My husband and I purchased a GE range from Home Depot back in June. We learned at that time that it needed to be converted from natural gas to liquid propane and Home Depot told us they do not provide this service. I researched dozens of sites, plumbing companies and appliance specialist companies, and decided to try JUSTIN FROST from PRECISION APPLIANCE SERVICES. He came out 4 times during the month of July to install the conversion kit, but after his last visit, the burners were not burning correctly. I knew something wasn't right so Justin said he would call GE and get back to me. JUSTIN FROST NEVER RESPONDED so I called GE directly and they sent an appliance repair specialist to us. Unfortunately because someone else had already worked on it, they were not able to help us. They could not spend the time trying to figure out what JUSTIN FROST did wrong and then try to fix it. Even though the GE specialist was not able to help us, he did tell me what was wrong with the installation of the kit: (1) the orifices were installed on the wrong burners so some burn too hot and on other burners the flame does not change at all, even after turning the knob from high to low; (2) it takes 30 seconds+ plus for the burners to finally ignite, which is a safety hazard as gas is constantly leaking while trying to ignite, (3) the screws behind the knobs were all stripped. I called JUSTIN FROST to discuss the situation and he seemed very friendly at first and even scheduled an appointment to come back out to fix the conversion kit. Guess what? JUSTIN FROST never showed up! He never responded to any of my calls or texts and I learned that he blocked my number. We ended up with a ruined range that could potentially be leaking gas and no one to fix it. Needless to say, I have never been so disappointed with someone you trust in your home who leads you on telling you he can perform a service he obviously is not capable of. I strongly do NOT RECOMMEND JUSTIN FROST at PRECISION APPLIANCE SERVICES!! I called another appliance company and they told me that once the kit is installed incorrectly, it cannot be fixed and my only option is to buy another new range, which we did.

It did not fix the problem - the ice maker still did not work. I contacted Michael three times asking for assistance to further address the problem. He did not follow up, nor did he reimburse for the service call. On a related note, I watched as Michael "tested" the water valve. After the fact and when I did my own research on how to test a water valve, I learned that Michael did it incorrectly - he did not place the multimeter leads on the appropriate terminals. When I did it correctly, I found out that my water valve was still functional. In other words, something else was the cause of the problem. I am most dissatisfied with Michael's failure to follow up with me. He writes about his business, "Honesty and customer satisfaction are my number one goal." He did not live up to this promise with me.

When I called in the morning of my scheduled appointment, he asked is it was ok if he showed up around 10:30 am. He did show up right at 10:30 am, made the repair, and was gone in less than an hour. I then left my home for a little over an hour and when returned I was overwhelmed with the smell of natural gas stink. After both the Police and Firemen where at my house investigating a gas leak, all they could find was something in the kitchen around the stove. Steve was called back and asked to return to investigate his "repair". He said he could return but would need to charge another service call. Really! He did return and showed up at the same time the Gas company technician showed up. He was rude and argumentative in regards to the connection between his service of my gas stove and the following gas leak in my house. We called a repairman from their company to take a look at our front two burners. When he got there he proceeded to take the top off and complained about the amount of grease saying we must have had an oil spill. This is NOT true, we simply have used our stove for cooking for over 10 years. After relaying to us the problem, he started to reassemble the stovetop with all the grease still inside, WHICH ONCE AGAIN, was the main problem. Before he could finish, I stopped him saying, "At least let me clean out the grease from the inside of the stovetop first". Then, he proceed to aimlessly stand around and watch me wipe out the inside. While I realize that I did not pay him to clean out the stove, I expected that he might at least offer to help clean the grease, which again was the main problem. Then he commented, "Time is money", while waiting for me to finish a job which took me maximum of five minutes to wipe the majority of the grease out. Even my 11 year old knows that a basic clean is common sense before reassembling something. I can only imagine what would have happened if we had not been home to direct him to do a BARE MINIMUM job. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE.

The washing machine stopped working, not locking or dispensing water. I was under the impression I would have to replace it if the repair cost was going to be outrageous. The technician came on Monday morning as agreed, diagnosed the issue, and returned again the very next day to replace the part and do the work as agreed on Monday after the diagnosis. The value of the repair was good since I was concerned I would have to replace the washing machine with a new one. Luckily, that was not necessary. I will definitely be using Hal Fix again in the future and will recommend it to anyone who needs a washing machine repair! My washing machine works as new again (though it was only 2 years old to begin with, but the warranty expired!).
