This food at this hole in the wall was both affordable and delicious. I had the green chili Plato which came with refried and corn tortillas. The steak was a little chewy but it was very flavorful and an ample portion. They didn't skimp on anything there was a pile of steak, a generous portion of melted cheese and green chili. The food was amazing--the burrito was packed with flavor and tasted so good. Being from San Diego, it definitely reminded me of home, which I loved. There's a good amount of seating inside, along with a beautiful mural on the wall depicting Mexican culture that really adds to the atmosphere. The workers were super friendly and helpful with suggestions, and you can tell there's a strong, hardworking team in the kitchen as well as up front taking orders. We ordered tacos and burrito on Uber eats. They prepared very fast, the staff was kind and provided us plate to get the onion, lemon, and salad to go. They have a variety of sauces and some of them are really spicy but good with dishes. Meats on tacos are generous, I liked pastor, it's perfect charred. Asada and lengua are good too, not too oily. Stopped in here for a Sunday lunch after errands - reminds me of Backyard Taco: street tacos with a salsa bar full of a large variety. I had the birria, vampira, and green chile taco, and all were excellent. Some of the meat had some gristle, but that's to be expected with the al carbon (meat over charcoal) method - you want some fat in the meat. While unsuspecting, we walked in and staff was super awesome in providing recommendations and thoughts as we went on a taco exploration in the valley. A delicious & affordable option for families! My family and I recently visited this location and we loved it. Everything was cooked perfectly, we didn't have any issues and we thought the salad bar with all of the condiments is a great idea. Small little hole in the wall restaurant. The service is quick and to the point. The food comes up quickly. They have a nice salsa bar to choose from. The burritos are really good, I usually get the carne asada and tripa burrito. The mash potatoes plate with carne asada and pastor on top is also really good. We found this place on The Googles because it's closer than our usual Taco Tuesday place and we were pressed for time. I'm so glad we did; this is our new Tuesday location. The food is amazing. You can taste the pineapple in the Al Pastor which, in my experience, is a rarity. The green-chili tacos are just as fantastic. I love that they have pico on the salsa bar; also a rarity.
