pubic hairs all over the restroom

worse place ever. i travel with husband for work. salinas was our mid way to our destination so we stoped to get a showered and fuel up . i was assigned shower 4 the . number was on a screen i walked to the shower , put the code as i open the first thing i see was some white substance on the toilet.(yes it looked like semen ) i was perplexed i couldn't believe what i was seeing i proceeded to walk to the sink . then the shower just to confirm what i was thinking since i stepped in !It was DIRTY had not been clean at alll! and they had the nerve to assign that for use!! i walked outside i went to the person on the front, told that the shower was still dirty if i can please be re assigned another shower, he proceeded to ignore me and be on his phone. i was in such disbelief when i see the manager he walked to the shower and him too! he didn't even apologize or anything on the contrary he made me feel like if did the wrong, he then started arguing with the janitor. then the janitor started giving me attitude telling me it hadn't been cleaned to step outside. i asked if i can use another one that is clean he Said No ! fast forward no one re assigned me another shower! my husband walked in to hold the door so i could just wash my hair. honestly i don't think it was ethical from any of them. not even apologize or offer a different shower literally was forced by necessity and lack of their professionalism to use that nasty shower. its an insult for the amount of money spent at their station plus the fee to use their nasty dirty semen filled toilet and hairy floor and showers .

a gas pump at a gas station

Made a stop here on my drive south. It is big, clean, and right off the highway. It looks like they have other amenities other than gas given the size and name. It was super windy but I have started expecting that it is much cooler and breezier in this area compared to the bay area.

The staff is trying their best. But there is remodeling in the store. Still have plenty of snacks. Sketchy people are there at night. No more extended parking on the car side. Twenty minutes limit. That does help when the people that would homestead in the parking lot. Still best fuel prices especially if you have the rewards.

Low price gas

What a great place to stop and load up on gas and other goodies you might need for your road trip. I filled up my rental minivan with low priced gasoline then went inside to buy lottery tickets.

I've been coming to this gas station and only this gas station (if I can help it) during my trips to and from SF and San Luis Obispo for the past few years. The gas is reliably affordable - prices for sure lower than any other town down 101 - and usually lower than others in the area. The reviewer from 2009 that quoted $2.05 gas prices made me cry a little. The inside of the center has large and clean restrooms, cheap fountain sodas (I live for that monster 44 oz. Diet Coke with the vanilla flavoring), and a Subway. It's all geared towards long-haul truckers, which I like to pretend I am when I roll (screech) up in my sweet 4-door rusted-out Corolla. Service is not always on the ball and I often have to wait 5-10 minutes in line for gas, so that loses 2 stars, plus one for the nostalgia of coming here and its timeless reliability. Pro tip: When you're done pumping gas, don't be an asshole and leave your car parked in the stall when you want to go grab a snack. Park near the shop and go inside for as long as you want - just let the rest of us get our gas quickly and go back to our trip. I can't tell you how many times I've needlessly waited for someone only to find they were inside buying Slim Jims. I've never seen $151 charges on my card, so I dunno what Jen R. was up to. Gas happy, drink happy, drive happy.

This is where folks stop to use the restroom on a roadtrip up or down the 101 freeway. It's relatively clean.

First of all, I want to clarify one thing: the majority of the negative reviews you see here are…read moreabout the pharmacy, and honestly, they are completely justified. However, I want to talk about the front store because, for the first time in a couple of years, I actually felt like taking the time to leave a review. I had a bad experience here several years ago and didn't really want to come back. But I went in last week, and something had changed. There was a new employee.... a very kind, Tall....beautiful, patient, and respectful young woman who treated me with genuine kindness. I also noticed the way she interacted with other customers, especially the elderly. She was incredibly patient and respectful with them, which really stood out to me. She was smiling the entire time and made the store feel much more welcoming. What really caught my attention was that she asked me how I was doing and whether I had found everything I needed. Those little things made a big difference because it showed that she genuinely cared about the customer experience. That's why I wanted to take the time to leave this review. I really hope they continue hiring more people like her. I just wanted to recognize her kindness, patience, professionalism, and positive attitude. Employees like her can really change the way a customer feels about a store.... And for that reason I will coming back again

I want to make it clear that this negative review is directed specifically at the employee who was…read morein charge of the photo department when I visited, NOT at Walgreens as a company. I had a very disappointing experience at the Walgreens in Salinas a couple of days ago when I went to pick up my photos from the photo department.....During the afternoon. I had to wait for a long time, and no one came to assist me, even though the two employees working at the registers were dealing with two long lines of customers and still tried to help by calling the person in charge of the photo department. When the employee finally showed up... ( He was an asian guy) he had a very unpleasant expression on his face and walked extremely slowly. I honestly couldn't tell whether he was doing it on purpose or if he genuinely hated his job that much. To make matters worse, instead of helping me, he answered his cell phone and completely ignored me, leaving me standing there waiting while he talked on the phone. He then called over the female employee working at the register and asked her to come assist me. That's when I realized that she wasn't familiar with the photo department and that he was apparently going to show her how to handle the situation. However, what happened next was an even more unpleasant surprise. I want to emphasize that the female employee was incredibly friendly, polite, and, above all, professional. I mention this because of the way the male employee treated her. The man continued talking on his phone while walking away from her. She was clearly unsure of what to do. He started giving her instructions very quickly without fully explaining what she needed to do. She seemed confused, but she continued listening and trying to understand. Honestly, even I was confused by his instructions. I tried to follow what he was saying, but it was impossible to understand. He then told her to check the size of the poster I had ordered. She was just about to do so when he pointed at the poster in an extremely arrogant manner, raised his voice, and yelled at her that it was right there. She tried to say something, but he kept talking over her instead of allowing her to finish. I found his behavior incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. What impressed me most, however, was the way the female employee handled the situation. She was so professional, polite, and graceful that she refused to engage in an argument or respond to his attitude. She remained composed and continued trying to help me despite the uncomfortable situation he had created..... I believe this behavior deserves to be addressed. The problem was not her; she was doing her best to help me. My complaint is about the employee who treated both the customer and his coworker so poorly. I want to make one thing very clear: this is not a negative review of Walgreens as a company. I love Walgreens, and I will continue shopping at this location. This review is specifically about the employee who was in charge of the photo department that evening. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the cashiers working at the front registers. They were trying their best to help customers despite being busy with long lines. To the lovely employee who helped me that evening: Thank you for your kindness, patience, and professionalism. I truly appreciated your beautiful smile and your willingness to help me. I hope you continue learning the photo department so that the next time I visit, you can assist me again with that same smile. You handled a difficult situation with grace, and I genuinely appreciate you.
