    Flat white

Ah slightly disappointed. Stopped by this location after work for a quick pick me up and the shop orientation was a little confusing. Seems like it is still following a one direction flow system which is great if I knew which shop entrance was the beginning haha. I ordered a flat white with the barista at a kiosk and proceeded down the counter for drink pickup. Overall the staff were not friendly and seem to be in a rush. Rush for what I'm not quite sure as I was the only customer... Regarding my drink, the coffee itself was not bad. I liked the flavour but I was not a fan of the milk frothing. I probably will not be coming back again with so many other options nearby.

Yeah, not a bad Americano, but the staff is a tad unfriendly. Big points lost on this one. It IS in the Manulife centre after all.

$6 coffee and no sleeve. Told me it's extra for another cup. Rude staff, ok coffee. I'd go to Starbucks next door instead.

The coffee is mediocre, the staff unprofessional and the prices high.

We got a matcha latte with oat milk, cappuccino, and the breakfast sandwich w smoked salmon (forgot the name). Matcha latte was great, I loved that they clarified whether I wanted sweetened or unsweetened. Sometimes cafes serve them sweetened without me realizing. It's not super crazy high quality but it's definitely better than most cafes. I only had a sip of the cappuccino but I could tell my mom didn't love it. It's just on the fruitier side so it tasted more sour and not creamy/smooth (which is what my mom prefers). Depends on your preference. She really liked the latte art though and didn't want to ruin it by drinking it! The sandwich was big and delicious. There's a hint of dill flavor which paired well with the salmon. I could tell my mom liked it. The cafe itself has a few tables and high top counter seating, as well as seating outside. There's two restrooms in the back. They seem to bake everything in house and it smelled wonderful as they brought stuff out the oven. Loved the all female staff!

This coffee shop is nestled semi-behind a pillar beside the lobby of the Intercontinental hotel Toronto, which adds to its charm for me, in a way. Love finding a good "hole in the wall" :) I love the bright, feminine, beachy decor and coral pink & aqua blue accents. It's not too tropical, but it definitely transports you outside of Canada. Coupled with Aussie staples like vegemite and Noosa magazines (takes me straight back there!), as well as gorgeous ceramic coffee mugs for purchase, the vibes are great here. While it is a smaller shop, there is enough seating for 3 tables, and it's very cozy. Had to go for a flat white, given the Aussie homage here. This one got my approval (and I'm picky about my flat whites) - they used a lighter, more balanced espresso roast, paired with just the right amount of creamy frothed milk. They also had a banana bread latte that my companion really enjoyed too! Looking forward to my next visit!

It's nice that they are open early-ish at 7am, though even a little bit earlier might be nice. The coffee is alright. The heart they draw for warm lattes is cute. Never tried an Aussie coffee brand before -- heard that they have high coffee standards there, but tbh couldn't really tell a difference. Maybe I'm just not a fan of fruity/sour beans. Can't say I get the hype, and quite overpriced too at $7-8+ for coffees. Guess it's the location and rent. It's better than Starbucks, but I don't think that is saying much. I do like that they have vegemite pastry, which you won't see at other places! Nice Australian touch.
