I really appreciate when a place puts that kind of energy into their customer experience. I decided to try the Lavender Matcha since they make their lavender syrup in house, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The flavor was smooth and unique without being overpowering, and everything smelled amazing inside. The space itself is really inviting. There are plenty of seating options, and I love that they've created a dedicated no laptop area that encourages actual conversation. That detail alone makes it stand out. They also have outdoor seating, which I can already tell will be perfect when the weather warms up. Overall, it feels like a spot you can actually relax in, whether you're meeting someone or just taking a break. It's also conveniently close to my job, which makes it even better. I'll definitely be coming back.

Nothing flashy or overhyped, just a well-built cafe that feels welcoming from the moment you walk in. Everything about the space felt intentional, even the washroom was cleaner and more pleasant than most places I've been to in Toronto. That alone already made it memorable. What really stood out though was how the staff took a moment to explain why they don't serve long shots. It wasn't just a "no," it was a thoughtful explanation that showed they care about the craft. That's when I knew I was in the right place. Both the espresso and pourover were spot on. Brewed at the right temperature, right amount, clean all the way through. I could really taste the full range of the beans, and the attention to detail was obvious. I honestly wished this place was right around the corner from where I live. I'd probably even hand over my own beans just to see what they could do with them.
