She told us cash only for the gas cap, so I'm not sure if that is with every person, but I do know that was told to us. It's not hard to find, if your driving away from Pilot and the freeway it's not too far and it will be on your right hand side. There construction going on the road. We pulled up the guy looked around for a gas cap that fits our box truck but no luck, even though the lady said that did. The guy gave us a temp gas cap which was very nice of him, he actually gave us two of them just in case. The experience was cool, we took our cap and set off into the wind.

No hello's, no warm welcome just a what do you need?. He took my info and keys and not another word from him. So I sat in 1 of 3 hard plastic chairs waiting in I guess what they call a waiting room. About an hour into it he said yours is on the rack so shouldn't be much longer. Not much longer must equate to another hour. This dealership service department is so unprofessional. The employees weren't wearing company shirts and they were wearing shorts, not uniform shorts one was wearing cut off denim shorts. They were answering and talking to customers on speaker phone. I sat there for right at 2 hours waiting to get a simple oil change and heard them complain and make comments about customers the whole time. The young service man, in a Ford uniform, that brought the paperwork and my keys in was the nicest one there. So kudos to him. Would I go back there? Nope!

I had my oil changed at Bender Honda in November of 2021. 4000 miles later, my oil plug fell out…read morewhile driving on I-40. The mechanics in Moriarty who serviced it said that there was no way for a plug to fall out other than it being installed incorrectly and then working itself out from road vibrations. I called Bender Honda and asked them to help, to at least tow my car back to Clovis for me and reimburse any payments to the other mechanics, as well as try to diagnose how bad the damages to the engine were. I was told, rather rudely, that this was "not their problem." I have always used the dealership for repairs or service because of the peace of mind that if something went awry, they would do the right thing and help a loyal customer out. Unfortunately, Bender Honda won't do that for you. I won't be returning, and I don't recommend anyone else to take their car to this dealership either. I have submitted a complaint to the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau.
