as well. The restaurant and bathroom are exceptionally clean. The waitress is very kind and full of personality. Told her I had some food allergies and she seemed to know the menu very well and told me what to stay clear of. I ordered the SHISH TAWOOK and my husband ordered the chicken rolls. After 15 minutes, they came back to the table to tell us that they were out of chicken rolls. So he ordered the same thing as me. The food came out on a wooden board similar to a charcuterie board. There were six small pieces of chicken, and the sides of hummus, rice, and tabbouleh . I ordered a side of pita as well. The chicken was flavored perfectly. However, the chicken was overcooked and dry. The rest of the plate was delicious. The pita was very good as well. We both really enjoyed this meal. The only thing that brings my score down was the overcooked chicken. Otherwise it would have been perfect. This place gets 4.7 stars. I would definitely come back

I heard the food was pretty good here and a decent deal. I go in with one co worker whose driving me around Elko. It's not really too smokey in here, so that's a good thing, but it's not a crowded Saturday night either with all kinds of drinking and smoking at the slots going on. We get seated at a nice table and I go over the menu. They have a prime rib special here for $17.99 and it's available everyday from 11 am! Most of these casino restaurants that have prime rib, only have that on Fri and Sat after like 4 pm. I passed this time, but what I did see was the Chicken Fried Steak! It's supposed to be a 10 oz. beef patty, breaded and deep fried served with country gravy, hashbrowns and toast, and then even THREE eggs, for just $13, that's a deal. In the Bay Area where I was just working, they don't even serve Chicken Fried Steak ..... it's like truck driver food I guess. My friend had this Cali Omelet ... yeah it was sort of breakfast time for us. That was the more healthy option with veggies and no meat, just the opposite of what I ordered! The food came out in short time and look fab! I ordered my Chicken Fried Steak on a separate plat with gravy on the side, so I didn't get gravy all mushed up with my eggs and potatoes. Holy moly, that was a lot of food! Super tasty, I just ate half and took the rest to go, gave it to my friend since I flying back out soon and I don't think the airline would appreciate me bring Chicken fried steak on the plane to eat! The omelet looked better than I thought it was gonna for the price. Tons of avocado on top and fluffy hashbrowns! 5 stars for the food here!

Once seated, our experience was a mix of highs and "almosts." - Appetizer: We started with the fried pickles -- crisp, flavorful, and addictive -- though a seasoned dipping sauce would have taken them to the next level. - Entrées: Antonio ordered the prime rib, advertised at 12 oz, but it appeared a bit smaller than expected. Portion sizes for his sides, however, were generous and satisfying. I went with the penne alla vodka but received penne with marinara instead. While the garlic bread was decent, I missed the creamy, robust vodka sauce that was promised. - Service: A little on the slow side, though staff were polite once they arrived at the table. Overall, the food was decent, but not quite on target. We're planning to give them another try for breakfast -- here's hoping that meal hits closer to the mark.

We were told no reservations were needed. My wife, two of her friends, and I came in, ordered drinks, and had an exceptional meal. The food quality was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We were enjoying ourselves, having conversation after dinner, and had spent around $300 on the meal. Then, unexpectedly, someone other than our great waitress came to the table and told us we needed to leave because there was a reservation for our table at 7:30. This was shocking and incredibly awkward since there were several open tables including the one next to us that was the exact same size as ours. We were not informed of any time limit when seated, and we had been explicitly told earlier that reservations were not required. Being asked to leave after spending that much money--while still sitting and talking--felt rude and unprofessional. What made it worse: we drove by about 30 minutes later (around 8:00 PM), and the table was empty. No one was seated there. Great food does not excuse poor hospitality. If there are time limits or reservations, customers need to be told up front, not pressured out mid-evening after a premium-priced meal. This experience completely overshadowed what would have otherwise been a great night. Unfortunately, because of how this was handled, we won't be returning.

I paid the tab totaling $118 directly to the owner Tarah and left a $10 tip at that time. As I walked from the register toward the table, the owner shared the tip amount with another employee Nicole Stanton who was standing at the bar. That employee--then loudly yelled across the restaurant that if I was "going to tip that shitty," I should "take my kids with me." As I exited--loud to all patrons--she continued stating that she "knows I make enough money to tip better," while pointing toward my children and continuing to make disparaging remarks. The remainder of our group had offered to leave a cash tip on the table ($20 was on the table). The order itself was simple and not excessive. The $10 tip left at the register on my debit card was intended to be in addition to the cash tip from the group. Publicly disclosing a gratuity amount, using profane language, making comments regarding a customer's perceived income, and directing remarks toward or about my children in a public setting is unprofessional and unacceptable. Due to the conduct of the staff member, I instructed them not to leave the additional cash tip and to leave the restaurant.
