There are plenty of seating options, and I love that they've created a dedicated no laptop area that encourages actual conversation. That detail alone makes it stand out. They also have outdoor seating, which I can already tell will be perfect when the weather warms up. Overall, it feels like a spot you can actually relax in, whether you're meeting someone or just taking a break. It's also conveniently close to my job, which makes it even better. Now if you know anything about pour overs, serving it in a paper cup is basically like serving a glass of wine in Styrofoam cup Can you do it? Sure Should you do it? And what a experience we got!…read more This reminds me of the US Veteran owned company, they are doing good things to help the community and veterans. They give back on every purchase. We entered and found a small lounge (for first responders etc) and someone came out to show us the merchandise. We bought a few bags of coffee and shirts and got to see the production side too. Super nice people, great cause, and GREAT coffee!! We will be ordering from them in the future. It would be awesome to see them grow but keep humble as one of their shirts says. Definitely hop on their website and order some to try!!

Female bartender was very friendly. Place was quite lit on a Saturday afternoon. There was a long, communal picnic table outside, but no umbrellas in sight. Selection wasn't huge, there was a few beers on tap with 4 samples in a flight ($14). Glasses for the flights were quite BIG! Please see pic. The DDIPA/stout were standouts. There wasn't any food/snacks - maybe chips - on-site, but there was someone doing a BBQ outside, but I was unsure whether or not that was a Saturday special as I didn't see any signs.

I couldn't taste the cranberry at all and the matcha was average. I would've gotten an espresso based latte but their milk steamer wasn't working that day so no hot lattes :( I much preferred the mocha, which had a rich aromatic bean flavour that came through, instead of just a chocolate taste like a lot of mochas. lesson is to stick to coffee drinks at a coffee joint XD

As we walked in, I noticed the open concept and minimal decor and fell in love with it! We were greeted by both the employees working right away and I must say, the customer service was perhaps the best part of the entire experience. We were never rushed to order as they gave us plenty of time to debate the menu and when it came time to order, the gentleman was very thorough and helpful with the sizes of drinks, explaining the milk alternatives which are free of charge, order was clarified to ensure it was correct - all in all, you could feel he took his time to get things right for us. When our iced matcha beverages were handed off, he realized he didn't let us know they come Una's a default and there, he offered simple syrup or vanilla syrup of our choosing since we do prefer our matcha sweetened. After tasting, we told him two pumps wasn't sweet enough and he kindly added more syrup for us. I personally ordered the seasonal white chocolate matcha as a hot beverage which was tasty but a little too sweet - I would request for half sweet next time. I also got the sea salt chocolate chip cookie as I couldn't resist (it looked so good in the pastry display!) It turned out to be absolutely delicious - the edges being the best part. My mom said it paired well with her Americano which was made with their Heritage blend. Speaking of which, before my mom ordered her coffee, she was offered to try their brew before buying which was really helpful as it ended up being too acidic for her. The Heritage blend was much more her preference with the nutty notes. All in all, a nice place to study and/or grab a coffee and snack to go! I'd highly recommend anyone to visit if in the area.

I managed to find a small table that had a power outlet and ended up spending a nice piece of my Friday morning relaxing here with great coffee and a fabulous muffin. Lots of very fresh food on offer and they even had a basket of apples from someone's garden for free. Wifi worked well, people were friendly, the food came out very quickly.
