The restaurant is clean and has plenty of random wall decor. We stopped in for lunch on the way hime from a wknd trip... we ordered chicken fried steak, 1/2lb boiled shrimp and onion rings. The onion rings were very good. Crispy, well seasoned and good portion size. The chicken fried steak was served extremely hot and smothered in white gravy. The serving was hefty, actually enough for 2 to enjoy. The boiled shrimp was "ok". Nothing over the top or exceptional. The melted butter tastes like what you get on your popcorn at a movie theater. Don't be in a rush because it takes a good while to get your food. The service is friendly. The ducks, fish & turtles are a nice distraction. 50¢ in the machine to get some pellets to feed them all. Stop in if you want a good helping of food and aren't in any hurry.

I still enjoy this place as I previously posted. It has been the best place I've had fried fish in all of El Campo. And I definitely love any place that offers sweet potato fries.

Oh my gosh, Pinchers was the best seafood I have ever had in my life. The shrimp were HUGE and the fried cod was so thick and fresh. We got the combo platter with coconut shrimp and buffalo shrimp it came with tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, sweet chili sauce and a ranch our sides were French fries and fried okra. Everything was cooked to perfection, everyone at the table loved their meal and our server Cameron was very nice. We went on Saturday night in November at around 6 o'clock and had no problem getting a table. (They do say it gets crowded during crawfish season and I will 1000% being going back for it).

Saw a sign on the highway so I looked this up on Yelp. After seeing the good reviews, we decided to come here for lunch. The restaurant is a short drive from the highway. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Plus they have ducks that the kids can feed for 50 cents. Near the duck area there are settings to swing on. The menu has a good amount of variety for both fish lovers and fish haters. We started off with an order of hush puppies. They were very good with a little bit of heat. The kid and I liked them, hubs not so much. He prefers them to be sweet. For lunch I got a salad with blackened tuna on top. You could also get it with chicken or mahi. It was a good salad with a big piece of tuna. The tuna was great! The only thing I would do different is put it in a big bowl. The plate it was served on was too small which made it difficult to eat without losing some of the food off the plate. Hubs got the fish and chips which I tasted and it was very good. The kid got chicken fingers which looked really good. This is a good place to stop for food. I'd definitely recommend it and would eat here again.

This a nice spot off 59 by El Campo. We didn't eat much just fried pickles coleslaw and the hurricane drink (so good). My daughter had the gumbo and she is a picky eater. She said it was good. I don't eat gumbo outside of Louisiana or prepared by Louisianan's for fear of being disappointed, lol. We were a little annoyed with the flies but we will def return!

Highly recommend!! Super cool atmosphere, you can dine inside or outside next to the little lake area. You can even pay 50 cents to feed the fish!! The service was great, really relaxed environment. My husband had the chicken fried steak with a salad and French fries. I had the combo meal with fried shrimp, fried alligator bites, hush puppies, and fried okra. We also had the appetizer of fried calamari. The food was delicious!! And the portions were amazing, definitely TEXAS SIZED! We will definitely be going back to enjoy again!

Stopped by on our way to Rockport. Being a Sunday right around the time church was getting out the place was packed thus service was slow and it took nearly an hour to get our food. Can't really blame them for that. Once we got it was nice and hot and very tasty! Large portions too. Loved the ducks and turtles outside then a quick stop at the candy shop next door.

Went and had dinner for 2 the gumbo tasted straight from the can my drink didn't taste like it any liquor in it and last time I check 1lb of snow crab came with more than one cluster. Our server was great but please add some seasoning to the crab bowl it was very bland to say the least

Food was subpar for the price. crawfish mash potatoes were served cold. Other items were over cooked and it's not what it use to be.

Good service. Wide variety of seafood dishes. Cheese crab dip is outstanding. 4 can easily share as an appetizer. Water views.

There is no other place that I ANXIOUSLY AWAIT crawfish season to start!! Joel and his team does…read morethem perfectly -- the perfect amount of spice, the perfect size bugs, and always a competitive price. Definitely worth the drive to Needville! While we sure love those bugs, honestly there has not been a single thing that wasn't outstanding on his menu. Oh! And besides the fantastic food.... You will always find the owner Joel first in line to help others in times of crisis. It's not unusual for him to cook up huge batches of something delicious to feed first responders, flood victims, etc. We love Bayou Boys, and this world needs more Joel's in it!!

I came to order some crawfish since it's now in season. I read reviews online and they were…read moreadvertising $8/lb I decided to try. There's parking around the building. When I walked up, a couple was outside having their crawfish. It's a grab n geaux as they say online. I ordered 4 lbs and some boudin balls. I was informed it would be about 45 mins since they do Louisiana style, after cooking it requires a 30 min soak. I sat outside while waiting, as soon as I sat at the patio tables, more and more patrons stoped by to order. Within 25 mins, about 20 of us were waiting. They would update us on the time left to pick up. They place the crawfish in styrofoam to-go container and bag them up. The crawfish were on the small-medium end but that is expected given the time of year. The favor was good, the shells were a bit soft and it seemed that it may have been a touch overcooked but for the larger ones, it was just fine. Boudin balls were about baseball sized but very salty. I may return for more crawfish but once the season is fully going.
