I went on a Friday around 1030 am and it was pretty full and busy. They offer lots of coffees, teas and even protein lattes. Sadly they only have whey protein....i would suggest carrying a vegan protein as well as they do have alternative milks. There were pastries and "snack conscious" packs also available. There was an area to the left with some tables/chairs and a room to the right with a sofa, tall table etc. Patio furniture was out front but way too cold to sit out there on my visit day. I ordered a black decaf coffee to go. The friendly barista informed me it would be an Americano which tasted great. When I got it the cup was about 2/3 full and it cost just under $4. So, not cheap but very tasty. I'd rather come here than the big chains #supportlocal

Entrance design BLOWS. Cash is too close to open door/entrance; and nobody wants to move, or when we were there; too bizy taking 87 photos of their flat white and pastries... Honestly; you see more than 3 people in line; just leave. Your gonna stand around the cramped cash area. But the building is great and the idea/location is NICE.. sure beats the over populated Lake Shore/Port Credit main street area.

This place is always packed and that isn't a negetive thing. It's really a place with I love blueberry early grey scone & Apple cameral scone. For a small space with lots of people it isn't overwhelming. I hope they make another location by Southdown

I came in with a group of 8 people to get coffee after having our flights delayed, cancelled, and drinking terrible coffee for days. This establishment was the only thing that brought my soul back to life. I ordered a Dulce latte with oat milk, and it was so delicious. The scones were well baked, soft, and were not dry. I'm not too much of a fan of butter tarts, however my friends really enjoyed them. The ginger snap cookie was soft and had a subtle ginger flavor, which was nice for someone who doesn't love how intense ginger can be. The coffee shop itself is a cozy establishment , all of us were able to sit comfortably in the room on the right. The staff were super helpful with any food and drink recommendation's. They sell their coffee as whole beans, but they offered to grind them for me. They made sure to ask me how I make my coffee to ensure I had the perfect grind. Then they repackaged and sealed my coffee for me to fly back to the US. It was super nice that they did that instead of just giving it back to me in an opened bag.

Super packed in the morning, but the line moved quick! Offering unique seasonal menu on top of the regulars; also offer coffee-concentrate based mocktail (would come back to try this) It was a chilly morning so I decided to get the good ol cortado. Delicious and silky.

Good! Super roasted taste to the coffee. Lots of seating area, including for groups + Wi-Fi. They sell various beans and can grind them for you. There's also outdoor seating and an area to take photos during the December holiday season outside called the "North pole." There is merchandise for sale - eg tshirts, & beanies.

A new fav for me! What a charming little roaster and coffee shop. Located in Port Credit, slightly tucked away, apart from the hustle and bustle of the main road, but close enough for a morning stroll with some real good coffee! They've got a bunch of blends available in their rotation for a fresh pull or bag to go, along with some cold brews and concentrates. Super intrigued by the sounds of their lemonade cold brew mocktail! Their in-house baked goods all look amazing. On Saturdays, they also carry pastries from Gouter, which seems to be fan faves. By 11 am, they've only got two pastries left. My partner and I had a hard time deciding but picked up a scone and choco amande pastry - highly recommend them both! The double-baked chocolate almond croissant was perfectly buttery, flaky, and just oozing with almond custard, at every bite. The perfect combination of crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. There's lots of seating available, indoors and outdoors. For some yummy baked goods, awesome baristas, excellent coffee, and atmosphere, I definitely recommend it.

An extremely wonderful coffee roaster and shop located in Port Credit area of Mississauga. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Serving baked goods and coffee as early as 7:30am. It's a lovely neighbourhood space. And great staff here. Highly recommend the in-house baked scones!

This place is so rad! Love the vibe and the coffee! Delicious! Strawberry rhubarb croissant, long black, and a coffee to go. So blessed to be here. Yo La Tengo and David Bowie playing in the background to top it off. Make it a great day, friends.

Living up its name, Back Road Coffee Roasters can be found on a back road in the charming village of Port Credit. Despite its off-the-beaten-path location, it's not unusual to see long lines of java enthusiasts any day of the week. The spot is owned by two brothers who have a passion for coffee, motorcycles and community - and this certainly comes across in the shop's authentic vibe and friendly service. Enjoy a warm beverage on their spacious side patio or grab a coffee and a treat to go and explore the beauty of the nearby Waterfront Trail.

Pre-Covid visit review Located in the middle of nowhere it feels like. Nestled in between auto body shops (many of which were closed around lunch time when i went, felt a bit sketch), totally didn't expect this. I'm also not familiar with the area so i was very surprised. Once i went through the doors, i was surprised to see a very rustic comfy looking coffee shop. I ordered my typical latte and a ginger molasses cookie. Latte was strong yet smooth and creamy. Ginger molasses cookie was soft and chewy. I wanted another, but I couldn't because I was driving back to work when i took a bite of the cookie. I was told by the barista that their baked goods come from a bakery that they own down near Liberty Village. Could be potentially called Yummy Bakery? Or something along the lines of that. i would definitely go back if i was ever in the area, but i usually don't have a reason to be there unfortunately. But good to know that theres good coffee places outside of downtown toronto.

Cute, well done decor, very picture friendly. The important thing is the coffee is fantastic. The hot chocolate was great too. Friendly service, no rushing your choice and great art on the drinks. It's not priced much differently than any coffee shop and is a great stop to add something to your day. The place seems quiet enough for a chat with a friend but busy enough for people watching. Great to see upscale independent options.

Located just south of the Go Train tracks in Port Credit. This location is tucked away!

Very close to a 5* in regards to a unique business, quality of product in this tucked away spot in Port Credit! The only reason for the missing star is that their Hours of Operation are a bit limited. (I asked the gentleman behind the counter and they said that they roast in the afternoons.) And their pricing is a *tad* higher, especially in terms of beans - $17-18 for a bag. Is that the going rate now? I haven't purchased beans from a roaster in a while now... You can tell that a lot of time, effort, and money was poured into the exterior/interior of this building. As you walk in, it has this small town feel to it! The roastery area is fairly large with soaring ceilings, and a very man cave feel complete with a Harley + a '67 'Stang! Branding is on-point with a love for the road 'n roasting on full display! I really loved the industrial look that feels more city than suburbs. ;) They have now added Saturday 8-12pm to their hours, so hopefully that'll push them into extending their current operating times. No Wi-Fi, so you'll just hafta go alone or with good company!

I found parking right in front of the cafe. It's diagonal, pull-in street parking. I walked in. It's a push to get through the door. I was immediately greeted by a friendly, accommodating staff member. I wanted a hot chocolate and asked about the four different ounce sizes. He showed me all the paper white cups. I went with the second-largest size. I also asked that I get soy or some non-dairy beverage added to it. Done! I have a weakness for baked goods. This cafe has vegan options, including pumpkin vegan muffins during my visit. Everything looked so goods, from brownies, to cookies. I saw the large cookie jars staring at me. My gosh, each cookie is larger than the palm of my hand and I have big hands! I wanted a s'mores one so badly. You basically take the tongs, grab your cookie, and place it in a paper bag. I got my hot chocolate and cookie that came to $9. It's not cheap, but it's fair trade goods. I expect to pay slightly more. There is a draft in the cafe, so the merchant bill that I had ripped off the machine before getting my bill blew off the counter and onto the floor. I let the man know, which he appreciated. You can pay by cash, and debit and credit cards. I also provided a tip. As usual, it's up to you. It was a bit of a challenge with full hands to get out of the cafe when you need to pull on the door handle to get out. Luckily, I put my hot chocolate on the bar-like table, pulled the door open, used my foot to keep it open, grabbed my drink, and moved quickly through the door. Problem solved! The hot chocolate is dark chocolate. I happen to love it. If you are more of a milk hot chocolate lover, you might find the hot chocolate to be missing sugar and perhaps taste bitter. I loved it. There was probably more soy in my drink than there should have been, but it was perfect for my less sugary needs. The s'mores cookie is extremely yummy! OMG, if I lived in the neighbourhood, I would buy the jar of cookies every day. It was buttery, chocolatey, and marshmallowy (I know, not a word, but whatever) delicious. It paired nicely with my hot chocolate, as it had slightly more sugar. I would come back just for this cookie alone. There were plenty of seats to sit down. If you sit by the bar-like area with stools, you get a nice view of the area. People-watching is casual in this cafe. It has a nice vibe. You can get a number of fair-trade coffee varieties. I am personally not a coffee connoisseur, but I appreciated both the selection and the cause. I like this cafe. I'd come back to give the muffins and more drink items a taste the next time I'm here. As we walked in, I noticed the open concept and minimal decor and fell in love with it! We were greeted by both the employees working right away and I must say, the customer service was perhaps the best part of the entire experience. We were never rushed to order as they gave us plenty of time to debate the menu and when it came time to order, the gentleman was very thorough and helpful with the sizes of drinks, explaining the milk alternatives which are free of charge, order was clarified to ensure it was correct - all in all, you could feel he took his time to get things right for us. When our iced matcha beverages were handed off, he realized he didn't let us know they come Una's a default and there, he offered simple syrup or vanilla syrup of our choosing since we do prefer our matcha sweetened. After tasting, we told him two pumps wasn't sweet enough and he kindly added more syrup for us. I personally ordered the seasonal white chocolate matcha as a hot beverage which was tasty but a little too sweet - I would request for half sweet next time. I also got the sea salt chocolate chip cookie as I couldn't resist (it looked so good in the pastry display!) It turned out to be absolutely delicious - the edges being the best part. My mom said it paired well with her Americano which was made with their Heritage blend. Speaking of which, before my mom ordered her coffee, she was offered to try their brew before buying which was really helpful as it ended up being too acidic for her. The Heritage blend was much more her preference with the nutty notes. All in all, a nice place to study and/or grab a coffee and snack to go! I'd highly recommend anyone to visit if in the area.
