the interior of a coffee shop

There are a lot of options for coffee on the PATH, but Pilot certainly stands out. Not just for its clean and elegant interior, but also for the quality of their coffee. Which is probably the most important thing for a coffee shop. The service doesn't fall short either, so a full 5 stars for them. The people that work here are nice and you can count on them serving you a cup of coffee that upholds their standards each time. I got a cappuccino and a chocolate croissant when I passed by in the morning on a weekday and it was the perfect start to my day. I found their cappuccino to be really good. Just enough espresso taste balanced out with milk foam. It was also just the right temperature when I sipped it.

Pilot is one of the trendier, and therefore busier coffee spots in the PATH. An office favourite, Pilot has become my go-to when I need a pick-me-up. It's a bit pricy, as you'd expect in the area, and with the Bay Street crowd. In order of preference: the cookies are good, the drip coffee is above average, the lattes are okay (try the matcha!), the scones are a miss, and the paninis a stay-far-away.

This Pilot Coffee Roasters is located inside the PATH between First Canadian Place and Scotia Plaza, so there are always patrons in suits here. This location is much larger than the one at Union Station, has a few tables, multiple baristas making coffee at the same time, and has multiple entrances/exits! You'll understand why this is important if you visit the Union Station location. It's not isolated to this Pilot location, but Pilot recently changed the chocolate that they use to make mochas. It's a dark chocolate. Although I like dark chocolate, I don't like it in my coffee. I find the newer chocolate to be too bitter. The newer chocolate also increased the price to $4.75 + tax. I tried the mocha at this location as well as the Union Station location and the one at this location was less bitter. Please bring back the Godiva chocolate! I do love Pilot coffee, so I may have to find a new favorite drink.

Nice, bright and spacious! Great to have a coffee break while people watching. Love the huge window front with the bar seating! And of course they serving Pilot Coffee too!

I enjoyed my coffee with almond milk. The temperature was perfect. They only have bar-style seats which could be uncomfortable for some. The staff was helpful. I would come here again.

This is a picture of the oat milk they offer. I found a pic of it off the Toronto Union Station Insta account. This milk is actually good

I LOVE this place. Every time I've come to this location I feel extremely welcomed and always receive amazing customer service and delicious beverages. The everything cookie is addicting... ice almond milk mocha is also to die for! I went the other day and turns out they're offering oat milk! How interesting? I love that they're testing new and different "milks"

Canadians love Starbucks. They are everywhere. Im not a fan so went on the hunt in Toronto. I stumbled across Pilot popup on Adelaide E behind Canada Post store near Victoria st corner. Apparently started by some kiwis, they now have 6 locations in Toronto. I had a very good Cortardo

Busy outpost in the path level at First Canadian Place. Quick service with great coffee.

Baristas are pretty friendly and the line moved quickly. That said, my latte was unbelievably small by anyone's standards. Terrible value.

This coffee shop is nestled semi-behind a pillar beside the lobby of the Intercontinental hotel Toronto, which adds to its charm for me, in a way. Love finding a good "hole in the wall" :) I love the bright, feminine, beachy decor and coral pink & aqua blue accents. It's not too tropical, but it definitely transports you outside of Canada. Coupled with Aussie staples like vegemite and Noosa magazines (takes me straight back there!), as well as gorgeous ceramic coffee mugs for purchase, the vibes are great here. While it is a smaller shop, there is enough seating for 3 tables, and it's very cozy. Had to go for a flat white, given the Aussie homage here. This one got my approval (and I'm picky about my flat whites) - they used a lighter, more balanced espresso roast, paired with just the right amount of creamy frothed milk. They also had a banana bread latte that my companion really enjoyed too! Looking forward to my next visit!

Super cute little coffee shop located in the lobby of the InterContinental…read more Everything here is Instagram worthy and on brand. It's a tiny, cozy place with only a couple tables and tall chairs, so they can really only accommodate grab-and-go orders, other than a few people to sit or work. Perfect for a coffee before a Jays game or if you're here for a conference next door. I realized it was already late fall and I hadn't yet had my one and only PSL of the year, so that's what I ordered. It was decent as far as PSL's go and came with a lovely little foam pumpkin on top. Tres adorbs. The iced strawberry matcha latte also looked incredible and I had order envy. My friend ordered a pastry and said it was delicious. They also have a great little selection of food items, canned bevvies, coffee beans, teas, as well as souvenir gifts for purchase such as ceramic mugs. Did I mention the coffee was really good?
