I originally opted for the former but changed my mind when I found out that the burger special had pork belly on it. Yummmm! The burger was great. I'll have to go back again to try the chicken. I originally ordered the coleslaw because I intended to have the chicken and canceled it because I opted for the burger. It came anyway and I was charged for it. Good thing I ate it because it was actually some of the better coleslaw I've had in Amsterdam. In other restaurants in Amsterdam when several people in the party order fries frequently the fries are combined into one large serving. I really don't care for this but oh well. The place has a great atmosphere, fun and lively. It got very busy while I was there and the busier it got the louder the music got. The service was friendly and actually quite good considering how busy they were. In addition I ordered the fried chicken on the menu for take away. They appear to be fillets of chicken battered and deep fried. Nothing special though it seems they have some spice to them. Still I had to try them. I'll have to go back for another go round because I wanted to also try their milk shakes.

At full price the breakfast buffet is 22 Euros which is a bit pricey but I think is well worth it! There is an assortment of meat, pastry, and all sorts of delicious bites to choose from. My fav is the scrambled eggs which is creamy and delicate. The croissant is very flakey and amazing. I also love that they have mushrooms included in the assortment. Pretty much almost anything I ate was delicious. The staff is also very nice and accommodating and the interior decor is cozy and romantic. Amazing fresh food. Eggs are creamy. Fresh mushrooms.
