    Matcha seaberry
    Rachel L.

Had no idea what seaberry was until I came here. But it works so well with matcha! (Iced only). Was able to taste the matcha and takes away from it's bitterness. Can still taste the fruity from the seaberry, which thankfully was less sour than anticipated. It's also great as a lemonade too! Which is a more refreshing option than the matcha. Just wish it were bigger. Limited seats and staff so longer wait in a smaller space.

Raspberry baked good and iced vanilla latte

LOVED this place, and would for sure come back for either coffee or breakfast! I got an iced leche-leche (SO good) and a raspberry baked good (I have no idea what it was called, but picture included). My bf got an iced vanilla latte (which he liked) and a "Morning Heaven" croissant which was divine! I almost stole it from him, it was that good. Highly recommend! The place was relatively small (a few tables, a bar, and a couple outdoor seats) but had cute vibes and service was friendly. If you're looking for a quick breakfast/lunch and a coffee, definitely come here!

Cosy cafe with patio seating which is perfect as the weather warms up. They make their pastries in house! I tried the almond hazelnut croissant paired with an almond flat white. The staff are very patient and attentive. If you like fruitier coffee notes then this place is for you! They have almond and oat milk as the dairy alternatives.

This chili scone was out of this world good! Crispy on the outside and super tender on the inside plus lots of flavour.

Stopped in on my way to a work meeting and enjoyed a delicious three chili scone and an Americano. Scone surprised me at how good it was - crispy exterior with a tender middle and packed with flavour, not too spicy. It was honestly perfect. The coffee was also great too - smooth and hot lol Small cafe with a very chill vibe - think claim 80s music playing. Staff very friendly. They don't offer decaf or sell beans (yet) but definitely worth checking out! I will return again.

I was walking up University on a recent Tuesday morning and I felt like buying myself a fancy coffee. El Pacho looked suitably busy, so I figured I'd pop in and grab something. It's a small place with a limited menu, so I decided to go with the Leche-Leche, which is evidently made with coffee, condensed milk, and hot milk. I also noticed a freshly-baked Cheddar Cheese Scone just sitting there, so I ordered that and munched on it while waiting for my drink. It's really, really tasty. It's very flavorful and contains some interesting spices, and while the mild sweetness initially took me aback, I eventually found the whole thing to be a seriously delectable pastry. The coffee was even better. It's definitely very milk forward but the balance is just about perfect. It's a delicious blend of the bitter with the sweet, and I gleefully drank it down really quickly. I'll definitely be ordering it again. El Pacho is an awesome independent little joint, and I'm happy it's evidently doing so well.

I've been all over Toronto this week looking for the best little hole in the wall cafe and I think I finally found it! Pacho coffee has an awesome environment, good music in my opinion, cool decorations, and of course awesome service. The coffee is spot on, even though they are using the same grinders and machines everyone else is using there is something special that they bring that the other 8 places I went to didn't have. So far I've gotten a couple macchiatos and a pour over, they were all done perfectly with the macchiato bringing all the flavor with none of the bitterness or acid. The pour over had so much flavor it was almost juice, but still no acidity or acid, just perfect. I really wish they sold their beans because this is on par with the best we have in Vancouver and I would love to compare.

Cute coffee shop a stone's throw from Union. Managed to snag seating inside. They've got counter style window seating and an additional 3 tables, making it a small & cozy spot. I opted for a season pumpkin spice latte which was nice. Quite light on the spice flavour but still a good latte. I also decided to try the banana pudding. It was big enough for 2 people! It was a good pudding, however, it could do without the hazelnuts which were in every spoonful. The crunch made you forget you were eating a banana pudding. I'd save the nuts for another dessert! They have a lot of great pastries to choose from includung croissants. Definitely check them out! The staff is very friendly as well & brought the order to the table.

Shoutout to El Pacho! I was in Canada for a work conference, and this coffee shop livened up the lives of me and my coworkers. One of my coworkers is a huge coffee connoisseur and found this spot and was intrigued by the coffee artistry, so we decided to check it out. We ended up going three days in a row. My coworkers fell in love with the coffee lemonade (which is more of a limeade, and as a non-coffee fan, I was a fan). Also, their pour over was a hit for my coworker. The baristas take their time to make the drinks, and you can taste the difference! As for me, I got the iced matcha/strawberry. Please order the iced matcha strawberry on your next visit... it is worth it. They sift and weigh the matcha, too! There is a science to this. All of us also ordered pastries (almond croissants and a breakfast croissant) and they are flakey and delicious. I love how modern this coffee shop is. It's also on the smaller side and a family-owned business, so support local! The baristas were all so lovely and friendly. If I am ever back in Canada, I must make my way here.

Another new tiny cafe in the financial district! Just couple minutes walk from Union and the office. I could smell the croissant every time I walked by, so I had to get one to try. It was sooo delicious and flaky! I ordered a latte as well (forgot to take pic) and it so good! Service was great but a bit slow. One person made the sandwich croissants in the back, while the other staff (I believe the owner) took orders and made the drinks. We were the only ones there when we ordered but it took about 15 mins because lots of people came right after and the owner was busy explaining the menu. Hopefully they can hire one more person. I'm sure they'll be getting a lot of business soon!

I came by to try out the drinks here and ordered the iced lavender latte with almond milk, and the iced chai latte. I think I should have brought a hot drink instead as it may have tasted better. The latte was kind of bland and it was just blah. My friend got the chai latte which I tried and was a little better. I felt It was pricey considering also there was a lot of ice in the cup too-$7.63 . The service was good, and the cafe was decorated in Halloween decorations which was festive. However, the drinks weren't something that satisfied me in the end. Maybe I will Come back to try a hot drink instead next time.

Best matcha latte I've had during my week long stay in Toronto. The smoked salmon sandwich was good too.

Got the leche-leche which they described as a cortado with sweetened condensed milk!

This coffee shop is nestled semi-behind a pillar beside the lobby of the Intercontinental hotel Toronto, which adds to its charm for me, in a way. Love finding a good "hole in the wall" :) I love the bright, feminine, beachy decor and coral pink & aqua blue accents. It's not too tropical, but it definitely transports you outside of Canada. Coupled with Aussie staples like vegemite and Noosa magazines (takes me straight back there!), as well as gorgeous ceramic coffee mugs for purchase, the vibes are great here. While it is a smaller shop, there is enough seating for 3 tables, and it's very cozy. Had to go for a flat white, given the Aussie homage here. This one got my approval (and I'm picky about my flat whites) - they used a lighter, more balanced espresso roast, paired with just the right amount of creamy frothed milk. They also had a banana bread latte that my companion really enjoyed too! Looking forward to my next visit!

Super cute little coffee shop located in the lobby of the InterContinental…read more Everything here is Instagram worthy and on brand. It's a tiny, cozy place with only a couple tables and tall chairs, so they can really only accommodate grab-and-go orders, other than a few people to sit or work. Perfect for a coffee before a Jays game or if you're here for a conference next door. I realized it was already late fall and I hadn't yet had my one and only PSL of the year, so that's what I ordered. It was decent as far as PSL's go and came with a lovely little foam pumpkin on top. Tres adorbs. The iced strawberry matcha latte also looked incredible and I had order envy. My friend ordered a pastry and said it was delicious. They also have a great little selection of food items, canned bevvies, coffee beans, teas, as well as souvenir gifts for purchase such as ceramic mugs. Did I mention the coffee was really good?
